The Bucks are done.
So, after last season, the Bucks played this Pacers team in the first round without Giannis, without Dame. The Bucks lost the Bucks lost in six games. And now the Bucks season has been ended. We thought the Bucks had it in the bag, up eight with 40 seconds to go. Instead, they lose in five games in a series where Giannis was healthy the whole way and pretty dominant the entire way. What do we make of that? Pretty much what I made the entire time. It’s pretty much a wrap. When you traded Batman for the worst player in the NBA, when you traded Chris Middleton, who had 42 points in one game against this team, averaged 269 and five after averaging 14 for the regular season. Every playoffs he was the biggest riser in the entire league. And you traded him. And you got a guy who through five games, four of them in which he started, had a total of 44 points, rebounds, and assists combined. In five games, he had 44 points, rebounds, and assists. If you add it all up, Chris Middleton had 42 points in one game. Chris Middleton averaged more almost as many points, rebound assist in one game that Koozma had in five. And I mean the story of the season out I mean outside of the torn Achilles it pretty much just comes down to that you can’t win when you have someone as bad as Kyle Koosma on your team. Um even if it’s for 13 minutes we lose his minute his minutes the Bucks go into overtime. Don’t put him out there. Maybe instead of losing by one, even if it was just you tied. Okay. Well, then if you tie those 13 minutes, then you end up winning by one instead of going to overtime. But every single time lose with Gizmo on the floor. And that was basically it. And then when Dames Achilles, there was just no shot of being able to overcome the recklessness. I mean, there’s a lot of bad decisions that have been made over the years that have led to this situation from Brook Lopez being held on to and held on to and then held on to again with Bobby Poris being his backup. Two of the worst defending big men in the league, uh, especially outside of the paint for Brook Lopez. But both of them, um, it’s just now at the trade deadline got a third big that can even move his feet somewhat, Jericho Sims. for years they didn’t have even that relying on guy on a minimum deal Gary Trent Jr. to be your savior because you traded Chris Milton and you um went and got Kyle Kosma dame to Achilles and you even have master classes shooting wise from Gary and AJ Green and still can’t overcome it because John Horst I guess wanted Kenny Atinson. John Horse is a clown, but Jimmy Hasslam refu refused to hire Kenny Atinson and decided to hire industry plant Doc Rivers who because Gary Trent Jr. had a bad 10 games to start the year, benched him and never let him back into the starting five when pretty much all season going into the season during the season it was pretty clear the best four players were Dame Chris Middleton when he was on the team Gary and Giannis and yet because Gary struggled for 10 games to start the year you got to ride the bench the don’t not ride the bench you got to be on the bench the rest of the season when you’re clearly better than stinking Torian Prince and Andre Jackson and Kyle Kosma. Oh no, you need to be coming off the bench. Chris Middleton. Oh, because you were playing through ankle injuries last postseason, averaging 269 and five, pushing this Pacers team to six games. Oh, but you’re kind of like slow recovering back from the ankle surgery. The first few games back you haven’t been dominating, so you also have to go to the bench. took till game five to have a starting five. That made some type of sense and this is what you get. Um blown lead. I don’t even know what to make of it. Gary fell apart, but I mean like I said, guy in a minimum deal hit eight threes. He shouldn’t the ball shouldn’t be in his hands that situation. But with Jame to Achilles and them trading away Chris Middleton, that’s what you’re left with. Kevin Porter Jr. It’s a great pickup, but a guy you trust in a big moment like this? Nope. Not at all. And so I wish I had more to say. I wish I had more to make of it, but um it’s going to be a wild off seasonason. I’ll tell you that much. Uh there’s no positive way I could spin it. I don’t know where the Bucks go this off season. you either end up trading Giannis and then you’re not good and then you don’t even have your own draft picks to take advantage of tanking by getting rid of Giannis and then you either do that or you keep Giannis and that’s part’s great but you have Kyle Kosma under contract for 45 million over the next two years and then you have Dame for 55 million on the torn Achilles next season and then you have no picks you don’t an AJ Johnson to throw in to sweeten trades. I don’t know what to make of it at this point. Um, obviously you fire Doc Rivers. Obviously, Jimmy Hlam selling the team could help get this team turned back in the right direction. That’s part of the reason why I really can’t even like stamp the trade Giannis stuff because does anybody believe in Jimmy Hlam to lead any type of rebuild? I don’t trust him. He couldn’t even ma maintain what the Bucks had when he got there, which was a contender. So, sell the team. That’s my main takeaway. That’s the reason we have Doc Rivers. Probably the reason we had Chris Milton traded for Koozma. I wish I had more energy left in me, but I’m just beat. But sell the team is my major takeaway. Let me know what I should have been talking about. Drop a comment, hit that like, and subscribe if you want to do that.

Fire Doc grab Malone Resign KPJ Gary Sims Trade Brook Bobby if anyone can do it Horst can we will be backš¦ #Bucksin6
Thank you for the great coverage this year, Barrett. True mvp. AJ Green fans like I appreciate you
Bucks need to trade Giannis to force another team to take Kuzma he is THAT BAD
Discovered your channel at the deadline. And loved watching you this season. Honestly I donāt think Gianniās leaves. After watching the press conference I just donāt see it
Trade everyone except Giannis
Fucking love you big dawg, thank you for everything you've done for us, appreciate you forever & ever & ever.
You are silly and loss a sub.
Support Pacers makes me happy for consecutive years.
