Back in 2001 I went on a road trip to Disneyland from Vancouver. There was a big Wayne Gretzky billboard in LA and I remember my mom saying he wasn’t a Canadian anymore. I think my dad was saying something about him being a Canadian hero. This was in 2001 my mom could sense the future some how

Back in the 80’s I was invited to a hockey camp for top players in Toronto (Andrew McBain and others). Before we hit the ice we had to wait because gretzky was shooting a Jofa commercial. He hat to skate to the blue line, stop, create a snow shower while the photographer to a picture . We’ll on one attempt he fell and almost wiped out the photographer. He left the ice soon after as we all had a good laugh and walked right by us without saying a word. A prick and a prick now.
