  1. Kudos for bringing on someone with better analytic skills on the show and about time someone with sense finally get to speak sense to all the couch gms that never played any meaningful sports a day in their lives. We had a great draft and there's way more upside than not. And watch as soon as the rubber hits the road, all of you meatheads will start switching takes 😂🤦🏾 Shout out to my real ones out here! Who Dey

  2. Simms is definitely a bit unhinged but he’s right about us blindly accepting nerds like Joe Goodberry are the end all authority on roster construction and draft rankings. Our front office has been inept in many ways but blindly believing twitter experts isn’t the answer either

  3. James HATED this pick on draft day and now that Simms likes it, James does? 🤦‍♂️ I liked the pic from the start and James trashed it. He will be a monster for us

  4. While I like Chris Simms, his history doesn't always indicate that he is right more often than not. Hope his assessment and evaluation of the Bengals draft is accurate this time. Either way it was an interesting program and discussion. Who Dey!

  5. I wanna say just for clarity, you still wouldn't be able to catch, but maybe one thing if i covered you on 1000 routes and that's disappointment in abundance. Lol love ya James!

  6. Will Joe Burrow restructure his contract to allow for keeping Trey Hendrickson?! The Bengals can't lose Trey to keep the window open for any SB contention..

  7. Was there a better LB that the Bengals could have taken at 49? If there was, that's who they should have took. The Bengals were looking for Defense first. Then look at the guards they did get. I really have no problems with who they took. I think Al Golden is going to help coach those guys up and they KNOW it. They are looking at a Super Bowl square in the face. So everyone needs to quit the whining and get on board and support these guys. Look, these are YOUNG HUMAN BEINGS who have a great opportunity and who knows, maybe for the next few years. I just hope they can work some magic and be super creative with plays and stunts and situation substitutions, etc. and they deliver a GREAT SEASON!! Mr. Simms is absolutely CORRECT!

  8. Enjoy James while we have him here at CBT… He’s either destined for fox, espn, etc or being the voice of the bengals like a Latham or Dan Hoard. Great coverage per usual!

  9. The combo of Stewart and Knight is a great combo if you watch the film…. Stewart can disrupt the play by making the QB roll out and Knight was great at closing the moment the QB stepped out in his direction and make the tackle. QB goes the other way and there is Trey ready to eat…Chris is right

However, I still didn't like the pick and still am not excited about the pick.

I am not bashing the Bengals for taking the players I wanted them to take. Just would have preferred Campbell or Swessinger in the 1st and Ratledge in the 2nd…Safety in the 3rd Winston or Watt and Fairchild in the 4th.

Can't argue with improving the Defense they way they did though.

  10. That is true he didn't see many 1v1 in college, they could double him and he was so strong and quick twitched he could move both men when double teamed

  11. I tend to agree with Sims, I hope he's right. I feel very similar!!! I'm all about Knight also, I don't think he would've been available in the 3rd, I love how he takes out screen plays in his highlights he seems to have really good. Prat was really good with Wilson for a while, but I don't think they were ever erasing screen plays like Knight was in his highlights!!! I like Carter also. I just didn't look into him before the draft it feels like they'll be able to cover more field to me.

  12. What’s funny about this James is everyone likes to say Hendrickson isn’t a top guy he just gets sacks but don’t impact the game like the other top guys you almost just have to laugh everyone has some type of criticism about every player we have one guy who has the production one guy who don’t neither seem to be good enough according to the experts 🤣

  13. James you were so taken aback by Chris and his assertions about both are first round pick and our second round pick!!! Which by the way you didn’t like very much at all either one!!! so, how do you feel after those conversations?

  14. I effing love it!!! “ I think as fans we don’t need to be know it all’s all the time” lmao I’ll bet you that rubbed some people wrong
