  1. Send da Cancun postcard

Maybe the Lakers can find a center there

  2. Incredible hate watch, Gobert masterclass and Luka was a CONE on defense and was attacked almost every possession

  3. 7/47 from the 3 for the Wolves and somehow they still won the game.

  4. Gobert finally realized there’s literally no centers on the Lakers

  5. Reaves got exposed hard this series what a nightmare game 5 from him

  6. No shot Jaxson Hayes is THAT bad to the point where he doesn’t see the floor during Goberts career best game

Edit: this is fun bc I have half the replies saying JJ sold by not playing him and the other saying he is the worst player to ever touch a basketball

  7. Lakers really could have used a big… Just spitballing here, but someone like Anthony Davis could be a good fit.

  8. FUCK THE RUDY HATERS

THERE ARENT MANY LAKES IN LA

    ESPN EXPERTS 0-11

*forcing someone to rewatch that game would be torture. It felt like a funeral in the arena and I wouldn’t think anyone on that floor had ever shot a basketball if I didn’t know the players… but they don’t ask how, they ask how many*

  9. The Wolves shot worse from three tonight (7-47) than the Rockets team who missed 27 consecutive 3s (7-44).

The fact that they still won that game with that and with the less than perfect officiating is just crazy. They were truly a substantially better team.

  10. Sending home Bron in the playoffs is something I never expected to see, good day to be a Timberwolves fan

  11. LeBron and Luka were nowhere to be found in the 4th. A combined 8 points. Injuries or not, that’s laughably bad in an elimination game.

  12. Rudy Gobert dropping a near 30 20 game to close the series was not in my bingo book

  13. Rudy Gobert just sent LeBron and Luka home on their own floor. r/nba nightmare scenario.

  14. Not even viagra could replicate what Nico is experiencing right now

  15. Why is Gabe Vincent taking a contested 3 down 6 with 45 seconds left in an elimination game?

  16. Now that’s playoff basketball. Terrible offense, 48 minutes of refball. Rudy Dominating. This is what the people wanted.

  17. “Many people are saying Rudy Gobert the greatest center in NBA history. Some are saying basketball history, even.”

  18. The loudest Lakers fans got all game was during their “refs you suck” chant

  19. Winning 3 straight and finishing off LA on the road was never going to be easy. A lot of adversity this game and self inflicted wounds but we pulled it out.

Doesn’t feel as good as finishing Phoenix or Denver right now, but that was a damn impressive WOLVES IN 5

  20. Rudy Gobert was the best player on the court that had LeBron, Luka, Edwards, Randle.

Yes, you read that right. Legacy game!!

  21. Reggie is so confidently wrong so often I swear dude watches the game through a straw

  22. I forgive Rudy Gobert for that whole Covid thing. If that’s what needed to happen, this was worth it.

  23. Saved by playoff Randle and Gobert, just as the entire world expected.

  24. I think a lot of us Lakers fans were delusional thinking about Luka and LeBron overcoming the issues that the Lakers have in the Playoffs.

The Wolves’ defense straight up bullied us. We looked shook — couldn’t get into sets, couldn’t run in transition, and every possession felt scrambled. No poise at all. Just erratic basketball the whole way, and that’s 100% because of how physical and locked in the Wolves were.

No center, no fast break points, no bench spark. Just a mess.

    GG Wolves.

  25. i’m taking julius randle over the gorilla fr this mf might be the goat

  26. r/nba turned into r/lakers for a good two month. now we can discuss the actually good teams with a chance to win the title

  27. It was hilarious seeing Luka and LeBron try to iso Gobert in the perimeter and not making anything

  28. Reaves and JJ really folded this series. I know we didn’t have enough but Reaves was so bad and JJ made some really questionable decisions.

    Good job, Wolves. Good luck.

  29. Before the series: “Luka is going to play Gobert off the court”

Final game of the series: Gobert has the game of his life and sends the Lakers home

  30. Minnesota, of all teams, handing the Lakers their first ever first-round playoff series loss in franchise history as a 3-seed or higher.

I’m so fucking here for it get rekt, Lakers.
