Don’t forget about this LOCKDOWN CORNER 😤🔥 #arizonacardinals #cornerback #nfl
Imagine being an NFL quarterback, not allowing a single touchdown as a rookie, only to be overshadowed by your team’s recent draft picks. Don’t get me wrong, the Arizona Cardinals did a great job addressing their defense last month. They got arguably the steal of the draft, taking Michigan corner Will Johnson at pick 47 along with a solid value pick in Ohio State’s Denzel Burke. But while those guys are all Cardinals media is talking about, there’s a DB heading into year two that’ll be a household name by December. Meet Max Milton, a Rucker product in Arizona’s second round selection from 2024. He struggled early on, highlighting back-to-back matchups against the Chargers and Dolphins as the two worst games of his rookie season. Opposing teams realized this, especially the Bears, who faced Arizona after Max’s string of bad outings. However, this game was different. Melton allowed just two grabs on nine targets, recording a 39.6 passer rating when Caleb Williams threw his way. From this point on, Max was locked down for the remainder of the season. He would be targeted 26 more times with only 12 of them being caught, coming out to just 5.2 yards per target and zero touchdowns allowed. Now again, I’m not discrediting the picks the Cardinals made this year. I think Will Johnson will be awesome, but just know Max Melton is going to lock up on the other side of the field from him. It’s the off seasonason. There’s only so much to talk about, but I’m dropping videos like this all summer long. So follow to stay updated with all things

Great video dude! Love highlighting these under-the-radar players.
Yooo I have a request could you please do a video on how much quality players Ohio state produced last year
I would never forget about the second most legendary Brothers duo in Rutgers football history. Max and Bo Melton.
Seems like he had his Hey Rookie, Welcome to the NFL moments earlier, adapted to the speed of the game, used vital technique, and now he’s winning downs.
