Turns out that Jobu can’t hit the curveball nor he defend 6 on 5.
Next year it is “Fuck you Jobu, we do it ourselves”.
The fact that the presidents trophy winning team needed 2OT in Game 7 to advance against the WC2 team is pretty indicative of how the series went for them. I’m proud of this team, we were playing with house money in these playoffs. I think we could shore up our defense (leddy, suter, maybe faulk) a bit in the offseason and be right back at it next year as at least a wild card team.
Offer sheet boys have been amazing. Binnington/Hofer tandem has proved to be pretty solid. Kyrou is starting to live up to his contract a bit more. Fowlers played some of the best hockey of his career with us. WTF line was clutch as fuck in this series. Snuggerud and Dvorksy will be threats soon enough as they keep developing. I really want to believe the future is bright.
Wish we didn’t lose Holloway forever to a lame ass hit man. That sucks, I hope he’ll be good next season because hearing zero update about him has been concerning and our team was less without him. Great season for the offer sheet boys and team as a whole, hope to add in the offseason and be back stronger.
Yep, at 53 I’ve been down this road before. I’m not happy tonight, but it won’t change a damn thing in the long run though.
