Dallas Cowboys Fans NEED TO HEAR What Demarcus Ware Said About Micah Parsons!
Welcome back to Attack on Cowboys. And amidst all of the George Pickins hoopla and the celebration around us getting the Chief Yin in Dallas, we missed something that was actually kind of important and actually very good news for Dallas Cowboys fans. So, we going to continue the good news train and we’re going to listen to what Demarcus Wear had to say about Micah Parsons. And I think this is interesting and all Cowboys fans need to check this out. Let’s go ahead and take a listen and be sure to subscribe for more Dallas Cowboys content as we like right there y’all. We right there at 35K. Let’s get right into [Music] it, man. Shut your up. All right, so this is Demarcus Wear on the Up It Adams show featuring K. Adams. Let’s take a listen to this conversation happened. You and Micah, it was at Tyron Smith retirement. So, we were there and talking to him and we’ve been talking ever since. D what I need to do, bro? Like, how? And I and from a former player getting that that that feedback, that want to from him. That’s that’s what I’ve been looking for. And that’s showing humility from him, right? He’s the top of the top. He’s showing humility, but also, hey, I want I want it from the best. a guy that I played. That’s what I like to hear. So, just in case you guys are kind of missing out on some of the context of this, essentially Demarcus Wear is discussing how ever since the Tyron Smith retirement ceremony, Michael Parsons has been essentially like just like like a leech on him. He’s been trying to soak up all of the knowledge, all the information, all of the advice that he could possibly get from the Hall of Famer as it pertains to leadership and kind of taking those next steps as not only a player individually, but having an impact on the rest of your unit, the rest of your team, and kind of how to do things the right way. So, you love love love to hear anytime a a young man gets to a point to where he understands like, hey, I don’t have all the answers. Maybe I do need to take into account some of the things that my elders are telling me, people that have already been there, done that. Life is cyclical. You everything in life, it happens over and over again. So, we’re not experiencing anything for the first time, y’all. So, we got to understand that we just have to take the the lessons that our elders have learned, our predecessors have learned, and and put them in proper context to fit our specific situation. And I love that Michael is doing that with Demarcus. Let’s keep let’s keep listening, though. want to play like and and playing like right now and can get it done. What do you think catalyzed that? What made him take that step? Um to be honest with you, I think that’s a really good question. I think um he’s at a point right now to where he’s changing so many things in his life and he’s maturing and what I mean by that is maturing spiritually, maturing from a family standpoint and saying I want to be a better man. Love, love, love to hear that. Now, I will say, and y’all know I keep it real on here, a $200 million contract being dangled over your head is a good ass reason to want to mature real quick and want to reach out to everybody around you. And you know, this is going to do nothing but help Micah’s case as pertains to his contract negotiations that’s currently going on with Jerry, by the way. So, we ain’t going to sit here and be naive and act like some of this may not be strategically timed, but I don’t care. I do not care. However you get to point A to point B, however you got to save the baby, save the baby, man. I don’t care you got to rob a bank on the way to saving the baby. However you got to save the baby, save the baby. Right. So, I really, really like hearing everything I’m hearing right now. Let’s keep listening. Man, this is some really, really good insight from the Hall of Famer as pertains to the current status of our stars mental state and his emotional state and kind of where he is and where he’s trying to be. And when he when he starts talking to me like that, I know that now you can be a better captain on the football field to lead those guys to as well. What’s the advice you give him when he’s asking you these questions? What’s the one thing that you tell him? Um, don’t let the world suck you into a characteristic that you can’t withhold. So, it’s almost like don’t try to live live somebody else’s dream. How do you create your own? Interesting. Interesting. Now, that that could be, you know, something in his own personal life as far as not trying to live up to the the the goals and standards that your parents or your people around you may have set for you. Instead, kind of look for your own. But that’s a very interesting piece of uh advice that he gave him there. Okay. And I told him like, you know, the hard work that you put in that nobody sees is not going to get noticed, but it get gratified when you’re out there sacking a quarterback and they say, “How do you do it?” because I’ve been doing this for 40 hours a week, right? Or when you see the next man and you have that sea on your chest, how can now your position be poured into some of those other guys and you see them get better. That’s when you start seeing the whole team, you know, get better and it’s not about a it’s not a you thing, okay? Because you already got it. How can I sort of be a catalyst and ignite some of those other guys? Okay, so Micah is trying to figure out right now how can he impact the rest of his teammates? What’s the best way to go about leading other guys? And and you know that’s a slippery slope to be on because