✭ Bryan Broaddus makes a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT….AND Cowboys OTA/Camp discussion
And ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, what y’all doing? Y’all all right? Y’all doing okay? You know, you see, see, Brian Brian Brian has been around V long enough to know that I’m I’m just extra. I, you know, I can never just show up to work and do regular things. I can never just, you know, be be typical. I always got to do a little do a little something something. from Brian Bro. First of all, let me say, sir, I normally I normally don’t ask you how you doing because, you know, you you’re doing all right for the most part. You’re you’re doing all right, but Brian, what the business is, man? How you doing, man? You doing all right? I’m doing well, sir. Thank you very much. And uh thank you for uh your attire tonight. I really appreciate the uh Is this is this one of the looks that you were you didn’t get a chance to throw down when we were working on the draft? No because they made us wear polos? No. No, Brian. I have successfully pulled off all the dot looks I wanted to pull off, but the problem is I’m obsessive. So, I went to go buy more, you know what I mean? Uh, so what I’m going to do now, because I really like dressing up for, you know, you know, radio, podcast, TV, uh, I’m going to have this thing that I call fly Fridays. And, you know, we going to do the break Monday through Friday, and I’ll be regular Monday through Thursday, but on Friday, I’m going to match Derek Eagleton’s energy, and um, we going we going we going to suit it and boot it. Maybe even like postgame shows if whoever want to give us some big money to do some postgame show. I might uh show up and do that. But uh yeah, this is one of the ones I haven’t debuted yet, Brian Bro. And I think it goes spiffily with the uh with the uh with the uh tone that I have there. Yeah, you did a great job. And um but I I want to take a minute or two. I know that we’ve uh talked about this before and I am um I’m really excited to make the announcement that I’ve created a company called uh Crown Global Media. And so my idea and vision for Crown Global Media is of course some of the best coverage that you will ever see with with the Dallas Cowboys. of course that that we’re able to produce. Uh I have an idea for podcast for that for stuff with the NFL, college football, fantasy football. But today I did sign a lease uh I have a space here uh in Irving, Texas, uh over at the old BS studio. Bal is the uh the group that used to uh do the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Stars. So, it’s a media area, but uh yes, I’ve created this uh this uh this company that I’m super super excited about. Uh we’re in the stages right now. Like I say, I’ve signed a lease. I’m in the process of building out the space. uh make sure it’s fitted. But I’m also proud to say that uh the gentleman who I’ve been working with here for the last year is going to be with me on this project. And uh with Botch and and others, uh we’re just going to create the best content for our audience. And like like I say, whether you’re into the Dallas Cowboys, the National Football League, uh there’s things we’re going to do with that, with college football, and also with fantasy football as well. So, we’re going to kind of be your one-stop shop uh at Crown Global Media. Uh I’m super excited about that. I just uh I can’t tell you it’s been a long journey and Vaj and I, we’ve we’ve done a lot of things together. Uh I’m so happy with the way that he and I have been able to to work together, but we’ll have some of your others. There’ll be some other uh content creators that I’m looking to bring on board uh and create these podcasts uh so that uh that fans from all around the world will be able to to get the the most updated information, get the most thorough information and get the best information overall is really what I want to do. So, uh I just can’t tell everybody how thankful I am to everybody out there who listens to us. uh going to need your support on this uh because it’s a it’s a big undertaking, but it’s something that uh when football season starts, like I say, right now uh we’re into that building stage where we’re going to create the the uh the studio itself and then working on getting the content, but I’m I am very very proud to announce that Vch and I will be working together on this project. And uh I just can’t thank him, you for all the things you’ve done for me because you’ve helped me, you’ve motivated me to get this started and uh the the content you and I are able to create with the others, whether it’s Aisha Morrison and Dave Helman, you know, others. I mean, we there’s the there’s there’s YouTubers out there that, you know, that deserve opportunities as well. And so, I’m just super excited about it. I know I’ve said that a couple of different times, but it has been a long journey and and but here we are and uh we will be up and running. Uh like I say, through the summer we’re going to get things built out and before the football season starts uh we will be up and ready to go. So again, just thanks to everybody out there that’s been very very patient with me about this and the announcements and stuff, but uh yeah, going to need your support. uh we’ve got a channel that uh hopefully will be for everybody. And what you know I envision is being able to take that channel and also do things that would uh will help the fans maybe get a little bit more educated. Like I I love what Vaj does with film breakdowns with touchscreens. Maybe there’ll be some weekly stuff we able to break down games and