“Couple of some other little things”
😂 Translation “The locker room is a toxic shit hole and I couldn’t get out fast enough!!”
I knew he’d get a coaching gig fast, he’s actually a really good coach. I think Philly will really enjoy him!
“I dont want to deal with a wild media market, overblown expectations, and a general feeling of chaos and mismanagement from all sides” and then he chose Philadelphia because why not have all of those things but also terrible goaltending as a bonus? (Welcome coach, please ignore anything Bobby Clarke says)
“A little bit of a fresh start”, “You hit the crossroads…”, “Not going to dive into it. I just feel like this was the time.”.
Not trying to be an asshole because TheHockeyNews is trying to do what little reporting they can, but these are nothing answers that don’t reveal anything about his reasons for leaving. He talks about the differences in training facilities, but only as a response to a question and where he’s essentially been given the opportunity to talk positively about his new team, so it’s not clear whether this had a major impact.
I feel like I learned nothing reading this article.
was it because they suck
These are nothing but coach speak answers that have no meaning whatsoever. But im pretty most of us can speculate and come pretty close to the actual truth.
The market is insane crazy almost Toronto level
The owners or owner are difficult to deal with
The locker room is clearly a toxic place that might need to be imploded to fix
