NHL Game 6 Highlights | Golden Knights vs. Wild – May 1, 2025
Saturday set to rock and roll here in St. Paul. Pierre Lambear and Gourd Dwire the referees. Beon Mills and Devin Berg will work the lines and all the big boys are on the ice to begin. Go for a change as does Vegas. Some speed through the neutral zone. Backhander on goal. Victor Olivesson gets the shot away and the quick tester for Philip Gustoson. Looks like an easy out for Minnesota. Those never are as Gust Nyquist got a second chance at it. Nyquist was the player offside. Here he is on side. He gets the shot away and Aiden Hill had to be ready for that in the high bumper. Stone got it across. Olison trying to go back door and he just shot it wide. Here’s Theodore. Off for Olivesson now. Gets it back for Theodore. Wrist shot. Score. Shay Theodore of a power play. lights the lamp for Vegas. And if the crowd was concerned to begin with, there’s even more of that. They’re worried about the one-t Theodore has time just to walk down. Stone does a great job in front of Gustoson as well, taking his eyes away. You can see all the time Theodore has heads up the entire way. Just picks that top corner. It’s a great angle. Gus’s leaning to his left, looking around Stone. Nicholas Wah got it down for Smith for Hannifan. Carlson now that shot through traffic very similar to the puck that went in that time. Gustin able to make the save. Michael backhand spins away goes to the forehand gets away from Begoian. Got it all the way across for Petrangelo finds Theodore through traffic. Augustus in the glove save and no rebound. That sounds like a lot of talent. You’re not mistaken. When I asked Cassidy about it, he said he wouldn’t commit to just how long they’d be together because they all can for Nyquist. Goes through everyone. Here’s Rossy now. Back to the point for Faber. Walks the line. Lets the go. Hits off the post. Golden opportunity for Brock Faber. Right back the other way. That shot is stopped. Brandon Sod coming down. Short hand. Now does good job walking there. Sad doesn’t stay with him. He thinks there’s going to be a switch up top that opens up the lane, but he hits the post. Then side comes back the other way. Middleton in Treadan. They’ll go back the other way. Here’s Eel. Leaves for Stone. Makes the move. Here’s Carlson. Back hands towards the net and gloved down by Guso. Had goals in three straight games in this series. Minnesota jumps on Moose Jed in front. Unbelievable chance. Felo can’t believe he didn’t get there. There was contact as he was shooting it. Hannifan might have saved the day there. trying to put a push on here. It’s going to be FO on the back door. Kolasar finishes his hit as he does every time. Here’s Baldi. He’s got a step on Theodore trying to cut in. Baldi gets a shot. Loose puck in front. Middleton following up. Stopped by Aiden Hill. Clean faceoff win. Erikson X so good at those. Shot by Faber. Got knocked down. Loose puck in front. Baldi couldn’t pick up the change and Aiden Hill had to be ready for that. Felo gets it back to the point. Look all the way down. Centered in front. Loose puck. Felo got another shot. Aiden Hill. Another save. Here’s Nicholas Wah behind the net trying to set up. Bag goan trying to chase him down. Hey, the shot. Loose puck side of the net. Close call there. Arguably the top tandem offensively in these Stanley Cup playoffs. Both for five goals. Tied for the league lead. That shot. No traffic in front. Hill’s going to stop that every time. Here’s Baldi looking for the stick and finds it. Zukarelloo. Baldi on it there. Try to center. Good strong work by Hurdle in his own end. Back from Middleton. Swings it across. Here’s Spurgeon on the backand. Hops on Middleton over a stick. Able to recover though. A couple times here for Minnesota, those passes are bouncing on him. They can’t connect. Here’s Brandon Sod. Got a step back hand. He’s in. Big save. Philip Gustoson. Unbelievable offensive skills, presence, vision. That shot just missed the mark. Wraparound opportunity. Here’s Pearson. Got the shot away. Gustoson made the save. Here’s Zukarella. Spins. Gives it to Felo with some speed through Hartman. Felo will stay on it. Back behind the net. Hatin will chase him down. Final eight seconds of period number one. Quick one timer shot to [Applause] score. Hartman gets it to go and Minnesota ties it with four seconds left in the first period. Cycling the puck and creating plays from behind the net. It’s Felo going to use his big body create some space from Hannneathan and Hartman just pops into that soft area. one times this puck. It’s almost a floater in change up on Hill as he can’t see it coming in. It’s Whitecloud who’s defending Zukarella is right in front of [Applause] him and they hope it’s in about a week from now. Game three of the next round of the playoffs. Underway. Vegas in white. Wild in the green. Shot in and right away Philip Gustoson has to steer it away to the corner. Michael trying to dig it free from Favor. Stone was double team. Nearly came away with the puck anyway. And Capriov looking to break on Theodore had a step. Good job by Shay Theodore able to stay with it. Bulby sets up the one-time from Spurgeon is stopped by Aiden Hill. And a good tester there looked like he was trying to set it up for the one-time. Didn’t let it go. Now the wrist shot is stopped and good rebound control as Hill pumps it to the corner. Here’s Baldi now. Wild is set up well here. Baldi thinking about the shot able to get the deflection from Erikson EC but Hill never had the move. Puck squirts free. Here’s Spurgeon the crossro lets it go. Good job Aiden Hill top of his crease cutting down the angle and no rebound. He’s got the puck down low. Well, here’s Stone. Centers high slot. Theodore missed the mark. Close quarters there. Here’s Stone. Net front presence. Goes hard to the net. Knocked aside. Gustoson. Big save there. And doing it in Las Vegas where he remains one of the maybe the