So if it happens again will people start seeing that this might be intentional or are we going to keep coming up with excuses?

  6. The league and espn suck the dicks of the panthers. They press them like kc chiefs of the nhl and matt tkachuk is their mahomes. This is how they win their 2nd cup in a row, one goalie head injury at a time.

  9. NHL has to do something. If it was my team it’d be a Ryan Hartman suspension and it’s well deserved and then it happens again and they suspended him longer. Florida gets away with assault and there’s blind eyes. I saw the slew foot on the previous game at the closing seconds. Do NHL heads think this is good for the sport? Or is it good Tv?

  11. Enough is Enough! Suspend or penalize the crap out of them that they play a man down 50 percent of the game and let the other team run their goalie at will. Or let the Dave Semenko’s of this Hockey World back in the game make players accountable for their actions. 5k fine is a spit in the bucket compared to what they make. If you gave me a choice of vengeance or 5k, I’d take the 5k fine every time. Ams smile while signing the cheque’s. Also, players should be able to put a ref in his place and off his high horse. I apologize to those I’ve offended, and those i haven’t, it’s just not your turn, lol. It’s just a hockey fan venting because of all the avoidable injuries.

  12. Aaron Ekblad should be done for the playoffs. For me, it’s hard to cheer for the Leafs. But when it comes to cheering for a Tkachuk team, cheering for the Leafs is a no brainer. Disrespectful little piss ants

Thing is, you just know that as soon a someone on the Leafs does respond or goes head hunting it’ll be a game misconduct and a suspension, not to mention Bob throwing himself to the ice crying to the refs because he’s fully expecting to get run, can only assume that’s why Rodrigues got done for embellishment, just a make up from Bob’s antics!

    Maybe Berube’s right though, just beat them on the scoreboard.

  18. This is so disappointing. I’ve been slowly getting into hockey for the last decade and a lot of the reason why is because it didn’t have the same bullshit as all the other professional sports. The officiating in this year’s playoffs is very disheartening and makes me want to quit watching professional sports altogether. Is there any “professional” sport that doesn’t seem like it’s scripted by WWE writers?

  23. Someone on Toronto needs to man up and defend their goalie. I know they’re up 2-0 but they might run out of goalies in case they’re getting injured

  25. As a devils fan that has had to watch scummy NYR players try to grope whatever NJ goalie is in net in each year and every year, im told, {this is hockey}. Get a goon to patrol your crease and make him pay and you wont have the issue.

  26. It’s against the leafs so the league doesn’t care. It’s the same reason he can wrap both arms around Fiji and tackle him and not get a penalty
