The Browns will field an all QB offense. Think of the innovation they’re about to bring to the game. You’ll never know who’s the QB. So you can’t game plan.
We need a Browns Hard Knocks
Watson goes to PUP/IR so that leaves 4 for 3 spots. They won’t trade Pickett for anything worthwhile and Flacco is the only guy that’s done it at this level with success. Can’t send either rookie to the practice squad because someone will claim them. That means they’ll be short at another position all year long. Honestly just terrible draft strategy to take two QBs. It rarely works out for a reason and there’s a reason that both were picked where they were
I dont know, the saints least experienced guy is gonna be the oldest in the qb room. Carr is crashing out, so Sough is gonna have sit behind the younger rattler to learn.
Joe Flacco is a lock to make the roster. He’s a good backup/serviceable starter and brings veteran experience. He can mentor the two young guys
Deshaun Watson could miss the whole season, in that case he wouldn’t be included in the 53 man roster.
That leaves 2 real spots on the roster, with 3 guys to decide from.
Shedeur Sanders is probably the most talented and best quarterback in the roster. The problem is whether the GM or HC trust him. It seems the Sanders pick was more of an ownership pick. Hes not quite a first round talent (probably early second) and probably isnt a franchise quarterback. But if any of these guys are to be the franchise guy, it’s him.
Kenny Pickett is washed up, but he’s got experience in the NFL. I think he could make the roster, but he’s the most likely to be cut.
Dillon Gabriel is a 6th year college vet. He’s got experience, but even then he’s not quite as talented or polished as Sanders. He’s a candidate to be cut, but i think it’ll be Pickett.
