We’re looking at a lot of Major League Baseball bets this weekend. But before we get into the weekend, let’s get it started with the St. Louis Cardinals hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks. St. Louis will be a home underdog here. We got Miles Mikolas and Zack Gallon on the mound. Could this be a pitcher duel? The Cardinals will be a home underdog. Arizona minus 126 on the money line. The total sits at 8 and a half. And my first glance here, you look at Zack Gallon. Zack Gallon’s actually on my list. And for those of you who bet Major League Baseball, you probably got a few pitchers on your list. Guys that you like to bet on, guys you you try to find an excuse to bet on their team every time they get a start. Zack Gallon’s one of those guys for me, but problem is he ain’t been that guy this year. And and you can’t let your bias creep in. You got to be honest. You got to look at the numbers and analyze what’s going on here. And Zack Gallon just ain’t it right now. And St. Louis 16-8 at home. Arizona two games above 500 on the road. Nothing wrong with Arizona, but Gallon 3 and five, 5.14 RA, 1.38 whip. But his last two starts, 10 runs on 18 hits in 10 and two/3 innings, gave up four four home runs, walked four. The worst part, his last start at home against Colorado, the worst team in the majors, and he just got rocked. Uh, I don’t want to be back in Arizona as a road favorite with a struggling starter on the mound here. And because Arizona is the favorite, we’ve actually got a lower number for St. Louis’s team total. St. Louis team total over three and a half will be the way I want to look at this. St. Louis ranks seventh in the major leagues in scoring. They’re averaging 4.8 runs per game. They rank second in the majors in team batting average, batting 263 on the season. And they have hit Zack Gallon in the past. Uh what are they hitting? 325 against him over just 40 at bats. So, a small sample size still to get that low number on the team total for the home dog here given Gallon struggles and they should get a good crack at the bullpen as well. We’re going to take St. Louis to go over three and a half runs in this game.
