  4. I'd rather Miro just miss the next 2 games and return year healthy, and be good for another 10 years. I do wonder if something has happened, the surgery is not taking or he's not healing right, if there was a re-agrivation… is the player saying it just doesn't feel right, or are the medical staff looking at scans and worrying about something. What ultimately decides if/when the knee is ready? What metric is It failing in that determination right now?

  6. Playing alongside Dum-dum is hard for Duchene because he plays so crazily, and Seguin isn't strong enough at the moment…so Duchene's creativity is diminished playing alongside them

  9. Oettinger pulled himself out of the last game because he went off on the whole team between periods. Now they're talking about, "oh it's just a game." This team is done.

  10. Colorado's a much better team than last year–they loaded up beautifully at the trade deadline and getting Landeskog back is tremendous for the Avs–tremendous boost. Too bad these two teams have to face each other in the first round. I think the Avs will win in 6, maybe 7, and they will likely be in the Cup final. The Stars may have one more year in them for another run, but it's conceivable this team may have to have a rebuild in the next two years.

  11. The NHL playoff format is just plain crap. The #2 seed should NEVER have to face #3 in the 1st round. Tampa has the same problem with Florida. That's 4 top teams and Cup contenders fighting each other in the first round where two really great teams will be out. It's unacceptable and NO ONE likes it including the teams. But it is what it is and has been for quite a few years now so they just need to buckle up and get into gear.

    Also, Marchment looks like he’d be a serial killer if not a hockey player.

I e been telling Dallas fans rantanen goes quiet in the playoffs he went really quiet for the avs when they won the cup he was no where for most of the series we were just lucky to have crazy depth that year. I feel bad for Dallas thinking they got a playoff player with rantanen they would be better off with stankoven still .
