Larkin couldn’t provide anything there? He could at least pull out one of his 3 cliches.
“They’ll never learn!”
I’m just a sucker for disappointed Cleveland commentators.
Cleveland’s radio announcer was my favorite: “Whatever the scouting report was on Benson coming into this series was, it was wrong.”
“Swung on, pounded to right, forget it.” The absolute collapse of his enthusiasm in that one statement.
I may be wrong but wasn’t bensons whole problem he could catch and hammer fast balls but not offspeed stuff? Obviously one series but this could be a great sign.

I love hearing the sadness in the Cleveland calls
Does anyone else think his stance looks vaguely Ted Williamsesque?
Living in overlap territory between these two teams … give me sad Guardians TV commentary all day. The PBP guy and sideline yapper act like they are worldbeaters when they are winning. Sadak tends to talk less when the Reds are down too but it is nowhere near as bad as the Cleveland guys.