give you a little bit more in depth to this. So, this is going to be a uh a big- time uh project, but it’s going to be worth everything uh your attention on it and uh I would just vot like I said, I really look forward to to working with you and working with others as we get this going. Man, Brian Bratis, uh it is it is uh it is going to be a very fruitful journey to get together and pull this off. I am uh honored and privileged to be your content consigary. If anybody watched uh Godfather, you know, you know Tom Hagen was the was the adviser, but but Tom, you’re not Sicilian. You can’t be the wartime consigary. You know what I mean? So, uh as your content consigary, Brian Bron, if if there’s anything I’ll say right now, I think we gonna do this the right way. uh you know me and you are gonna uh kick it off and we’re going to do what we do in person just in case y’all didn’t get that that context. We’re building the studio and Brian is going to be in reaching distance so if I got to choke him I can reach out and grab him. You understand what I’m saying? So that’s going to bring a whole different dynamic to the content and what we do there. And um two things my man Will Steels always said this um the talent is there. All All we needed was uh somebody to believe in us and a little bit of funding, you know what I mean? Yeah. And that’s Yeah. We we’ve got uh we’ve got we’ve got people that do believe in us and that’s that’s the key. And but it’s going to take uh it’s going to take a lot of effort and I’m just so excited because I being actually be able to broadcast with you in the in the same space uh and and and and have the opportunity to work with others too. Yeah, you know, guys and gals that are a big big part of what uh you know, what these uh what these channels bring. You know, we’re there’s a lot of folks out there that are super talented and have had got opportunities, others haven’t. Uh I’m going to my vision is to get the best and the brightest. And I know people say that, but in it’s I mean it with my heart. I do want people to feel like when they come to Crown Global Media and watch our shows that they’re getting something out of it. They’re getting that knowledge and they’re getting that understanding and and we’re going to grow this thing and we’re going to make it great. And uh it’s really a lot of it. I’m doing this because like I said, I love the guy I work with every night here. But I also want these fans, these the people that watch us, whether it’s whether it’s here or it’s whether it’s uh you know, love of the star, which I do, or you know, Vaj has his own channel, you know, the subs, everybody that comes on board and just absorbs this on a daily basis. you you’re the reason why you know there there’s there’s an audience out there and you guys have proven time and time and time again that you want more and that’s my vision. I know that’s Vos’s vision. I know that’s our investor’s vision. They are they are uh they’re really excited about this group. But like I said, there’s a lot of work to do in the next three months, but FC and I are going to keep after it, keep you up to date on how the studio is coming and uh when it’s time to have that opening night, uh the bright lights, and Botch always likes to say this, I’m just a guy with a camera and a mic. But now he’s going to have a camera, a mic, TV lights, a nice chair, a big staff, a host, your complimentary breakfast in the back. You know what I mean? Brian, it’s going to be fun. It’s going to be fun. It will be fun. So again, thanks. Thanks for everybody for being so patient uh with me. And uh but again from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the support that you give me and you also give Votch and the others that are about to to do this project because uh it will be a lot of fun. Uh there’s going to be days where we’re gonna get into it pretty extensively, but I promise you one thing, we are not going to uh uh the work will be put into it to make sure that you as a fan are up to speed on everything going on with the Dallas Cowboys, the National Football League, college football, fantasy football. There’s a lot of avenues we’re going to take this thing. You got questions for me on a Friday night, man. Brian, we still got to do a show, man. You know, we just can’t do a do an episode, man. On an announcement, man. We got to get a few people got people what they want, man. Brian, I was sitting around today, man. Thought of some questions for you, Brian. Bro, I think we got some pretty we got some pretty interesting qu there’s a lot of routes that we could go, but I think, man, OTAA is just opening up a a whole another lane of just questioning that we can bring to the party, Brian. Brian, so a lot of this is going to be this or that. True or false? Would you rather type stuff, but um let’s run it, Brian. Bro, we ain’t doing nothing else, man. Brian bro, by the way, man, I I do love your I do love your outfit. Hey, listen, Brian, with the with the with the crown lapel with the crown the crown lapel. Look at you, man. I got the pocket square. I got the suede band on the watch today to kind of accent the blue. There you go. You look great. You look great. All right, let’s fire these questions. Let’s see. Let’s see if I can counteract what you’re about to do to me. [Music] Brian, let me ask you a question, man. If it was up to you, if you had a magic wand. Yeah. You know, just looking at this at this draft class that we just recently, you know, picked and selected, you know, we know that Booker’s going to play a big role in this. Donovan EZ, Revel at some point, we know. And Jaydon Blue, like