But guys, hope everyone’s doing well. We got the Phillies and the A’s going at it in this one. Uh, this will be game three of the series. We saw game one. The Philly squeaked out a 4 to3 win on Friday. And then game two happens on Saturday evening. I’m recording this Saturday afternoon, so I don’t know what the result of that game will be. But for this one, it looks like we got Mr. Lazardo on the mound and for the Phillies and then Gunnar Hogland on the mound for the Athletics. You know, Gunnar Hogland, I liked how he looked in his first two starts of this uh season, but he did get smacked up by the Dodgers in his last start. Don’t get me wrong, it’s the Dodgers, you know, the most talented lineup in the league, but you know, he gave up three bombs, seven hits, four earned runs total. Not the best start for Hogland. And now he has another tough matchup going against this Phillies team who is on a nice roll right now. The Phillies have won eight straight games. Don’t get me wrong, they played a series against the Rockies and then the series before that they played the Pirates. So, very easy competition that this Phillies team has been playing as of late, but you know, they have been playing good. And I will say one thing about the Phillies, man, they’ve been a really solid road team this season. 16- 10 straight up on the road, whereas the Athletics have really struggled in this ballpark in Sacramento. They come into this one 8 and 18 straight up at home, which kind of surprised me. I thought they would have had a better um home record than that. But yeah, I mean, the Athletics, it’s been a kind of a tough streak for them. They’re 0 and 10 in their last 10 games. Um let’s see, when’s the last time the Athletics have won a game? They won a game against the Yankees on May 10th. Oh, no. They beat the Dodgers on May 13th and then since then it’s been a a brutal losing streak for this athletic team. I do like the Phillies in this one. I do. It’s just how are we going to play it? How are we going to play the Phillies? I mean, while I’m recording this, it’s minus 189. Of course, we don’t want to take the money line. Um, I looked at the run line. Even now, you got to pay some juice. Minus 115 for the run line. Don’t love paying juice on a run line. I think I want to target the first five here, guys. I think Philly’s first five minus half a run is how I want to target this one. I think the Phillies bats will have success off Hogland. I think they will um tack in a few runs off him early. And then Jesus Lazardo has just been on fire this season. Comes in with the 195 RA. Um he’s been one of the best pitchers in the league so far this season. 5-0 record. I think if we could get if he could get some early run support, this first five should be uh nice nice and easy.
