ESPN’s Buster Olney evaluation of the Arizona Diamondbacks

How do you look at the Diamondbacks? What is your take on them when you evaluate them? Okay, if healthy, which is always the, you know, the great X factor with these teams with, you know, Puck and Martinez back, Katel Marte back, they to me have as good a chance as any team to unseat the Dodgers. You know, that’s kind of the overriding question coming into this year after the Dodgers added all those players during the course of the winter time from Snell to Roi Susaki. Who can beat the Dodgers? Uh, and the Diamondbacks are on that short list of teams in my eyes, but they’re also, you know, they’re playing the National League. Uh, we were getting ready for Sunday Night Baseball a couple weeks ago and I was talking with Kyle Schwarber about how great the National League is and I said to him, he, you know, the sad thing is they’re going to be two really good National League teams at least that don’t even make the playoffs.