those first four are pretty much etched in stone. and Brian Brothers. Man, if you had to pick one of the other draft kids, right, from Sheamar James to the undrafted players, if you had to pick one of those guys to be a contributor, they ain’t got, you know, a probo guy, right? And not like teams or nothing like like if Shamar James can play some good linebacker for you, if Toia can play some good one tech for you, if Mafa can play some good running back for you, Brian, which one of those rookies would you rather have outside of their first four to step up and do some day one contributing for you? This is going to sound a little strange, but I really I really want the one technique to come in and play well, but I really I want but I’m going to go a different route. I want Mafa to show up. M I want Mafa to be able to to show up in a way that it makes this staff have to feel about keeping him or is he a pra I I want him to be the reason why they keep him. Sure. Training camp, practices, goal line periods, catching the football, whatever. whatever they do in training camp with him and in the preseason games, whether he’s playing on special teams or where he’s running the ball, but I I had a lot of questions about him. And this is where I it would be easy for me, like I say, to say, well, the the one technique JT, you know, he he needs to be the guy. He needs to beat Mazi out and all that. Yeah, that’s that’s kind of a that’s a nice answer. Yeah, I think it’s a good answer. But if somehow someway they get both blue and mafa Yeah. to be a a combination. Yeah. You know, you got two young guys, a real physical one, kind of a one cut downhill runner. You know, you’re kind of like, wow, well, you know, that’s a powerful guy kind of pulling over tackles. And then you got Blue who’s just, you know, who’s just kind of could be electric. If all of a sudden it turns into blue mafa and then you know with shotty he has been talking about Hunter Lipkkey. So now do you have is that going to be your combination of guys? I don’t know if they carry four backs. I think they’re going to carry three. Sure. I’d like for Williams and, you know, Williams and those guys and Sanders to step up, but I kind of I’m kind of hopeful because I really didn’t see Mafa this way. Sure. But I want to I want to see how they saw him. Yeah, that’s that’s where I want to. So, the stock answer would have been the one technique or the linebacker. Sure. But give me the runner. give me let me see that runner have be a contributor and then all of a sudden it’s like ah okay now I understand why they passed on some of the guys that you and I liked. Sure. You know Krosky Merritt and Allen and those kind of Yeah. Those kind of guys. Yeah. I know you said you got Who do you got? Who do you got on this one? Who do you have? You know, Brian, you you said you didn’t want to do the default answer as the linebacker. the linebacker. Uh James was one of my picks. I had two. James James was like my obvious guy because I feel like if you can get some good linebacker out of him, but then he he he fulfills this vision that they have for him as like an extra pass rusher guy because Overshawn’s hurt, right? And we always think about, hey man, this this pass rush group plus Overshawn. Over may not play for you till November, right? So, if James could do that for you until he gets back and now you got two of these guys that could do that, I think that could benefit you a little bit. But Brian, I did have one deep dive answer, Brian Br. You went for the Auburn tight end, didn’t you? I went for the Auburn tight end, bro. Yo, Brian. Yo. Yo, Brian, we we we we cooworkers for real, Brian. We we right here. I tell you why. Well, first of all, if if the Cowboys tell you anything, they will play undrafted free agent. they’ll put him on the team and a lot of those dudes end up better than the draft pick sometimes. So I so I don’t want nobody in the comments or the chat thinking, well he’s an undrafted free agent. What’s he gonna do? It’s a lot of them on the roster right now and a lot of them play tight end for you right now. But the thing about Farweather is we always root for that John Stevens type guy. You know, we always root for that vertical tight end, that jump ball guy, that power forward type dude, that red zone guy. We always rooted for that. And John Stevens makes a lot of plays in camp and we cross our fingers every single year, Brian. And John Stevens just he doesn’t do his part or he just gets hurt. It’s like his third time getting hurt or you know two or three times getting hurt, Brian. Yeah. So Farweather kind of has an edge there as far as making the making the the team goes. All you have to do is show up, stay healthy, and be a little better than John Stevens. Nobody here drafted John or nobody here, you know, vouching for him or whatever. You have the the vouchers here, right? Lund Wells already told us that he love um you know he loves fair weather and the size and the frame that he has and his ability to go up and get the football. Brian brought us if you mean to tell me all of a sudden we can run out there in some goofy personnel packages where we have two tight ends and and a goal line 12 personnel with Jake on one side, Farweather there, CD somewhere uh and pickings there. Fairweather is now like your least covered guy. Plus, we got run game now because we got guards. Brian, I think Farweather, if he can fulfill that power forward type guy, I think you got a a cool little weapon in the red zone, Brian. Yeah. No, I I like what you’re saying. I mean, I the his ability, the Auburn, man, we we did a lot of work on