AND YOU KNOW AGAIN YOU GOT TO TIP YOUR HAT TO BRUNSON FOR CREATING THE SPACE. YOU KNOW FINDING HIS SHOT THERE AT THE END. BUT YOU KNOW HE’S HARD TO GUARD RIGHT. AND THE SPACE THAT THEY PLAY WITH. AND YOU KNOW HOW HE CAN GENERATE SPACE AT HIS SIZE IS REMARKABLE. AND AGAIN I THOUGHT HE DID A GREAT JOB ON HIM. AND HE JUST DID WHAT HE DOES AND MADE THE ONE MORE. >> YOU JUST TALK ABOUT, YOU KNOW, THE RESILIENCY OF THIS TEAM IN THE FOURTH QUARTER. YOU GUYS CAME IN. YOU DOWN BY 11. THEN YOU KNOW, LATE IN THAT QUARTER YOU GUYS WERE ABLE TO PUT THINGS TOGETHER AND END UP TAKING A LEAD BY SEVEN. >> YEAH. AGAIN I MEAN THEY DON’T QUIT AND THEY NEVER HAVE. IT’S JUST NOT IN THEIR MAKEUP. IT’S NOT IN THEIR FOUNDATION, YOU KNOW, JUST NOT IN THEIR CHARACTER AS HUMAN BEINGS. THEY JUST NEVER FEEL LIKE THEY’RE OUT OF IT. AND AGAIN, LIKE WE ALWAYS TALK ABOUT, IT’S LIKE WHEN THINGS GO BAD FOR THIS GROUP, YOU KNOW, IN A LOT OF PLACES, YOU SEE THE INDIVIDUAL TRY TO DO TOO MUCH. WHEN THINGS GO BAD FOR THIS GROUP, THEY FIND A WAY TO BAND TOGETHER AND GET IT DONE AS A UNIT. AND YOU KNOW, THAT’S BEEN FROM DAY ONE. AND YOU KNOW, I CAN’T SPEAK ENOUGH ABOUT THEIR RESILIENCE AND THEIR CHARACTER AND THE GUTS THAT THEY SHOW. >> JB OVER HERE. THANK YOU. THE KNICKS ENDED AN 11 ONE RUSH AT THE END TO WIN THE GAME. OBVIOUSLY THERE WERE SOME BALLS THAT JUST DIDN’T BOUNCE OUR WAY. YOU KNOW OBVIOUSLY. BUT YOU KNOW AGAIN I THOUGHT OUR GUYS FOUGHT THEIR TAILS OFF AND DID EVERYTHING THEY COULD DO TO PUT THEMSELVES IN POSITION TO WIN THE GAME. >> COACH AHEAD OF THE GAME, OWNER TOM GORES SAID THAT YOU WERE A THROUGH LINE FOR THIS TEAM. YOU’VE BEEN STEADY. YOU’VE BEEN ABLE TO BRING A SENSE OF RESILIENCE OF YOUR OWN TO THIS SQUAD. DO YOU EVER TAKE A MOMENT TO JUST KIND OF SIT BACK AND THINK ABOUT THE JOB THAT YOU’VE BEEN ABLE TO DO HERE IN DETROIT, AND THE EFFORTS THAT YOU’VE CONTRIBUTED TO THE TURNAROUND PROCESS? >> TO BE HONEST WITH YOU, I JUST DON’T FEEL THAT WAY ABOUT THE JOB. RIGHT? LIKE, THIS IS WHAT I’M SUPPOSED TO DO. YOU KNOW, THE JOB IS ABOUT THOSE GUYS IN THE LOCKER ROOM AND TRYING TO DO THE MOST FOR THEM, AND HELP THEM AS MUCH AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN. AND THAT’S ALL I REALLY CARE ABOUT. YOU KNOW, I WAS TRYING TO HELP YOUNG MEN GROW PROFESSIONALLY, GROW PERSONALLY AND BUILD TEAM. AND THAT’S THE FUN PART ABOUT MY JOB IS, YOU KNOW, WHEN YOU FIND 15 GUYS IN A SPACE AND THEN YOU DO YOUR BEST TO BRING THEM TOGETHER AND ACTUALLY CREATE A TEAM. AND THAT’S WHAT WE WERE ABLE TO DO THIS YEAR. YOU KNOW, WE’VE GOT A PHENOMENAL STAFF. THE ASSISTANT COACHES DO A GREAT JOB POURING INTO GUYS, INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT AND THOSE TYPES OF THINGS. SO YOU KNOW AGAIN IT’S JUST ABOUT THOSE GUYS IN THE LOCKER ROOM. IT’S ABOUT THIS ORGANIZATION. IT’S ABOUT OUR FAN BASE. AND AT THE END OF THE DAY THAT’S ALL THAT MATTERS. >> JB A LOT OF TALK CAME INTO THE SERIES ABOUT THIS TEAM’S LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND THE KNICKS EXPERIENCE. EVERY SINGLE GAME PRETTY MUCH CAME DOWN TO THE WIRE. YOU KNOW, THIS TEAM WAS ABLE TO PROBLEM SOLVE GAME BY GAME IN REAL TIME, I GUESS. TO WHAT EXTENT DID YOU FEEL LIKE YOU WERE COACHING A YOUNG TEAM IN THIS PLAYOFF SERIES, OR DID IT FEEL MORE LIKE YOU WERE COACHING A GROUP THAT HAD FIGURED SOME THINGS OUT? >> I MEAN, IT’S A COMBINATION OF BOTH BECAUSE THERE WERE SOME NEW EXPERIENCES THAT THEY HADN’T GONE THROUGH YET, YOU KNOW, AND THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT THEY PICKED UP AND UNDERSTOOD IN THE MOMENT AND WERE ABLE TO MAKE THE ADJUSTMENTS. SO, YOU KNOW, IT’S GREAT EXPERIENCE AND YOU DON’T GET PLAYOFF EXPERIENCE UNTIL YOU GET PLAYOFF EXPERIENCE. BUT I THOUGHT THE GUYS DID A TREMENDOUS JOB OF LEARNING FROM MOMENT TO MOMENT, GAME TO GAME, AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT, YOU KNOW, HOW YOU COULD END UP IMPACTING WINNING.