I’m going to be honest man, leadership is subjective. It’s dependent upon the person. It’s dependent upon that specific individual. And what worked for Demarcus Wear may not work for a Michael Parsons per se, right? Um because because it depends on your personality type, you know, how people view you, the the perception you’ve already created about yourself, how you may be going about leading, how you’re comfortable leading, the the the leadership styles, there’s different styles of leadership. So, it’s hard to go to someone and ask for onetoone advice on leadership. I think the best advice you could possibly give anybody and the advice I would give someone like a Michael Parsons is, bro, as long as the people around you can see that you’re going about your business, that you’re invested in what not only what you have going on, but the success of others around you, you’re invested in their success as well, and you’re handling your business each and every day. And you’re doing the right things. You’re setting the example. And you’re doing the right things even when no one is looking. Even when Jerry and Stephen and all them boys can’t see y’all doing the right things, when you have those guys over your house watching film with them and you’re eating the right way and you you’re looking out for their well-being, you making sure the guys are in the playbook and stuff like that, you just have to lead by example, bro. Because in in a sport like football where you’re dealing with a bunch of alphas, y’all got to remember, bro, yes, there’s 53 men on on an NFL roster, but these dudes were all alphas in their own right at some point in their lives. You can’t just go in there and try to strongarm leadership. You can’t try to force leadership cuz to some degree all of these guys have leadership qualities to some degree because you can’t get to this level without being a self motivator, right? You can’t get to this level without being a self-starter. Um, you don’t want to strongarm it and you don’t want to do it in a disingenuous way. You want to make sure that you’re doing it in a way where it kind of just naturally falls into place and the guys respect the example that you set each and every day. I think that’s kind of the same thing that Dak did. I don’t think he went into the locker room trying to be a leader necessarily. I don’t think he went to the locker room trying to take over in place of a Tony Romo. I think that guys just kind of seen how he treated others, how he went about his business, the fact that he was the same guy with every single person no matter what. The fact that he took time to to relate to guys, to understand what buttons to push with guys. And at the end of the day, leadership is the ability to influence others to accomplish a mission in the manner of desire by providing purpose, direction, and motivation. And you as a leader, you’re going to have to figure out what is each and every one of those guys in your unit, what is their purpose, direction, and motivation that’s needed and and how can you push those buttons, right? So, I don’t think that the fact that you want to do it, the fact that you care that much, I think that’s enough. Just feed off of that and then just do what feels natural, bro. Just do the right things each and every day that a professional football player that’s really trying to take that next step should be doing it. making making sure that you bring guys along with you, right? You can’t force guys to come along with you, but always extend that that that opportunity for guys to be led, right? And and eventually other people will fall into place. And I think that that’s going to happen naturally for Michael Parsons, especially if he continues to have that same zest about wanting to take that role, right? But either way, appreciate y’all for tuning in, man. This was a great great bit of information from Demarcus Wear. Again, this came out around the same time that the George Pickins trade dropped and it may have been kind of drowned out, but I I did want to make sure that we all absorb that positive information about Michael Parsons and kind of where his focus is this summer. And I think that that’s only going to help the team. It seems like everyone is 100% focused on doing what they need to do to put the Cowboys in a better situation than they have been in the past. Not saying they gonna win a Super, all that stuff. But at the end of the day, man, hopefully these guys can can make us feel a little bit better. Damn, I’m tired of having to sit here and and and and lift y’all asses up because y’all so down deep in the dirt. I’m having to dig y’all asses up, put you in a nice pretty clay pot, water you, and get y’all back up strong and stuff. And then the Cowboys just rip us out the damn ground again. They rip us out the soil and I got to do it all over again, bro. Hey, man, we need some different different different results this season. I I I firmly believe I truly believe I’m not just pumping smoke. I truly believe that the team is in a very very interesting place. And if this energy and what’s going on around the Cowboys is is honed correctly and these guys do what they’re supposed to do from top to bottom, I do think that we we are in store for for a damn good season. But either way, y’all know how we end these videos. It’s a real YM party. You cannot get in. Picks off the Drake and Dak off the head. How do them cowboys? Happy Mother’s Day, B. Calling me, texting me, paging me, asking me, “Am I still?” Y’all use the check on me. Listen, listen, listen. I’m still them [Music] boys. Hey, I’m still them boys.

🙋🏾♀️
Why does the trade issue even become a subject??
