PHILLIES POSTCAST: Philadelphia Phillies Bats beat up on Colorado Rockies AGAIN in 9-5 win!

The Philadelphia Phillies’ offense stayed RED HOT as they beat the Rockies 9-5. The win clinches the Phillies 7th series win in their last eight.

The Phillies spread their runs out throughout the game. Scoring two in the 1st, four in the 3rd, one in the 5th and two more in the 6th.

In the 3rd, Trea Turner and Bryce Harper hit back-to-back homers on back-to-back pitches that increased their lead to 4-2. JT Realmuto led the Phillies offense with a 3-for-5 night with a homer and three RBI’s. He finished just a triple short of the cycle.

Taijuan Walker started for the Phillies after two relief appearances over the last three weeks. The righty threw five innings allowing three runs on six hits and three walks. He picks up the win and improves to 2-3 on the season. The game marked his first start since May 1st..

Tanner Banks took over in the 6th and pitched a scoreless frame before Joe Ross went on to pitch the 7th and 8th innings, also scoreless.

  1. If Ezekiel Tovar stays healthy, he's a future hall of famer. He is the grandson of another Venezuelan, the great Cesar Tovar.

    On September 22, 1968, Cesar Tovar played all 9 defensive positions for the Minnesota Twins. Later in his career, Cesar Tovar did play one season with the Phillies in 1973.

  2. I’m here for your apology to my man JT.. 😂 Giving him crap last game. No matter his offense if the pitcher does well you gotta give JT props too. Hope you’re wrong about his future, I think he’ll stay as long as wheeler is here. He’s super valuable to our fantastic pitching staff.
