Wilt Chamberlain SNAPS at Dennis Rodman Claim 😡

Schwarz Illustrated had a cover and said, “Is Dennis Rodman the best rebounder ever?” And Will was so annoyed and I cleaned it up saying no. So he calls me up and he asked me, “Did I believe this bleep?” He says, “I had more rebounds a quarter than he had on the whole game.” Now nobody can be saved. [Music] Nobody can be saved. Your feet rolling in your brain. Rolling in your brain. What will say that he was a specialist? Yeah. He says you got to be able to rebound and shoot. Cuz where can he shoot if he had damn B his face? Rebound. Taking him out and shoot top side. Good.

  1. Wilt and Rodman played at different times in different eras. Rodman was not a 7-footer. To even to be close to Bill and Wilt in an era with less pace at under 7 feet is an accomplishment in itself. I think he only averages 7 or so less rebounds than Wilt.

  2. Wilt was such a cry baby. The game evolved and players got stronger and faster and modern medicine was also a factor. Rodman was 6 foot 8, and Wilt was 7’2. What are we doing here? If you paved the way for other players and created a blueprint why are mad that they added to your blueprint. I am not a LeBron fan but I appreciate him and contribution to the game I love.

  5. That's true.. Chamberlain had more rebounds in the first quarter than anybody had in the entire game.. And that's still stands in 2025.💪💪💪💪💯

  6. No doubt 55 Rebounds is insane. And it wasn’t cause wilt was the only 7 footer like some try and lie. There were center taller than him and the average center on the 60-70s was was 6’10- today it’s still 6’10 and at some points
    Due to fluctuations 6’11. The era most think about when it come to short centers and player was before wilts era and was in the 40 and 50s and now kids get those eras confused cause of how close they were. The 40s and 50s the 40s was before black people could play in The nba which had a big effect the average center was 6’8 and player was 6’4. Just a bunch of white boy’s. the 50s was the begging of the the change to modern basketball size. The average center was 6’9 and the players were 6’5.

  7. Wilt couldn’t shoot 😂 Remember 💯 and he was the best rebounder and the most dominant player ever! No SHAQ references it’s not even close. Wilt picked up Arnold Schwarzenegger with one arm!

  9. 7 foot 1 vs 6' 7" lol..once again wilt vs smaller guys like when he played mainly..until he met thurmond who actually knew how to defend wilt..wilt averaged 15ppg s a great defender..juat shows u he was human lol..all his playoff stats were lower than his reg season stats..played with 11 hof and only had 2 rings..shot more per game than anyone at hs spot for his career by far so yes he put up points..does that make him a goat heck no..imagine 100lbs more shaq vs him and a hakeem with his post work and defense lol..

  12. It should be BEST REBOUNDER FOR HIS SIZE! Wilt had 55 rebounds in 1 game. Averaged 25 a game for a season. Led the NBA in assists one year! Rodman wad a great defensive played and rebounder at 6'7"! Wilts top 5 of all time in NBA as a player! Rodman top 75.

  13. My favorite Bill Russell quote was when an interviewer asked him if it would be fair to add Rodman's name to Chamberlain's and Russell's as the best rebounders ever. Bill just smiled wryly and said, "to add Rodman's name to Wilt's and mine as the best rebounders in NBA history would be… inaccurate." 😂

  15. Dennis should play this one w humility: Anyone that truly knows “the eras of basketball” knows that Wilt was the goat for his time and untouchable and a way better rebounder than Rodman ever could be in his era.

  18. Wilt Chamberlain, is the GOAT NBA Player. No Disputes other than from those who do not understand. Like he told Michael Jordan, " if you played during my era, you would be coming off the bench 😂

  21. Rodman also said Larry Bird was pretty much just an average player. If he was black he wouldn't be considered as good as he is recognized. So don't put to much into what Rodman says.

  23. Wilt averaged 23 rebounds PER GAME and had 55 in one game. Rodman’s career high for a game is 34. Wilt had over 30 boards 29 times. Case closed

  24. Rodman must have been on every drug there is. Wilt scored more of his points on fadeaway jumpers than any other way of scoring. He’s so great ppl don’t believe the records he set that had thousands of spectators and statisticians keeping track 😭That’s a GOAT

  26. The thing is the nba needed to market for that era..what the nba says doesnt matter to basketball purist it only matters to casual fans. It doesnt make it true but as long as you get control the perception you can convince them with what your trying to convince tge casual fan..

  30. Wilt is taller, that helped his rebound numbers. But wilt is a much better player than Rodman. Wilt can score, pass… Dennis was like a guard dog.

  33. Considering he wasn't a center and not as tall and big as Wilt, Rodmans numbers are just as impressive. These oldheads are always quick to downplay the newer generation.