If the Lakers did lose in the 1st round, the NBA will intervene once again and send Giannis Straight to the Lakers to Save Lebron's Legacy just like how they did to AD & Luka…. I'm calling it
Giannis ain leaving, fix the coaching and you fix the culture. Run it back.
worried about your basketball mental health rn
just say at least you're not a suns fan
On a good note. Aj green and Gary very obviously shouldāve been starters a longggg time ago.
Genuinely do the bucks just have to trade Giannis? They already have over 50 mil for Dame who wonāt play next season
As a pacers fan, I hope yāall can exercise the demon that is doc rivers from the nba for good now. Best wishes for Dame and Giannis both coming back strong for yall
Trent leads us to victory then defeat, Giannis gets showed up by Haliburton – great game till last 45 seconds when rivers should have put fresh players in, trent giannis looked on empty
Rivers should have been fired last season, turn a 31-13 high offense team into no score defense losing team beyond bad coaching
This heartbreak hurt like that Game 5 vs Heat game š¢ from the bottom of my heart thank you for covering this season Barrett. This channel is the best place to go for bucks info ⤠Kia kaha
its all Doc, we easily win this series without doc
Khris got shut down 3 weeks after the trade. He had the same
Knee injury. Wouldnt be able to afford the guys we got in the deadline and would be over second apron. None of the other assests wouldve worked for the kuzma trade. Middleton isnt a good defender anymore and is turnover machine and is inconsitent since 2021.
Bucks win that game if Gary holds onto the ball.
Bucks management fucked us.
Canāt blame Khris, but you also canāt blame Giannis. He was playing his ass off.
Genuinely had to play perfect with this team to win it all but doc, kuz trade, and dame injury screwed us
Pacers are a solid team, I would have loved for the rivalry to have been better but consider our owner owns the Brown too, I canāt say I expected much in terms of leadership. Bucks fans, especially long term, have always been loyal to the franchise and deserve better.
If Doc isn't fired this offseason, the Bucks aren't serious about winning. HE HAS TO GO š«
(especially with the likes of Mike Malone/Mike Brown/Taylor Jenkins available)
Idk about yall but I love Jericho sims. Like he grabs boards can move his feet and jump out of the gym and thatās all we ask of him. He doesnāt really need a jumpshot but it wouldnāt hurt for him to try to try to get one? Idk I just love his game I hope we keep him around
Chris is not Batman. I wish you were still here. Sad. That is not here. But he's not Batman.
Have to completely disagree with almost this entire segment. Sounds like pure raw emotion getting in the way of logic. Middleton is one of if not the main reason why these Bucks dont have another chip and should've been traded 2-3 years ago when he still had value. His injury cost us at least one chip. Pretty much useless for 2 years straight. Blabbing on about him getting 42 points dont mean shit, its one freakn game dude and kinda pointless debating that now.
Giannis is an all-time great, cant advocate trading him unless he wants out. The ownership/management has to go.
I mean we put in a good effort in game 5 but we sold 1,2,4 so tuff man losing to the pacers again man š¢
Did I just see what I thought? I just saw yes. That was a doc rivers production that was a trash Milwaukee, buck season. I think it started 2 & 8, and let's be honest, they were never a threat to do anything this is all on the G. M. In 4 short years since the championship, this team can't even get out of a first round series three years in a row stop with the excuses. I saw miami heat teams be injured and make it to the n b a finals. This has been a debacle since we fired, bud, if you want to keep it šÆ In the last nine years, 2019 /21 were the only two seasons where we even challenged for a championship
Can Giannis adapt to more perimeter movement and cutting? The bucks offense has been Giannis drive, perimeter shooters stand still, and last resort desperate isolation. Itās been going on since Bud and Jrue were in Milwaukee. Nobody talks about that. Bucks canāt win another title with that style of offense, and defensively they are a joke at this point.
Didn't come down to the torn Achilles bro. A better chance with Lillard but you gotta give pacers credit.
The reality of this year was we were an aging team with Jrue and Middleton, Now we are younger but we have less experience, which we got this year.āÆāÆ
Keep:
Giannis 30
Dame 34 (I'd listen to offers)
Gary Trent Jr 26
KPJ 24
AJ Green 25
Sims 26
Bobby 29
OPEN to moving on from:
Brook 37
Pat 32
TP 31
Kuzma 29
Livingston 21
Unsure about:
Ajax 23
Tyler Smith 20
Rollins
Unrestricted Free Agents that interest me:
Myles Turner
Naz Reid
Bruce Brown Jr
I think they traded Middleton because based on their own knowledge or whatever, he was not going to get back to the level he was at last year's playoffs. Wizards weren't even starting or playing him that much after the trade. You guys lost mainly due to having Lopez instead of Portis in your starting 5. And Prince. As a Lakers fan, we know full well Taurean Prince should not be starting or playing heavy minutes for any serious team. Regular season or not.
Dude, you are a joke. You blaming a guy that hasn't played much this game. And you still think that injury prone Middleton would of made a difference, no he wouldn't, he needed to go. Get off his tip man. it was the closing moment of the game that cost us. Grow up.
And again my clueless one, Jimmy Haslem is not the only owner of the Bucks. God you don't think.
Giannis and
Dame are big supporters of Doc. I don't see the Bucks Front office firing Doc this off-season. Maybe if Giannis demands a trade it would happen but I don't think GA is leaving anytime soon.
You know what you're talking about, unlike the casuals on reddit! Yes, Rivers and Haslam's apparent meddling has held the team back.
Stop talking about Middleton. I love Kash but keeping him was going to ruin any chances of any roster flexibility and put anyone around giannis
