  1. In the 2nd when the Kings slacked off on pp , hiller got pissed ! Shook up a few players , it carried weight cause it was the first time ! We like passion .

  2. I never would have imagined that we'd turn the tables on those clowns, as far as the Power Play is concerned. The last few years against EDM, THEIR power play was our downfall – it was almost a guaranteed goal. Now, that's us, and our PK has been fantastic.
    LFG!

  3. I really didn’t like Blake’s decisions/acquisition this past off-season and now I’m eating my words… foegs with an incredible season and honestly love edmundson’s play. Missing Tanner’s grit and acquiring Kuzy for a 3rd round pick! I don’t care what unfolds on this Stanley cup run, I’m excited! I literally set a 3:30 am alarm to watch the games here in Germany!

Ohh and Kuemper has been Vezna trophy worthy….

  4. Honestly I think the kings can sweep, I doubt the kings will get rattled by crowd noise, if they just play this same system Edmonton constantly slips up and the Kings capitalize

  5. Oilers play no defense, kings offense is good but not this good, oilers do not have a D structure and that will not change, Kings almost playing power play on every zone entry, guess MCD needs More money to play any D in the D zone, hanging out in the N zone watching kings walk to net over and over good chance his next contract breaks the oilers back….

  6. 11/7 probably the rest of he series, It looked very good last night and kings playing top 4 on D most of the game, just a hint most teams in Playoffs play top 4 almost exclusively, Moverar got 5 minutes at end of game after oil threw in the towel…

  7. Not trying to change the subject, but our captain ended the season with only 4 PIM in 81 games played again this year. Kopi for the Lady Byng for the 3rd time? Love what you do, Eddie. As Kobe once said, "series ain't finished." GKG!

  8. It’s a good start. They had to win the 1st 2 at home to have a chance in the series. They’re next need 2 wins will be the toughest to come bye. GKG!

  9. What A Shocking Unbelievable Upset Win. My Mind Is Still Processing This!!! 6 Goals!!How? Huh? Destiny Is Usually Against This Franchise So Pump The Brakes. Wow. I Amazed With The Statement Win To Line Cooking Kuemper Bounced Up Again With Solid Effort. However Kings Are Still The Underdogs With McDaddy And Dristial Heading To Their Barn. I Expected GUaranteed Wise They Will Tie The Series Since They Came Back Last Season In The Finals. Tonight Celebrate Kings Win Up 2-0 GKG.

  10. The crazy part is that despite how horrendous the Oilers played, they still had a chance in both games in the 3rd periods. If they can somehow fix some of their issues, then it should be a long series.

  11. Wore my black/silver Sandstrom jersey for game 1 (win). Wore my black/purple crown Norstrom jersey for game 2 (win). I'm going to wear my purple/gold Taylor jersey for game 3… GO KINGS GO!

  12. The power play has excelled for three reasons… The addition of 96 creates unpredictability for the opposition. This unit prior to his arrival has been stale for years, which leads me to number two… Getting Doughty off the number one unit was critical.

Despite his Hall of Fame credentials, he’s never been a good quarterback for the power play. He had a tendency to play hot potato with Kopi , back-and-forth before bombing away and missing the net.
Finally, the emergence of Q has been critical and numerous fans were clamoring to get him back on the number one unit in front of the net. The coaching staff finally realized this and here we are, from an absolutely stale and predictable power-play to a system That is on fire.

Then you add the ability for Kempe to play defense on that five man unit and you’re loaded with talent and the ability and speed to get back on attempted shorthanded rushes.

  13. I’m trying to recall the teams from 2012 and 2014, this team has a similar identity but is it just me or do they seem way faster than the teams that won the cup? The offense has an extra gear I don’t remember seeing back then even with the lineup we had
