Two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has not made any firm decisions, but for the first time in his career, he is open-minded about whether his best fit is remaining in Milwaukee – or playing elsewhere, league sources told ESPN

  1. Oh shit

This off-season is going to be crazy

Goddamn Thunder having every pick and good young player lol

    Edit:

It’s telling that this news is coming out the day of the NBA lottery where every team will be together in Chicago

  2. Bucks need to blow it up. They won a championship. I’m sure they wish it was more but I would still mark the era as a success. It’s a hard thing to do. Get a haul of picks and in like 4-5 years if all goes well you will be like the Thunder and right back in elite contention.

  3. The answer is leave if he ever wants to win another ring.

Basically everything is different since they won, and it’s all trending downward. I wouldn’t fault him for leaving, that’s for sure.

  4. Durant, Giannis, Zion, Celtics trying to get under 2nd apron, (possibly) Trae Young.

This off-season about to be crazy.

  5. This league is cooked.

Guy won a ring in a city and now this entire sub is begging him to leave. Imagine this sub in 2009 when Dirk was in a similar situation except ring less.

  6. cade and giannis

    in my dreams

but whether okc wins it all or not they need to do this

  7. The bucks are a sinking ship; Kuzma and kpj are the only young-ish guys in their top rotation, they can’t draft to save their lives, and they do not have control of their draft picks until years from now. Oh and dame has an almost 60M dollar player option next season too. Unfortunately their only chance for a reset is trading giannis for a haul. The bucks have won I think one playoff series since their championship

  8. Here come all the suggestions from people who don’t understand salary matching rules or the 2nd apron restrictions making impossible trades for the next month

    The source is Rob Lowe.

  10. Shams has been saying this shit for the last three years. I won’t believe him until Giannis says it himself.

  11. Literal AI level article with no information in it but a clickbait headline, cool.

  12. 3 days ago he said don’t worry about me in reply on instagram to a podcast segment Bobby Portia did on if Giannis would stay or go.

“Don’t worry about me! What you doing Bobby staying or leaving 😂?!”

  13. This is going to sound dumb as fuck, but I don’t care about getting the absolute best package back. I want Giannis to go where he can win and get the credit and respect he deserves from the media and everyone else. The fact he is so constantly dominant and just kind of mentioned in passing most of the time is garbage.

Send him to Denver, OKC or San Antonio.

  14. Him going to Houston and winning a chip to chase out Hardens legacy would be an all-time petty move

  15. As soon as Doc Rivers was hired as Coach that team was already dead

  16. Poor Dame

Has a number retire worthy career with Portland, they need to reset and he wants to go to Miami right when adding him to Miami would open a multi year title window for him

Goes to Milwaukee instead, not a bad place to end up, doesn’t click year 1 but there’s some promise shown, then year 2 gets blood clots, then tears Achilles and by the time he gets back in the court he’s going to be 36 and back to a Portland situation with a team in rebuild mode without Giannis
