Who was the best all time Oakland A’s Shortstop? Who was your favorite? We’ve some great ones!

We’ve had some great ones alright. 6 time All Star Campy has the highest WAR of any Bay Area SS, and with 3 WS titles & 6 SB titles, he was my first SS and my favorite.
For me it’s Campy because he lived in my neighborhood and I used to play with his kid at the park when I was a kid. Miggy prob is the best
Did you really put Crosby in that list, with his gaudy dWar of 2? Marco probably had a higher war and better defensive skills….
Odd. Stathead doesn’t feature filtering by team or position. Which means that Tony Phillips should also be included (and, career wide, had a better WAR than Miggy in 100 fewer games)
Wilson on his way to be the best.
Bordick was my guy growing up at SS. Then again being a kid during the 80s/90s really solidified my favorites: Terry, Mark, Gallego, Bordick, Carney… Even Ruben Sierra with his flash was fun watching as a kid. Miggy was up there tho too.
I was there for Tejada’s walk off homer to win game #18, that’s it for me.
Campy all the way.
Tejada will always be my favorite. So many memories.
I can hear to drumbeat and song for Tejada every time I see him… god damn man haha
Campy. Not close.
What? No Nick Allen?
Walt Weiss was probably the all around best of all of them. He probably would have been a better known player if he didn’t play for the A’s during the Canseco McGwire era.