these, you know, during the college time and we’re watch I think Auburn had a wide receiver that we we had to evaluate fifth round guy. watched. Yeah. Yeah. And and now now you’re you’re watching you’re like, “God, the ball just doesn’t ball can’t get there. Ball’s not hacking.” But you watch Fairweather play and the ones that he did get. Yeah. You know, there were some low adjusting catches. There were catches on the run. There were catches where the pocket broke down and the quarterback’s moving and he’s finding space. Yeah. You know, we you’re right. We fell in love with John Stevens. We fell in love with him and we wanted we were cheerleading and then oh then he gets hurt. Yeah. This is and I think you made the point here a couple weeks ago. John Stevens is fighting for his job against this guy right now. Sure is. You know if he really you know and and and and maybe you know people don’t like when we talk about this because we we brought up the whole thing with Sam Williams. I was reading the comments this morning like oh no Sam Williams the same way. That’s it’s cool. We’re good. But maybe you’re a situation too where you know Span Ford, you know, they gave Span Ford money last year. You know, he played, you know, he kind of got better as the season went on, but you wonder how many tight ends are they going to be able to keep? Mhm. You know, so I I I like what you did with that player. Yeah. And but you know, couple like Schmar James for the linebacker, he’s off to a good start. Sure. Okay. I say off to a good start. We haven’t seen We’ve only seen the one practice. That’s it. That’s it. You know, the other practices he might be like we talked about. Maybe he doesn’t have instincts. Maybe he’s getting lost. Maybe he’s, you know, boy, he’s having a much better start than I thought he was going to have. Brian, I agree. I agree. And I and I But man, I they’re going to need somebody from day three. They’re going they’re going to need to get a little football gods being with them. Yes, sir. That somebody like I like I said, Mafa, I would love I mean I don’t I wanted nothing to do with Mafa. I really didn’t. But but I’m interested to see is he something better than the guys that you and I evaluated maybe in that fifth round that went right around when he went. Yeah. you know, so maybe they see something there. I hope because that would be great if the back situation are two young guys and then maybe it is Hunter Lipkkey, but Williams, we talk about him, he catches, he blocks, you know, so this this I I don’t, like I said, I don’t think that position is done because of think they’re going to can rotate guys in there and like, oh, we need to move on from this guy, that guy, you know, they kind of keep keep playing that game. Yeah. But man, I I I like what you said. I like what you said about the tight end. And I think it’s a position that it’s kind of like we’re feeling okay, but man, if this guy plays at a at a high level and makes your team, boy, that’s feathering his cap and look forward to that, man. Man, Brian, if you can get a Pro Bowl type season, a Pro Bowl type season from Maris Lufile. Wow. Or Kayn Carson. Okay. A Pro Bowl type season. You know what I mean? Like like we you know you you either locking down cornerback too or boy you picked up linebacker real fast and you leading the team in tackles. Brian Bruce. Which which one would you rather have? Le a foul having a Pro Bowl type effort or Kayn Carson having a Pro Bowl type effort. The run defense is always going to be a question mark around here. It seems like Tell you what, Brian. Yeah. You know, if you get a guy that all of a sudden is playing at a very, very high level at linebacker and they can’t block him and he’s making every tackle and maybe maybe instead of five yards a carry, you’re only giving up 3.8, eight something like that, you know, because Maris Leafoul is making every tackle. Yeah, I have more concern about the corners than I do the linebackers. I have concern and I I believed when when Carson was drafted and I’m like, great pick. Sure, that’s a great pick. Great pick. I coming out of college, I’m thinking he’s on my board better than Leafoul. Yep. Likewise. And so I’m sitting there thinking like, well, this guy’s going to compete with uh Jordan Lewis. This guy’s going to be a nickel. He’s going to play on the outside. You know that he’s gonna Bland Diggs Carson. They’re gonna be they’re gonna be fine. They’ll be good. Sure. But if you told me he could have that Pro Bowl that direction where he’s knocking down passes, he’s making tackles, maybe he’s got three interceptions during the year. I’ll take that because I don’t know what’s going to happen. I I’ve heard so many good things about RL in the in the rehab and stuff and potentially when he’s going to come back. I don’t know about Digg’s situation. Uh, but they got to figure that out. Bland, they got to figure out the nickel. They got to figure out what’s going on the other side. We’ve talked about, you know, the other night we talked about Elum and what, you know, could he be that guy? But man, if you told me I could get a Pro Bowl Pro Bowl player out of Carson, I take that right now. How do you feel about that one, man? Brian, if I can get a Fred Warner type dude, man, I’ve been trying to get I I I Yeah, it’s a great question. One of them dudes. I feel like if Leopoul unlocks his full potential, he’s a guy like that from the from the cover standpoint, the instincts being able to get over there and like man, I feel like yeah, if you have a Pro Bowl type corner to go along with Bland and you know, Revel comes back and you can figure out digs