Not going to lie. THIS HURT.
I had the chance to attend “In the Crease with Carey Price”, a special event where fans got up close with the legendary goaltender himself! In this video, I share what it was like seeing Carey in person and reflect on what he means to the Montreal Canadiens. I also dive into the Habs’ recent exit interviews following another early end to their play off run, and talk about what the future might hold — including tough decisions ahead, potential roster changes, and which players might not be re-signed for next year. Big questions are looming for the Canadiens… let’s break it all down.

My first car was a 1964 Dodge Dart GT, 2dr hrd tp!
Sad that I missed that event. Didn't know about it, and it was right here in my home city. Carey is my 2nd favorite hockey player ever (P.Roy being 1st). His story is very inspirational and I hope the best for him and his future.
How 'bout that Avs/Stars game eh? WOW!
I usually watch your videos, but after my Leafs laid an egg in game 5 I avoided all hockey content till game 6 started. I just did not want to hear the choke demons. Good to see you're doing good tho! Keep it up!
I don't see anything but bright sides for the next few years. The Canadiens deserved to be there this year – but no one deserves anything in the playoffs. It's just hard-fought and earned.
It's a rare thing to see players buying into the room like they have with Montreal. Seeing Jake Evans re-sign this year only reinforced the suspicion I had when Gallagher re-signed in 2020. Despite how crazy the press can be in hockey towns, there seems to be a good culture in the Habs organization and no one would argue that they would be a real fun town to play for.
I loved watching Carey Price's career – that was very cool event. I'm just glad the man is still standing and can smile and have a laugh about his experience. Carey has definitely earned a place among the likes of Roy, Dryden, Plante and Red-Light Racicot. : )
Cheers, man.
Your Bronco rocked. Wish I had a car.
Armia and Dvorak want to stay but they will have demands for their contracts too. I think Armia will be back but Dvorak will receive better offers from other teama.
Love ya bud❤
Armia needs to stay his effort in the ploffs was noticed.
Watching the Habs this season was exhausting. Not as exhausted as the players seemed towards the end, emotionally and physically. Obviously they need to get bigger and more experienced, but that's next season. We will see some players come and go which will be interesting. Good season, good progression and the future looks bright 😎
Expect Reinbacher to take Savard’s empty spot . He looked really good in Laval and some analysts even say he looks too good for the AHL .
Dvorak and Armia probably won’t get renewed if they plan on giving guys like Bech and Florian a shot .
Biggest question marks are on Dach , Laine and finding a second line center for Demidov .
Marner would be pretty epic but also very heavy on salary cap .
Long summer of work ahead for Hughes and Gorton .
First car…1986 VW Fox manual transmission 4 door hatchback with a hockey stick holding up the rear door while camping. Laine… tape it up. Not a playoff player by any means. Savard… a beast who should be looked up to as a true hockey warrior regardless of injuries. Slav… tell the media to f'**k off. He's 19 years old. None of them have ever played professionally and are all couch couches. Price…Slainte!!
My first car was a Dodge Omni 87 light blue
Honestly, I think the turning point was losing Monty. I think the next game they lost their edge and changed the way they were playing.
This season was incredible, the playoff run was tense and full of emotions. A lot of guys got better. E.g. Slaf played last 20-30 matches without bad givaway passes or def mistakes like that. Nick was crazy good, Lane too. It was fun to watch and I will remember this season for a long time. I'm courious how the next season gonna be. And of course, thanks for all the videos and details you provided. Great work and great channel.

I'm pretty sure not joining the world championship was mostly Juraj's decision and not one made by "the team". They just played it out that way so he does not get all the hate from the country. Even though that is hard to avoid as everyone puts high expectations on him to pull the weight, which is unfair.
Thx for all of this man, also great information coming out in this video, as always youre the man. For me, it will be a long summer without them and I have to say that finding your channel made that final stretch a really good time, you add the extra sauce in our experience with the habs. I was one of the fan that was only hoping they made those playoffs, no matter if they win a single round or not. I know as you said you don't want to blame the refs and I was ok with that, but have you heard about that refs who gambled money against Montreal while referring? This as no place in sports, we were so close for a couple of games, without this refs maybe we would have won some easier game that makes all the difference. He lost his job forever I think, I don't know if it is criminal, but it is certainly not allowed.
thx for everything, next season will be a hell of a ride with you and the community!
Bright future yes, but let’s be honest here. The first two games were stolen by the refs. No Stockholm syndrome please.
Mikko Rantanen 4 – Colorado Avalanche 3! Mackinnon merchant they said. Who's laughing now. I really hope Armia can stay. He's my boy. He's from the same city I live in. All the best from Finland!
I always feel when the Habs are out, my interest in the playoffs goes to 50%. When the last Canadian Team is out it goes to virtually zero. Go Leafs/Oilers/Jets
I would Arber to the forward position with his brother Florian at center and Armia on the other wing.