LFG!!!! MP growth is a great thing and we support you DC4L
4 year 180m fuck that’s QB MONEY
I can't wait until this season starts for real I truly believe we got the right piece on this team 💙💙💙💙💙💙
IDK about anyone else, but for the first time in a long time the vibes coming from the team this off-season have been good, regardless of what some may say. It might not translate on the field but it couldn't hurt team morale
Dallas happy mother's Day, let's get it, keep Grinding.🔥🏈🔵⚪🏆
Before Demarcus there was Greg Ellis and Charles Haley.
Back like I never left #SYBAU SQUAD # DC4L
This is Dallas's greatest pass rusher / sack king. You heard🎉🎉🎉
AOC? Were you an enlisted man? That definition of leadership was right out of the NCO promotion board! 🤔🫡
I'm SO GLAD, that I found this channel. ATTACK!!!!!
I really really hope that Overshown comes back 100% to play with Micah. The white boy LBer from the Bears. He looks like a faster Sean Lee. I believe they're on the verge of a Doomsday 3. Good stuff D. Ware
On the grill right now. Happy Mother's day
Another thing Parsons can do this season to be more of a captain is be willing to play linebacker if that's what's needed for that game
It warms my heart 💕to see Micah reciprocating the energy to the ‘old heads’ that paved the way.🤞🏽💙🏈 #HappiestMothersDay✨🌺
That’s what I wanted to hear. Micah has grown a lot from where I sat. I’m hopeful
Just joined bro….i am hating myself for not finding you sooner.
All the way from Barbados bro….i want to subscribe twice
D. Ware would have got one with us if the offense would had relied more on D. Murray than T. Romo.
Im not getting hyped for them to flop in the wildcard
This team has resilience.Even with last seasons slide the cowboys fought to the end.The Cowboys, even with the long SB drought still hold the best Win,Loss percentage in the entire NFL. When people tell me to get a crying towel and hang my head for being a cowgirls fan, I'm always happy to point that out. Now that we've addressed some glaring issues we've got an excellent chance of never losing that status at least for the near future. Some commentators act like we're supposed to be scared of the Philadelphia eagles. There a great team but over the last five years we are five and five. Does this mean Philly's supposed to be afraid of us? Seems to me they shoud respect us as much as we respect them. I've got to admit after Philly got over the hump last year, and hold the crown, they are a major force to be reckoned with, and they may be on a roll, but I believe we will definitely give them a run for their money!Go Cowboys!
Yoooo put that SYBAU ON A SHIRT💯💯💯
I think Micah is finna have his best season yet as a pro it’s bound to happen 💯
Dude ive been watching you forever, cant wait to see you at 500k subs. The best cowboys content on youtube easily
Homeboy… you shooo make some good coolaide!!!
Demarcus Ware is the best pass rusher that's played for the Cowboys. If Ware can teach Micah what he knows about pass rushing and playing the run were in great shape for the future.
Too much hype around this team. 8-9 season ahead.
Its going to be a very good year for every player with that star on their helmet.
I gotta give you props, i was expecting another bad year while you knew better. I said i wasnt going to spend any cash on the star until i saw a change and ive already seen enough, im getting that pickens jersey/shiesty ASAP 😂
Your only a leader of other believe you are. Can't lead if others aren't willing to follow and believe your vision is the path to success.
Die hard Cowboys fan here, you’ve become so typical in your behaviors and it’s lost you 11 subs just from my fam and homies. “Huhhmmmm”, you’re damn annoying “raps”. You’re now far less COWBOYS NEWS AND UPDATES AND MORE; “IMA BEHAVE LIKE A GOON & A 9th grader.” Deuces homie, GET IT TOGETHER BRO. UNTIL THEN, more and more will continue to leave.
I feel something special is going to happen for Dallas cowboys this year . Lets f go!!! #DC4L
DWare gets me. Looking at his baby face, you would never guess this guy was a monster on the field.
This is sounding like Micah is humbling himself & he sees that he needs to listen to the old heads.
I'm so excited for this season… I really feel something special is about to happen
them barz at the end.. okkkk😮💨🤣🤣🤣
Just subscribed. Thought I already had. Love your content, best Cowboys channel.
SOMETIMES BRO STAY ON A POSITIVE NOTE 🎵 SOMETIMES
D’Marcus, where is aging well, , he looks like he could still play the game today !!! Usually when players retire, they just let themselves go and start hitting the all you can eats !!!!! 😂😂😂
Leadership is not given it's earned! Being in leadership is to lead, a great leader must always be the student (period) he must be willing to learn through trails, errors and ones success.
You wolfin?