at that point, maybe save a little money. I think that’ll that’ll have a great impact on you, Brian. But man, I think it’s so hard to find linebackers like that, like those kind of linebackers. um those those those top tier type dudes. I I I am a 33 year old Cowboy fan, Brian, so I ain’t I didn’t see a whole bunch of people, but if I seen anybody I seen that win and Sha Lee, if I seen anybody I seen that win and Sha Lee, Brian Bro. Yeah. I I would love to have a guy like that that just sees it on it. A guy that’s terrorizing the man. Every time we play San Francisco, man, what you how the hell want to end up over there? Back, Brian. Three plays in a row. Fred Warner stuffing your running back, covering CD Lamb, spying Dak, and sacking him in the back field. Three plays in a row. He’ll beat you by himself. Yeah. Give me one of them cats, man. You ain’t wrong, though. You’re not wrong about No, no. I I I just I I had a I had a hard time. That was a hard one for me because everything you said about Leafoul and how these linebackers affect the defense for sure and you’re right when you play against Green Law and Warner and it’s tough headaches, man. They they they don’t give you they don’t give you any space. They don’t make mistakes. They create turnovers. you know, they’re they’re they’re exactly where they need to be every play. They don’t get knocked out of position. I that the way the way you just described it, right, it’s that’s convincing. That’s convincing to me. I mean, I just I just think that there’s I think they’re I think they’re more capable at linebacker Yeah. with the group than they are right now at corner. And I and if you told me that one of those guys in the secondary could be a Pro Bowl player or work towards being a Pro Bowl type of player. Yeah. Yeah. But that you you you put me in a bad spot there. Yeah. Put me in a bad spot because I’d love for Leaf Foul to be that guy because I kind of feel like that Oversh could be that guy. Sure can. And if overshown if Oversh wasn’t hurt. Yeah. Then then you’re in a situation where he’s he’s doing Pro Bowl type things. Agree. He’s making he’s making Pro Bowl plays. And man, that that right there is that that’s something you got to have. Now, to be fair, I did kind of cheat a little bit. I said Pro Bowl, but I described all pro players. But look, even if you don’t get e even if you don’t get Warner, even if you get that Brian, remember that that first year with uh Vanderes and um Jaylen Smith, even if you get linebacker to that level, I even think that’s valuable. But well, you saying Pro Bowl, but what you’re meaning is Pro Bowl consideration type play. Sure. Sure. Yeah. like like you’re you’re you’re you’re looking at it as okay, this guy halfway through the season, it’s at 10 tackles a game, he makes he makes he he he knocks down passes. We watch the Monday morning film. He’s he’s he’s covering he’s covering Dallas Goddard or they’re trying to run the crossing route and he’s just and they’re and they’re they’re knocking the receiver off and the ball’s incomplete and now you’re getting guys off the field. Yeah, that’s you’re talking about I mean it can have an allp proof can have the consideration of being that type of guy. That’s I I see what you’re doing here. I see what you’re doing. Yeah. Also too, um, me and Brian Bros wake up at five in the morning and read comments. So, if y’all don’t mind, you’ll go down and be can y’all go down like, “Yo, V, I would much rather have this over this or V, my my my rookie to step up is XYZ.” We we love to read those comments and we’ll engage with some of them. So, put them down there. I have I’ve actually gone back and and got into like you say I’ve answered more comments from our show than I have when I go on Twitter. Yeah. And you know I because it’s safe here. It’s safe here. Well, I I don’t think it’s safe. I mean, there’s some people that come after us on some stuff now. Well, that’s fair. That’s cool. But I just also want to remind them that, you know, like, hey, I read what you say. You know, if if you’re trolling, please stop trolling. I mean, I I’ll just I’ll just kind of pass by it. But we’re cool. We’re cool, man. Man, let me take my read this one. Brian, this a tough one. This a tough one right here. So, if you can have an allp protype season, Brian, all pro. Man, I’m looking at these two young offensive players. Brian, I want you to decide. Okay. Allp pro, man. That’s that’s one of 22. If you can have an allp pro season from Jake Ferguson or Cooper BB, who you picking, Brian Bros, to have your all pro season? Cooper BB. Easy. Easy. Tell me why. Easy. Tell me, man. If you have a center, yeah, that can not only first thing the centers always have to do is get the snap. Whether that’s under under center, quarterback exchange, shotgun, consistent, boom, get that every time. Especially with a guy on your nose, able to reach, scoop, second level, pull. If you get a guy that plays really, really, really well in space, And I used to Travis Frederick did this for me. And and if you’ve listened to us long enough, you’ve heard me talk about cutting defenses in half. Yes, sir. And when the ball comes and then where was Travis Frederick? He was either front side and they pushed Martin up to second level or Martin took care of his guy and then Frederick went second level and was there cut his guy off, got him out of the play. out the ball with it with Zeke, you know, Pard, somebody was running the ball up in the scene, you know, and they they were able to do that kind of stuff. I say Pard, I don’t think Pard was part of that, but I mean, he was with Martin. I Darren McFaden or somebody, you know what I’m saying? Darren. