They really just don’t have a pure isolation guy. That’s what they need. They need a guy who in isolation can break you down and go get his own bucket. That’s the thing this team is missing. And that’s why I think will take them to the next level. It doesn’t even have to be to be honest. If they want to get like a short uh uh you know um a short gap answer instead of going after big star hunting or anything, it doesn’t have to be that. You could go get somebody that is like a six-man type of guy that just goes and get his own bucket.

Looking at the comments, I don't believe Ivey is the pure Iso guy Ku is referring to. I agree he 100% has the potential to do that but we have not seen that at a consistent level to really call him that. If that's the guy people believe he is then imo he deserves to be paid as such (5 years $180 mil PLUS). But I wouldn't offer him that kind of contract this offseason after that injury and missed playoff time which makes it extremely difficult to negotiate during this offseason. Be patient, really SEE what he looks like next season and then talk about an extension. That doesn't mean they can't still go for a 2nd option though.
