  5. Toughest opponent thus far. But it seems like the guys are catching fire at the right time. Let's go Oilers! By the way, why do you have a CRT monitor in this day and age?

  6. The defense and especially Nurse & Bouchard cannot make simple defensive mistakes, ie fail to box out guys, tie up sticks, backing up to the goalie on the back check. They need to take Stars players AT THE BLUE LINE. DEFENSE CANNOT BACK ONTO GOALIE. ON THE BACK CHECK! In fact that's how we lost the final game last yeat….Kulak who normally doesn't do that, backed in all the way onto Skinner and Reinhart had plenty of time to pick his spot! THIS CANNOT HAPPEN THIS TIME AROUND!

    Oilers after a break will likely show up though. This one I have Dallas 4-2. Players to watch: Janmark and Seguin. I also expect Duchene to pot one tonight.

  12. You’re nuts esa Lindell is an all Star caliber defenseman. He was a +34 this year averaging over 22 minutes a game.

    Edit: NOBODY on the Edmonton oilers was a +34 or better this season. Nobody.

    Edit edit: that was the 6th best in the league and he did that while only taking 14 PIM. You could argue he was one of the two best defenders in the NHL this season.

  15. Every goalie has holes.
    Edmonton, if we can get one passed otti than absolutely nothing is gonna save him from the offense that Edmonton brings.

  16. I totally agree with you about Dallas’ bottom D pairing. Edmonton can take serious advantage on the cycle if they can hold the O zone. The Eckholm news has me raising an eyebrow. I’m ready for anything lineup wise tonight. And I hope Stu keeps his rock solid performance up tonight. Let’s go Oilers!

  19. I can understand the dreams of "some hockey experts", especially since they are also Oilers fans.
    But the reality is the Oilers have two superstars but the Stars have 6-7 very good players, including an important goalie. I don't care if "STU" has 1, 2 or even 4 good games)) he was, IS and always will be a mediocre goalie. Only in a fairy tale does the ugly duckling turn into a beautiful swan!😝The same goes for the defensive abilities of the highly overpaid Nurse and "linebacker" Bush.😜 Any team plays as well as the other team allows it to. 😇If other players support the Oilers' two superstars, the Oilers will have a chance to surpass the Stars. If NO, then it's time for vacation.🤪

  23. Benn, Seguin, Duchene, Granlund are old now and Stars have a week bottom 4-D pairings. Outside of their kids in Robertson and Johnston they have Mikko. Oilers in 5 maybe 4.

  25. This time I'm not nearly as concerned. Last year we respected Dallas and Florida too much but this year we need to go into these series believing that we can and should win every game we play. We can't keep coming from behind in series and we need to be the best team we can be right from game 1. We saw it against Vegas and we can keep it going against Dallas. Oilers in 5.

  31. Yeah, damn good point Austin we're damn shitty after lay-off's. I am also worried about our PK. Like you, I see Stars winning this game. They'll also be out for blood, after being highly touted last year against us and getting thwacked. Hence, this series will be something of an emotional rollercoaster.

  33. HORRIBLE camera angle incoming! It's the worst in the league, my opinion. Fans are always in frame in front of the camera.
