I don’t dislike this kid near as much as seems to be common around here, but what the fuck does he have to say? He didn’t have a childhood of material struggle. He’s never wanted for the best equipment or coaching money could buy. He’s clearly never had a lack of parental support or crisis of self-confidence. What adversity has he had or victory has he won other than outperforming many of his peer athletes by a moderate margin?
So what’s the message? If you’re born into literally a perfect situation, life is pretty fuckin sweet? I think those kids could figure that out.