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, I was. But you know what I’m talking about with the running back situation. Yes, sir. Uh, DeMarco Murray. Marco Murray. Demar Yeah, DeMarco Murray. How about that? Yeah. So, but that’s the idea. You get you get if you have a center that is capable of handling players by himself, whether the scoops, the reaches, second level, and then also pass block stuff. Huge. Huge. And Ferguson be nice. It’ll be nice. It’d be nice if he had 15 touchdowns, huh, Brian? Yeah. No, it’d be nice. It’d be nice. these tight ends nowadays, they’re huge. There’s huge parts of these offense. But if you told me my secondyear center played at a allpro level, sure, that that’s a no-brainer for me. That’s a no-brainer. And I and I I respect the heck out of Jake Ferguson. I worry about Jake Ferguson now. I do. really banged up last year. You know, the concussion, the knee, all that stuff was a problem. I hope he got past all that, but I don’t know. I worry about him a little bit. I’ll worry I’ll see what, you know, we’ll see what it’s like in training camp, stuff like that. And, you know, maybe he uh you know, maybe he looks like the old Jake Ferguson. But I don’t know. I just think that I hope that I hope he’s not too banged up and the concussion part of it kind of affected him that way. Yeah, Brian, is there a top five or so center that’s not a perennial playoff guy? If you think about the Linder Bombs, Kelsey’s always there or got Creed Humphrey’s all like they’re always in the mix somewhere. Ragnau, they’re always in the mix. It seemed like the guys that have the the centers, those offenses just figure the rest of it out and they’re always in the mix, right, Brian? Yeah, I was thinking about the the one I love is that Creed Humphrey, Kansas City. Yeah. And but I’ll tell you what, man. Damn Ragnau. I if you want to if you want to ask me about a guy that you were that I was wrong about him and for and Travis Frederick. Yeah. I was like, man, I saw that, you know, he was bellyto- belly blocker. Really not, you know, and then you’re like, ah, he never gets damn all he’s done is coming to Detroit and just I mean, they they work so well together and he’s a big part synergy. He’s just so so big big part. But you get you get an allp pro center. Yeah. You can have a really good offense. You have an allp pro. I’m sure there’s somebody out there that is on a bad team that’s a good center. I can’t think of them, Brian. And I can’t and I really for the life of me I know somebody in the comments at 5 in the morning is going to tell me, “Well, you forgot the guy with Jacksonville or somebody like that.” I’m like, “Oh, that dude can’t play. That dude can’t play.” Brian, one day on our on our big on our big touchscreen tablet TV monitors, I’m gonna like I’m gonna break down what it means to cut the defense in half and I think you’ll be proud of me, you know, putting that putting that you’re an old you’re an old lineman, but I I am really looking forward to when we like I say we got our studio. It’s going to be, you know, we’re working on get it all fitted and stuff. We just signed the lease today and I’ve got builders and I got a lot going on right now. Matter of fact, I got things I’ I actually got Oh, hey, I’ve got a Twitch stream. I got a YouTube stream. I’ve got I’ve got all this stuff going. So, so far so good on what we’re doing. But, uh, yeah, I want to create where we get the big screen. Yeah. To be able to break down film for our audience. I want to be able to like maybe make a show once a week where we break down the game and like plays that we saw and this is what happened, you know, and do all that. So, I’m excited about the type of equipment and abilities that we’re going to have in our in our studio there at in Los Kenus. We’ll do it. The best the best idea you’ve had though, Brian, and you have to make sure that this gets done. You need to write this down just in case, is when I is when I show up to work and I walk into the building and I walk into our space, I want to be able to tap the side of the roof that says pod like a champion. We got to be able to have that. Oh, I see what you’re saying. I like that. It’s kind of like in Notre Dame when they say play like a champion and they go down the tunnel. This was your idea. Don’t make it seem like I made this up. This was your idea and I thought it was I’m giving you credit. I thought it was amazing. So, we got to have it. Yeah, we got to I I’ll I’ll create I’ll create something. But I’m really just to tie things up. Just super super super excited about it and just so proud of you know the work. Thank you. I thank you. You’ve given me you’ve given me energy to do this. you gave me energy to go and like man just go do this don’t you know and you know the chance I got to work with you and how I’ve been working with you and and others the will steals and you know and Morrison’s and you know all these people that have had just that have welcomed me and that that’s made me want to go out and we’re very very fortunate that we have folks that support us and want to be a part of what we’re doing and you know one really big supporter out there too that so really excited about what we got going forward. Oh, you’re not done with your questions. I Oh, hold on, Brian. We got Look, we only 36 minutes in. I’m going to take us to 45. I got a couple more questions. I’m sorry. I was doing my I was doing my thanking everybody spiel. I’m I’m sorry, folks. I I’m so I’m I’m so excited, but I I don’t want to be like jumping up and down like I was earlier today. I’m