Have Stars figured out Connor Hellebuyck?

  1. If it ends in 5, time for a rebuild. Trade Helly and Jets fans can finally realize that the goaltender was never the issue. You can't score you can't win. They can then compete for 8th in the West or even miss the playoffs, where this team really belongs. Jets fans seem to be the most willing of all fan bases to throw the goaltender under the bus first.

  2. Nothing to figure out, he sucks in the playoffs. Vegas 2018, choke. 2019 terrible goals, 2023 Vegas, choke, Colorado 2024 ultra choke. 2025 he has actually been worse than all of those. Most overrated goalie in my lifetime

  3. This isn’t a breaking revelation 😂 The Blues and St. Louis media were saying Hellybuck is terrible high glove side and he plays too deep in net. He doesn’t come out far enough to cut down angles. If the Blues weren’t so young and inconsistent they should have beaten the Jets in 5 games. Hellybucks style is great for regular season because teams arent near as aggressive

  4. St. Louis had a team of teenagers, and they solved him. If they were more experienced, they probably could have beaten the Jets in the first round.

  5. Hellybuyck is a joke regular season means nothing, as a American if that pos loser is our goalie in the Olympics we won't win

  6. Def can't be winning a vezina if your weakness is high glove as a goalie, man the glove is made for catching ffs. Ex goalie here with most allowed through five hole

  7. Momentum matters. It's so demoralizing when your goalie consistently gives up a weak goal within the first 5 shots of the game. Thats a recipe to become snakebitten. It's so difficult to squarely blame the poor play in front of him when we cant get a save at an important time. You can see us deflate

  8. Hellebuyck needs to work on his mobility, or hip flexors, or something. He looks stiff. As a goalie myself, but also a Jets fan, Oettinger is way better to watch, and obviously playing better. His movements are fluid, his knee drives are more concise, everything about his play is way ahead. Hellebuyck quite a few times this playoffs I’ve seen fall back after saves or goals, his slides across his skate seems to catch the ice frequently, everything looks off. Is he injured by chance or something??

  9. if both Jets and Leafs don’t make it out of this round, I say they should make a full, franchise for franchise trade! Change things up!

  10. He falls apart under pressure. Just like at the Four Nations and , every damn postseason . Put Comrie in , the hell the Jets have to lose now . Bad enough Hellechoke is up to his same performance. Now the boys can’t even score goals . The in wind the sails has stopped for the Jets . See you on the greens knuckle draggers
