  1. If we win the ECF, not even the finals… manhattan is in for a fucking beating

  2. NYC will look like gotham on halloween if the Knicks win the finals

  3. The entire east coast isn’t surviving if the Knicks win a championship.

  4. I’m in the Upper East Side and I’ve never seen this many people out and about on a Monday night. All the old heads going crazy lmao

  5. If the Knicks win the Finals the city is going to look like ESCAPE FROM NY with Kurt Russell

  6. This warms my heart.

I’m 35 years old. I spent the first 25 years of my life in New York and watched the Knicks be terrible for a good part of it. I vaguely remember the 94 finals, I try not to think about the 99 finals, and I hate that I vividly remember the Isiah Thomas to Phil Jackson years. I thought Melo was going to be our savior. I thought KP was going to be the next big thing.

I am at a loss for words to describe how excited I am about this team. There is optimism in the air or it just might be the antidepressants I’m on lmao

  7. This is why I want the Knicks to win. Lmao. City gonna shut down for 3 days

  8. 7th Ave in Brooklyn on the other hand… quiet and calm just as it always is at night. 😴

  9. Lord help the world if we win a championship! Go on and shut earth down for a few days.

  10. Damn, looking like the ECF will probably be Pacers and Knicks, a repeat of last year’s brutal series. And the Knicks have home court and might be at full strength.

  11. That was nearly 15 years of pent up anger and frustration coming out at once.

  12. It’s worth noting that NYC has more people than Boston, Cleveland, and the entire state of Indiana combined. When the city is energized like this, it’s incredible.

  13. Toronto isn’t even close to the size of New York and that city was shut down when they won. New York is going to be something we’ve never seen before if the Knicks win. Might have Stock Market Implications

  14. As a non-New Yorker living in NYC, you will all rue the day the Knicks win the championship.

Not saying anyone should be rooting for the celtics in this series because obviously, fuck the celtics.

But if the Knicks ever win, we will see unprecedented levels of insufferable.

  15. New York vs. Boston is one of those rivalries that transcends sports. Sort of like Toronto vs. Montreal.

It could be a 4th grade spelling bee, but if it’s New York vs. Boston it’s going to have extra heat.

  16. The animals are out on 8th Ave from the Bronx zoo they’re late cus the A train delays but they’re here.

  17. I hate NY, but I’ll admit, Knicks fans are all in, they are committed to the games, you rarely see people looking down on their phones, or empty seats during game time, and you’re putting away those Boston bums, so they got my respect this season.

  18. That’s just a 2nd round game 4 win.

Can’t imagine how it’ll look like if they win the chip.

  19. can’t tell if yall are just young, but NYC will be fine if the knicks win.

Philadelphia somehow survived an Eagles win. We will be ok, NY fans aren’t as trashy as them. Though we aint classy either.

  20. one of the guys in the vid looks like he just finished work and is tryna get home LOL

  21. If the Knicks win, I’m going to the parade. Fuck all the bullshit. I remember the 94 finals and my grandma had to be hospitalized after that loss. I’m totally there