trying to trying to calm myself down. Jump up and down. Don’t worry about I put a suit on for work tonight. You did. You did a great job. Thank you. [Music] I was thinking to myself, man, I was just pontificating. I was writing down numbers with my fancy fountain pen. I was just trying to figure it all out. around. I’ll just ask you. I could have used I could have used your pen today when I had to sign documents for sure. That would have been fire cuz the ink wouldn’t smear or nothing. It’d be perfect. Wouldn’t smear. Won’t smear. No smearing of ink. It’d be perfect. Brian, I’mma ask you like I was talking to myself when I thought about this question. I was like, damn V, man. What? I wonder what a satisfying statline would be for Cavante Turpin at wide receiver. We hear these people say these coaches come up here and say, “Hey man, we got to get Turpin going. We got to find a way to get Turpin going.” Brian, what’s the stat line to where me and you at the end of the 2025 season into into the 2026 postseason? What’s the stat line for Cavante Turpin is going to make us say, “I’ be damned. They figured out how to use Turpin this year.” I’m trying to figure that out right now. On top of pickings and lamb and running. Yeah, that’s what I was doing. Uh I tell your mind while you’re right, Brian. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead then. Go ahead. I’ll see I’ll see how close I was to you. I think I think 450 receiving yards and 250 rushing yards will be just fine. Yeah, I think that is adequate use of Turpin. I think that’s a couple of big plays. I think that’s some pretty decent consistency and usage or whatnot, it’s it’s it’s definitely going to be tough because you got other wide receivers around him. But if Turpin can give you like what I say 400 receiving yards, like 200 something rushing yards, I think that’s a pretty good year for Turban. Yeah. I I was kind of thinking because I was thinking receiving numbers. Sure. And I was kind of thinking if he could average like 15 yards a reception. Sure. Yeah. just kind of that’s is that is that really too ambitious with him because look he going to go on the field make a big play and come right back off like he he he might be averaging somewhere close to that now he might like like nine or 10 or something like that now that’s that’s that’s about what he is yeah yeah I just I was kind of thinking like if you had a guy that had say how many catches like I don’t know his numbers from last year did he have he had 15 to 25 something like that see I was thinking somehow if you got him between 35 and 40. Is that possible? If you were to get him between 35 and 40 receptions for the year, see, but I I was start thinking like average that about 15 yards. Well, Brian, damn. Okay, how about this, Brian? You ready? You ready to hear something? Go ahead. You ready to hear something? Gavvonte Turpin last year got 52 targets for 31 catches. There we go. 420 yards. He averaged 13.5 yards a catch. Okay. Yeah. Two touchdowns. As far as rushing, he had 16 carries and 92 yards. It’s Yeah. Yeah. So, we up here complaining about Turpin got moment in him. Turpin can go. Yeah. That that Turpin I was thinking, you know, somewhere between 35 and 40 catches. Maybe it’s somewhere between 40 and 45 catches. See, Brian, this is what Turpin does, right? Versus the Ravens, three catches, 51 yards. versus the uh Steelers, four catches, 50 yards. Uh Falcons, three catches, 36 yard. This one’s funny right here. Houston, three catches, 86 yards. So, he’s gonna be chunk guy. He’s going to be big play guy. Come on. Come off. You’ve got to use that guy more, right? I do. See, there’s there’s a couple of things I’m looking at here. I just don’t want I don’t want Shotti not to use George Pickins the right way. That’s fair enough. You you you can’t throw George Pig the ball because you want to throw the turf. That’s fair. Yeah. I know, but I’m but I’m just sitting there thinking like I’m not I’m just like use all these weapons. You you know find a way. Yeah. Don’t don’t don’t let us get to week six and we’re starting to talk like Pickkins like Brandon Cooks. I don’t want to go there. But I think there’s every time you put the ball in Turpin’s hands Yeah. good things have been happening. Good things have happened. So, I just kind of I if you could I was like I was thinking 3540. Maybe it’s more like 40 45. Yeah. On the reception. And I’m not just talking about screens and stuff like that, but I’m talking about ways throw some post throw some post over. Yeah. Just he he proved he can make plays down the field. Yeah. So, I But please, please, Shotty, don’t don’t let this offense just we’re we’re now having discussions about, well, they can’t get the ball to Pickkins. They can’t get the ball to Turpin. The scheme’s not allowing that to happen. I’m like, please don’t let that be what you and I are discussing this football season. Yeah. I don’t want I I don’t. But man, I I I would I would and I’m not talking about forcing the ball to Chirpin, but man, I’m playing him in situations where he’s going to be a pain in the ass for the defense to have to deal with. For sure. Yeah. Appreciate you, Brian, bro. It’s a great show, sir. Thank you, man. Appreciate you. Thank again for Thank you for all you’ve done for me. And thank you to your fans for what they’ve done for me, too. They’ve given me a they give me a lot of energy to do this and I’m so excited. I keep saying that but um we got a we got a really a great future ahead of us doing this with Crown Global Media. We’ve got got the talent. We’re going to have the facilities. We’re going to have the