  7. Behold, the only man in the arena who doesn't understand the value of Ausar. This loss is FIRMLY and completely on Bickerstaff for how he handled Ausar. Unacceptable. Period.

  12. Don't at like this Coach and GM didn't put this team in a better place ,this team won 14 games last yr and I didn't watch a game that year for the first time in my life. I started wat thing when Isiah got drafted before that I was a Dr J fan cause I was young and the Pistons sucked. It took Zeke years to bring us a winner it took the 04 team years as well. This is a process and I see a great future with this team. Cade is 23 our core is young Knicks spent alot of money e pe ting to go all the way and look what our guys just done never going to tge playoff. The organization is finally going up.

  13. This coach needs to watch film and explain why he called timeout when they were rolling up 7 and crowd was going nuts. Also, why didn't you have Cade push it with 37 seconds left to go for the 2 for 1. Get a shot within 10 seconds, then Knicks can rebuttal, but most importantly, you have the final shot. Coach needs to be held accountable!!

  15. Coach of the Year turnaround a team that was terrible and turned them into a playoff team he got them the right track. Pistons will be in title contention in a few seasons

  18. We should have went for the 2 for 1 when we got the ball with 38 seconds left. We also should have left Ausar in the game with 4 minutes left. But regardless, you're ours coach, and we riding with you πŸ’―πŸ’―

  19. When you listen to how his players speak about him, he has their complete trust both young and old.
    You can complain anout his decisions in hindsight but those guys gave everything for each other, im the happiest fan i could be today ❀thank you JB aka UNC

  20. PLAY AUSAR!!!!!!!!! 23 minutes and no foul trouble is just laughable. How do you praise the kid, then play him the second LEAST minutes on the team??????? Cleveland knew what was up…..

  21. I think Dennis defended great on Brunson ! I Think it was an clear offense foul from Brunson ! Shoulder First ! Next basket traveling ! Got lucky ! You got to Talk about Cade missing 2 lay ups with his left Hand βœ‹ the Last Minute !

  23. Would it have killed him to say something nice about the Knicks? Had an open goal when asked about just acknowledging Brunson making a great play

  24. JB why did you take Ausar out up 7 with 2 minutes left in the game? That’s when Brunson went crazy down the stretch

  25. This guy needs to work with the younger players when it comes to turnovers, especially Cade. Does J.B. know how to call a time out when the opposing teams go on a 12-0 run to perhaps make adjustments or at least slow momentum? It's happened All Season!

  26. Like BJ but he' not very good coach , 3 point shots wayyy to many wayyy to many missed shots …. You're the coach call time when th 3pt thing isn't working tell the men to take the rock to the hoop…

  28. Hey Pistons fans.. Your coach will never learn from his mistakes. As a Cavs fan i have experienced his ineptitude when it comes to in-game adjustments and rotations he deploys. He is a fantastic bridge type coach. But he won't be able to make you guys a champion.
