But, let’s get to this one between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Philadelphia Phillies sending out Aaron Nola for the start in this one, while the Diamondbacks will counter with Brandon F. And this matchup features two pitchers that have have pretty much gone in different directions to start the season. Uh last time out for Nola, it was his first, I would say, really good start of the season. Seven innings of one-run ball. Gave up three hits, had six strikeouts. He didn’t get the win though, and it was a little bit unlucky for Aaron Nola. You know, it was a 3 to one victory for the Phillies, but it came in extra innings. So, Nola still 0 and5 on the year. Meanwhile, Brandon fought 5-1 on the year, a 2.78 RA. He’s only had one rough outing on the road against the Nationals. six innings, a four-run ball, gave up three home runs in that start. But over his last four outings, he’s made it into the sixth inning in each of those starts. Finished six full in three of the four. And granted, all three of those were at home, but the one on the road, five and two/3 innings, a one-run ball against the Miami Marlins. Had fought, got that last out against Miami, he’d have five quality starts in six outings this season and could go six for six if he didn’t give up the fourth run against the Nationals. But, you know, as much as I, you know, don’t, you know, love fought on the road and just thinking, you know, that this, uh, this Arizona Diamondback team the last two weeks against righties hasn’t been as strong, it’s virtually, it feels virtually impossible for me to back Aaron Nola until he really starts to show consistent signs of being able to put it all together. Nola is one of the least profitable pitchers in baseball this season as there’s only about 11 pitchers ahead of him that are, you know, winning or losing you more money this season. If you bet bet 100 bucks on the Phillies in each of Nola’s six starts this year, you’re down 390 bucks. We’re only six starts into the season for Nola. And like I said, just gets extremely hard, you know, to back him at that point. And on the other side though, on the flip side, you’ve got Brandon FO who has been, you know, been printing money this season. You up 275 bucks if you back the Diamondbacks in each of FO starts. Now, these are also two teams with very, very shaky bullpens as of late. But I will say I think Arizona’s bullpen has been slightly better. You know, a 3.79 RA in the last two weeks is around league average, while Philly still has a bullpen RA over five in that same twoe time frame. And I just think that the Diamondbacks have the better starter in this matchup. I think the the lineups are about even. I don’t I still don’t trust Aaron Nola. I think they have the bullpen edge, too. It’s still crazy for me to say that about the Arizona Diamondbacks, but I really think they do. So, I’m going to go with the Diamondbacks here at Plus Money, and that’s going to be my free pick.