ability to to to put together quality podcasts, you know, with a lot of information with the way we can use these touchcreens and talk about players and break down plays and stuff. We are definitely going to be your uh your go-to guys for this and go-to guys and gals. We’re gonna have both. So, looking forward to that. Hey, man, if I can work as a bit of a talent scout to get the best people up in here, just trust me, Brian. We going to get it done. Well, I think there’s a lot I think there’s a lot of folks that deserve opportunities. I really do. We used to always dream of a day, you know, me and my content people, we used to always dream of a day where the YouTube people, radio.com, and like the newspaper people could all come together and make content. Yeah. For whatever reason, it just don’t always work out that way, Brian B. It just just people just won’t let that happen. But, uh, this is me, what me and you do is a prime example of, uh, what happens when when, um, two presences can collide. You know, I I the fact that you’re on with us at dallascowboys.com, I think it’s one of the greatest things I was talking to Derek about it. He is so excited. You know, he was talking about and I said, “Hey, boss, great job of getting Baj convinced to come on.” And he’s like, “Man, I’ve been wanting to do this.” And I’m like, “Yeah, it’s cool.” But there are there’s plenty of microphones and cameras for all of us to get together and talk. Yeah, there really are. And I’m just excited that we’re able to create a platform where folks will have an opportunity. They really, really will. I’m And I’m looking forward to it. I really am. What a rent do, Brian Bro. So, so something going to have to happen. You feel me? Something going to have to happen, right? Trust me, man. I If you’re interested, just get a hold of me. I’m going to put my number out there. Interesting. Got some sponsorship opportunities. I’m doing We need them. We need them. We need But but we’ll be fine. We’ll be fine. Brian Bros, believe it or not, I’m gonna go watch some Dallas Stars hockey now. What’s the score? What’s the score now? Uh three-0 again. Uh and we’re still at the end of the second period. I because I’m learning that they got three halftime or two halftimes. Oh, so Dallas is down three nothing. Dallas is down three nothing at the end of the second period or going towards the end of the second period or whatever. So it ain’t nothing cuz my stars have seen that before. It’s all good. This this is this this might be a tough one to come back. I thought Dallas was going to win tonight 4-2, but obviously you were gonna get Edmonton’s best efforts. So, who who knows what that even means? Got a third period. Got a third period. Who knows? Got a third period. Third period. Hey, we appreciate y’all for tapping in. Please uh if y’all have any any responses or retorts uh to any of the questions that we put out today, please put them in the comments. Brian’s going to wake up at 5 in the morning. It’s Saturday, so I wake up around 7, but we are both still going to read them. Okay. And um thank y’all so much. Thank y’all so much. Uh be sure to tell everybody uh what’s going on here and just look out for it. We’re going to have a YouTube page and the branding is going to show. Oh no. Yeah, we got Yeah, we got everything getting on, like I said, YouTube, Twitch, uh all our streaming stuff, Facebook, what else I got? Uh uh with Twitter, Tik Tok. I’ve got them all. I’ve got them all already ready to go. So, we’ll be on a lot of platforms. And then uh even working on potentially uh working into uh foreign languages is something we’re working on, too. That’s all, man. Shouts out to AI. Hey, y’all be sure to follow me on Twitter, V O C H L O N B A R D II. I’ll be talking about something. You definitely need to be tapped into BR Y and Broad. He’s going to be giving you updates on all this stuff as it happens. So, y’all definitely tap in with him. And uh y’all hold it down. Until next time, we love y’all to pieces. All right. If anyone wants to understand what is happening in the media world, just look at Voch & BB. They are REAL. They are not corporate air brushed mumbling the same garbage. The bring it , real content with their heart. Well done fellas and Good luck!
I actually think Phil Mahfa is going surprise, you Bryan and Voch congratulations
You guys are the best. Period.
Carolina Panthers have a good center but their lines sucks in general
Voch did not know you were in Dallas, EXCITING!
👑👑👑👑👑👑
Congratulations yall! Big things coming.
If we can have the undrafted DT keeping LBs clean in run defense… plus Carson locking down slot or WR #2? Plus you can't double CD/Pickens so all the RBs including Maffa are getting light boxes? Golden Corral.
If you could add any non allpro or pro bowl cowboy from history to this team, who would it be? Scandrick could fix a lot of problems on defense imo
LETS GOOO!!!!!! 👑👑
Why is there smoke about Diggs, he is the best corner in the NFL That tracks the ball and able to look back while covering the WO. There is no better CB on the team when he is healthy, and he has great hands Better than most WO. NO other corner on the team is better. I hope the Media and Cowboyz coaches do not make him feel like he is not wanted. Bland does not track and is not able to look back while covering the receiver. we all saw that last season,
I want JT and other DTs we have to show they willing to give us everything they have . JT, Justin, the other DT in drafted this year
Congratulations 🎉.. I’ll be along for the journey.. love listening to you both..
CONGRATULATIONS Gentlemen. May GOD bless your venture!!!
