  1. I just don’t think I’d enjoy being behind the basket rather than watching from the broadcast view… but can’t speak from experience . Want to give it a try

  2. I suppose I'll be the "old man" and say that it's not for me, and watching on TV is just fine. I don't attend live sporting events anyway, so I won't know what I'm missing out on.

  3. Sports is one of the last communal events we still have. This is isolate the spots fan taking something important away from the game. This only works if you can watch a regual season game that you would normal watch alone. I like the thing they have in LA better where you can get a great view but watch with other people.

  4. Im not putting anything like that over my eyes, I don't trust anything from meta,
Im sure people will develope eye issues, headaches from this device, I prefer watching a game in its reality not in cartoon format via meta junk

  5. When I first tried VR on an early Samsung device over 5 years ago, I did a Citi Field walk through. I thought "wow, this will be the future of watching sports". However, the problem is wearing the headset is clumsy and negates any social interaction with those in the room, though augmented reality is something that could change that. Another reason why this may not take off: greed. We all know sports leagues and teams will try to milk every dime out of every consumer. Between XTadium headsets and subscriptions, and the leagues getting their cut ($9.99 per game?), they'll price the technology out of the budgets of most. Widespread VR/AR will likely work for only two markets…gaming and porn.

  6. This reminds me of the 3D tv gimmick in the early 2000s. They were saying how great it would be to watch sports. I bought the TV and the channel but it died quickly. This looks super cool though. Reminds me of Cosm in LA

  7. It might be the safest way to watch the Dodger's live without the Dodger Stadium parking lot experience. Let's just hope they don't add the xbox chat feature.
