I’ll never blame a player for trying to squeeze as much money as they can out of any team, because if this league isn’t going to their absolute fucking best to protect players, then they deserve to make every cent they can in case they get taken out by some lowlife goon.

Bennett is an absolute master at causing damage where the play doesn’t look “that bad” NHL DOPS should’ve caught onto his antics by now.
This is just opening the door for a Leafs Enforcer to take one for the team and just absolutely annihilate a Panthers player or their goalie.
Any attempt at a repercussion and the leafs can just point to Bennett as the standard for the series. It would make the league look like they are favoring a team and/or hypocrites, which would result in no further action taken.
