NASHVILLE PREDATORS Draft Targets | 2025 NHL Draft
Hello hockey fans and welcome to NHL Draft Pros. He scores. In this video, we’re going to take a look at the draft targets for the Nashville Predators. We’ll go over some online mocks and see who they have going to the PRS in the first round. And if you want to see some scouting reports on some of these prospects, head over to NHL Draft Pros on YouTube or hit the icon below this video and that will bring you to our homepage. And if you’re a hockey fan, please help support the channel by hitting that subscribe and like button. I’d really appreciate it. Thanks. All right, so the Nashville Predators, they have a decent position in the 2025 NHL draft, picking at fifth overall. So that is a decent position, especially for this draft class. And if we go over to NHL.com, Kimlman has James Haggins going number five to the Nashville Predators. Actually, you know what? A lot of online mocks have James Haggins going number five to the Nashville Predators. And check out these numbers. 34 points in 34 games. He’s a 5’11, 177 lb centerman. And what Kimlman said from NHL.com is that he could be the true franchise center the Predators seem to always be searching for. What he lacks in size, he makes up for the dynamic skill and skating. He’s consistently played and succeeded against older competition, was a point- perame player as a college freshman, and tied for the United States lead at the World Junior Championships with five goals as the youngest player on the gold medal winning team. And Scott Wheeler from the Athletics said, “How long have the PRs been waiting for a premium skill forward in Smashville? This is the highest Nashville has picked since it drafted Seth Jones fourth a dozen years ago. And now the PRs get their next American star and the most talented forward they’ve ever drafted. And you know what? I could totally see James Haggins landing possibly at number five to Nashville. And he is. He’s got high hockey IQ. Really good 200 foot player. And you know what? It would be a nice pickup if they can land him at number five. All right, moving on to the daily faceoff and they went with Anton Fondell from Sweden and he put up 25 points in 29 games in the Alzkin. That’s the second division men’s league and he’s 61 and 200 pound centerman. And if you look at his production in terms of points per game, that is one of the best or actually is the best ever ahead of William Knander, David Pasternac, like I mean, yeah, he’s put up some monster numbers in his draft season. And what the Daily Face off said is that Fondell is coming off one of the most productive seasons by a UA team player in the Elvanskin history. He also helped your garden earn promotion, too. Fondell has experience down the middle and on the wing, which makes him intriguing. Fondell has a fantastic shot release and he’s getting better at attacking pucks, too. Fondell has had to make up for lost time, but he put himself back on the map to get selected this high. I’m not 100% convinced he’s a topline center, but Fondell has so much upside. If they don’t take Fondell, Jake O’Brien and Brady Martin would be other perfect options. And yeah, you know what, Fondell, he’s a big kid. He’s got some talent. And like they said at the daily face off, he could potentially be a top six centerman or even a wing depending on what Nashville wants to do with him. Okay. And NHL.com Morali, he went with Jake O’Brien from the Brford Bulldogs and he had 98 points in 66 games. Wow. 6’2, 170 lb centerman. And yeah, what he said was the right-handed shot was seventh in assists 66 and tied for seventh in points 98 in 66 OHL games and has had 50 power play points. O’Brien named OHL Rookie of the Year in 23 24. Has good hands, creativity, and can read the ice well with the puck. Yeah, he is definitely a power play specialist, but I mean, you know what? He still has to put on a little bit of strength, a little bit of weight, I guess you could say. So, you know what? I I think that when he gets a little bit bigger, I think that his 5v5 points will be better, but he could be a potential steel of the 2025 NHL draft class. So, yeah, Jake O’Brien goes to Nashville at number five in this mock. And then the last one is FL hockey and they went with Michael Misa. Now, I don’t know if he’s going to be around at number five. That’s wishful thinking. If Nashville had the potential to get Michael Misa at number five, oh my god, they’d be sprinting, sprinting to the podium, but he had 134 points in 65 games, 62 goals. Like, come on. Dual threat for sure. 61, 190 lb center or winger. Again, lots of options with Michael Misa. And he had 2.06 points per game. Led the entire CHL. That is the OHL, the WHL, and the Q. He led the entire league in points per game. And what FLHawk said is, “Could the Predators be this lucky? It seems unlikely, but I feel like this lottery fell in such a way that it still puts the PRs in a position to land one of the top players. There’s still a lot of love for Misa to potentially go number one even after the incredible production he had this year. But his postseason performance and unfortunate late season injury cost him some opportunities to keep growing his case. Misa could go as early as number one, but likely no later than here. He’s a dynamic talent who scored 62 goals this season. And yeah, I have to agree there. I don’t see any situation where Michael Misa goes number five to the national Predator. Sorry PRs fans, but uh he’s going to go earlier than that, I’m assuming. But if he does make it to number five, you are lucking out on a great great prospect. probably the most NHL ready prospect of this draft. And that is it for the Nashville Predators draft targets. So, let me know what you think in the comments section below. Who would you like the National Predators to draft with that number five overall pick? And like I said before, please help support the channel by hitting that subscribe and like button. I’d really appreciate and we’ll see you soon. Cheers.

Who do you think the Nashville Predators should select at 5th overall? Let me know below!
Love the vid! Can you do sabres next??
James Hagens would be the dream fit but I don't know if Trotz is the type of guy to draft him
Disappointed you didn't spend some time on Preds other 2 first rounders.
I hope Barry Trotz goes off the board here at #5 and leaves the Flyers more options at center. Mrtka would be a very nice fit in Nashville.
preds are skake things up but 5th overall they draft brady martin
I think the predators could take a off the board pick at 5th overall with Carter Bear
I think Utah takes Frondell and Nashville takes Hagens.
As a preds fan I would love to see Misa in Nashville but that is not going to happen. Hagens in my top choice and Frondell is a close second
