Mollie Walker, brains, beauty and a great sense of humor.
Up in the Blue Seats ROCKS! Tyvm Mollie, Larry & Brian. My fix for the Rangers? No F n idea!
Brian’s daughter was best part
Always a good conversation by Mollie, Bryan and Larry. Up in the Blue Seats is my favorite Rangers podcast. At this point I do not believe that anyone really knows what the Rangers will look like in the 2025-2026 season but some great food for thought is offered here.
Nothing worse than going into this coming season with the towel thrown in before it even starts. Thanks for ruining the rest of my Summer.
Losing Rempe to an offer sheet is not a big deal. They talk like he's the second coming of Dave Andreychuk. He is what he is. If losing size is an issue, I'd look at 6'7" Dylan Roobroeck, coming off a 20 goal AHL season as an option to replace him if he goes, and 19 year old, 6'7" draft pick Nathan Aspinall might have some upside going forward.
Cuylle isnt at risk Rangers have about 9 million in cap space. No one is going to give Cuylle that much, no one is going to give Cuylle enough for the Rangers not to march. Let's say they do, the compensation will be a 1st and a 3rd. Cuylle isn't worth a 1st and 3rd and I would gladly take that for Cuylle.
Never forget they could have drafted Cam Fowler.
Anyone who is hoping for Eichel or McDavid to come here and save this franchise, i believe you will end up being massively disappointed
McDavid?? Q: How many Cups did NYR win with Gretzky? A: None. I hope NYR management and players are studying these playoffs to learn what it means to win.
My two pics for the C JT Miller/ Vince Trocheck about Mika unfortunately we’re stuck with him and if he doesn’t change his crying ways it’s going to be another painful year just like last year with Trouba/Goodrow fiasco let’s hope he either comes back hungry to play or agrees to be traded unfortunately the guy most likely being traded is Kreider now on the bright side Cuylle is going to be our best pick since drafting Kreider talking forwards and the Rangers better make sure he stays for a long time he reminds me of JT Miller or Ryan Callahan.
About K Miller I think he should get 1 year to prove himself and the organization he’s worth the money if not trade him for a couple picks and a prospect maybe send him to the Kings for Brandt Clarke not the biggest Defenseman but he got potential to be a Adam Fox type let’s just hope next season is nothing like last year even if they don’t make the playoffs all I ask is effort and commitment LGR!
Watching the Florida Panthers in the playoffs, it will take the Rangers a few years to get there. Our primary players are their secondary, and our secondary are their 3rd and 4th line.
In today’s NHL, it can’t be only the coaches or the GM kicking butt…it has to also come from within the locker room. This is where a good captain comes in. JT not only leads by example, but he’s willing to engage in tough situations & say/do whatever it takes to win.
Keep rempe ! !
34:39 Mollie's reaction to the "birth certificate" comment was priceless.
She's like "Careful! I want to work for Rupert long-term!"
Mika i feel is a good person, but he's not invested in doing everything it takes to Win a Cup and Rangers shouldn't have veterans like that. Same for Kreids.
Fox is So Soft on Defense and he's not close at all to Makar.
The Rangers are going nowhere with this core group.
42:50 if any of the alternate captains gave a s*** the team would have made the playoffs this season.
Don't carry dead wood because you don't want to offend them. The City won't put up with it.
Would you make sports+ available overseas please???
is boyle staying with us?
Get rid of the wimps….this team is not built for the playoffs and will never beat the Panthers with the wimps they currently have…..I would have preferred the "P" word….instead of wimps….
Larry, when Drury asks Mika if he wants to be here, please let him be specific to being here on the ice. DJ’ing – doesn’t count. And someone give him a poster of Marchand so he knows to play big and not as small as he has been playing.
I would take a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Rempe on an offer sheet in a heart beat and I will drive him to the airport.
The best way to fix them is to sell them. Dolan is half a retard. Drurys' head is up his own ass, and Sullivan couldn't bring a Sidney Crosby led team to the playoffs in the past three years. His coaching style is boring. He is boring, and the culture he will change to, it, will be boring. Should've fired Drury, found a gm that doesn't think his shit doesn't stink and hired Joel Quenneville if you wanted to have real change, real culture. They are dead in the water.
Mike Sullivan can't motivate a fart
As always thanx! I liked what you said Brian about the team’s conditioning… showing up early in NY and getting after it early.
These last couple of episodes have been outstanding! Keep it up. Important, interesting content!
Sounds like we learned from Kakko. Don’t make the same mistake with Laf
Jed Ortmeyer and Tanner Glass are in charge of player development…… why is this still the case?
Rangers brought in Mikkola and then got rid of him….. sigh
With Joel Quenneville coaching Anaheim the Rangers have a great opportunity to trade Panarin, for a decent return. I think they could also unload Shakey Shesterkin possibly to Toronto. Looks like the Rangers 'dodged a bullet' by unloading apparently brain-dead Brett Howden!
Al Arbour couldn’t motivate this bunch. Scotty Bowman as well.