most popular Golden Knight in their brief franchise history. He is beloved. Here’s Eel. Forehand, backhand, forehand. Score. Jack Eel puts Vegas on top with his first goal of the series and it comes with 348 to play in the second. One chance’s been quiet all game and Stone just does a great little area chip pass out of the reach of Capri off. You saw Eel had a step little backhand to forehand under the glove Augustus. A nice little feather pass there from Stone as Eel shows off the Mets to take the 2-1 lead. his first of the series, but he’s heating up at the right time. So maybe one last period of Minnesota Wild Hockey and maybe one last period in the NHL for goender Mark Andre Flurry in his outstanding career in his 21st NHL season led them to the Stanley Cup and Vegas Golden Knights when they won and long rangy decor that physicality through the seven game series. Capri stop feathers it through shot is stopped. Hartman got the opportunity. Another great scoring chance for Minnesota. And then it was Hartman. Nice pass there from Capri off, but Hill stops it. Theodore looks to set things up. Finds Eel off for Stone. Stone to the front trying to jam it home. Knocked aside by Gust. Held the post. A couple big saves on this penalty kill. This is a strong move by Stone trying to use his reach to go far side. Carlson back to the point now. Theodore wrists one through traffic. Stop. Eel had an empty net and fann on the shot twice. He went down to block it. Eel could have ended the game there. Another life for the Minnesota Wild. That shot deflected by Mark Stone out of midair. And it’s a twogoal lead for the Golden Knights. And that might be the end of the Wild. But Vegas continues to pressure as McNav throws this in front of the net. Stone does a great job body position on Baldi and knocks that puck out of midair behind Gustin. What hand eye coordination, a little butt play in front. Middleton trying to squeeze through. Everybody’s back in a white sweater now. Collision in front. Loose puck side of the net. Hill knocked around and they score. Hartman with a second effort. Don’t go anywhere. Ryan Hartman has scored again and it’s a onegoal game with 327 left to play in regulation. What a response here from the Minnesota Wild. Get the puck deep, get pucks to the net as their season’s on the line. And Hartman with a hard wrap as Hill just can knock it over. With traffic in front, his stick gets tied up with Johansson. Get there. Neither could Capri off. Zukarella goes back. Faber lets it fly. Another shot block that time by Stone. And another shot block. One second left and the horn will sound and that will end it. The Vegas Golden Knights hang on.
Mark Stone and Jack Eichel each tallied a goal and an assist, while Adin Hill stopped 29 of 31 shots faced on the night as their Vegas Golden Knights pulled off a 3-2 win against the Minnesota Wild, ending the series in six games.

Damn that was an awesome game!!!
Despite the knights barely scraping by the Wild, they are going to be a dangerous team in the west. Although they were very unconvincing at times, they still closed the series out. That’s what winning teams do.
Everytime I watch Eichel he amazes me. The guy is so effective.
Death, taxes and the mild losing in round one.
As long as they have to pay for Suter and Parise's buyout, it's hard to fathom an improvement for Minnesota… Which is unfortunate.
Stones pass was so beautiful
Folino was in the crease, in the blue paint, without being shoved in so that 2nd Minnesota goal should have been disallowed.
After 10 years, you get used to it. May Vegas bring the extra TV ratings Bettman craves.
Jack is so big time for Vegas.
Thank you Wild for an awesome season!!
Печально , я ждал большего от дикарей , грустно .
Too bad….
I was rooting for the good guys.
Hey, ESPN, aren't you a national broadcast?
Great game Man do I love Hockey!!!! As a Sabres fan, the only playoffs I get to see are these other awesome teams going at it. Wild put up a helluva fight, but Vegas is just too good.
Parise and Suter lost the Wild that series.
Can you please show the penalties that lead to the powerplays
Bye bye bye wild….nice to see them out. 😂
Wow, Stone was a monster tonight. That goal was amazing. And the pass.
Hartman deserves to lose….
YES! We're playing better now. I didn't know Eichel had been scoreless.
Все вместе сказали большое спасибо Морку Роси , за ненужное удаление.
И как так можно играть ,где характер где воля к победе надо было биться до конца , одно разочерование ….😢
Wild 2026 Stanley Cup.
Get with it.. AVS
VIVA VGK⚔️
Vegas were the better team, but I thought they were disappointing especially early in the series. Still they got the job done but gees Minnesota gave it everything and losing in 6 seems harsh.
Hill had a great game and showed he can still bring the A game when needed. The vintage Vegas clamp down in period 3 was encouraging to watch. Hats off to the Wild, they exposed some issues we need to address going forward for sure
Минесоте место в ахл
sad the series is already finished, Knights turned to be so powerful
Farewell Marc-Andre Fleury. The Hockey Hall of Fame awaits you.
Best of luck against Edmonton, Vegas.
The leafs do a good job with distracting people in their struggles of winning playoff series but the wild now haven’t been past the first round since 2015.
Adan Hill played a great game. Also Gustafsson played well. A tough match.
Вегас 👌👌👌
What a shocker – the Wild get bounced in the first round. Nobody could have seen that coming right? Oh wait – never mind, all of Minnesota saw that coming.
Gg to the Wild. You guys have an amazing team really had me stressing during this series
wheel of excuses spinning wild in Minnesota.
Stone and Eichel finally warmed up and getting on the scoreboard.
Bad news for Oilers.
Sorry. Another krappy American play-by-play team …
everybody hated that
great serie GG´s to both teams.
Уфии… Было напряжённо 😋 VEGAS👯💵🍸 😎🧦🤗 Жаль… Лос-Анджелес… проиграл 😒