I'm from.st John wanted to go but sold out to quick
They're sooo young. MSL is giving them all the right instruction. They need the time and the routine to turn it into muscle memory. Then they be overcome by neves, because they don't have to think, just act.
My first rig was a 1994 Toyota 4-Runner. Was only a 4 cylinder motor with on a huge frame and it drank the gas.
Go Habs Go!
An Audi 100 bro
Are you acadian?
My first car was a Ford Granada, deep red, loved it 🙂
1st car for me was a 1979 4 door Pontiac Lemans brown on brown. 267ci v8.
Why are there suggestions that Slaf needs to “use his body” more, when he leads the team in hits?
I guess it’s merely adding in the “driving to the net” aspect ?
Even though he can’t be in two places at once …winning board battles AND also driving to the net
First car was a 1968 Triumph Spitfire mk3….tiny little car that i absolutely loved and still miss it. Traveling from ThunderBay to Elliot lake in the winter was truly difficult when hitting the ‘hill’ by Lake Superior in the winter because the car was so light….go Habs go…
The sting has subsided, Habs took two steps forward man, proud of this team and happy to have found this channel man, looking forward to next season. First car was a Ford Ranger truck that I drove into the ground as a dumb 18 year old 😅. Keep up the great work man!
First car was literally the same you showed: Renault 5 (Le Car) in white. Manual transmission and an actual choke you needed to use to start the car.
1984 Toyota Corolla SR5 Coupe. Didn’t quite have enough and borrowed $500 from my mémé 😇🙏 to get it. Pop up headlights, 5 speed manual transmission, 12 pack of beer and a jigsaw and put in a sun roof. Ah the memories! Great after season video, thanks!!
I am very disappointed with Slafkovsky. I was hoping that he would represent our country and see him play at the World Cup.
Let's hope Slaf watched that game by Raantanan
I love your comment on the referees. I agree completely. Referees didn’t steal the series, Washington won it. I still believe officiating is inconsistent and not at the level of excellence that the league believes. I sometimes think they are looking for and calling whatever the talked about before the game and are missing more obvious calls. I wonder if the game is just to fast for this old style officiating. For me it parallels the lack of accountability we have for traffic regulations. We regularly drive over the speed limits, run orange lights and demonstrate a lack of understanding of the basic rules of driving respectfully. 😊
I hope well get to see a few whiskey videos during the off-season as well!
Have to keep Armia-Evans together. He won't cost much
Are you a gamer? Your background music sounds like Zelda 😅. Love your videos man! Habs will win the cup soon 🙏🏻🙏🏻
You are correct that some us may be more into the team than the sport – I myself am much more a Montreal fan than a hockey fan and I care about two things – that Montreal wins and Toronto loses.
'65 Valiant named Dinah-Moe-Humm.
What a great episode. I really enjoyed also including Price in here. What Price has went through and his love of the game and his growth is something very good to share.
Now is the time to be patient. They may not make the playoffs next year and that's fine. Still a lot a youth coming in next year and the team will still be one of the youngest in the league. Hughes has to keep an eye out for a veteran 2c but let the opportunity come and not force a bad trade. I was watching Danault in LA and that is just the type needed ( not him absolutely but just as a type). Solid vet that can play 2c for a year or two and be ready to slide to 3c as talent comes in.
A BIG man offers an explanation (no apology needed) for opinions offered. Ref commentary was fair- no need to clarify. If they don't want to hear it, then address the issue – for all teams. Change can only happen when brave people speak out.
Oh and I immediately went looking for Carey speeches near me… No luck yet!
Have a great summer😊
…Have a great summer.
I was gonna sub but then I noticed you were alredy at 13,300 so……
(kidding subbing anyway)
MSL cannot coach defense, no wonder Arber is confused on the ice. It's because MSL doesn't have a clue how to coach the D-Men and 3 years of his coaching has given us a team that cannot get the puck out of their own end when they are under pressure. MSL will never lead this team to a Cup. Bring Pascal up from Laval and make him the coach. He knows how to coach defense, and offense!
I don’t know what’s up with Montreal reporters and Slav but they’re always trying to trigger him… Leave him alone you gossipy c@#%ts.
Oilers fan here: Montreal fans and players should be proud! Next year hoping yall have more success!!!
The problem with Slav is that he's not getting better, he's not progressing. It used to be the team's philosophy that in order for a young player, who had potential, to progess was to send them to the minors first. That way, they could learn what was going to be expected of them and they could take one step at a time. This is what happens when you take that same player and put him in the NHL right away. He has been the best player on every team he has ever played for since he was 10 years old. It's the CONFIDENCE that takes such a beating and is hard to retain. On the other hand, even the great Guy Lafleur regressed (by stats alone) his first 3 seasons and then scored 53 goals in his 4th year….so anything is possible.
I knew a few people that went to this event! They said Carey Price was an amazing guy
