  1. That game turned around when I started drinking. Bottom line is I need to drink alcohol more I guess

  2. Twins fan here, coming is peace.

I just want to say… congratulations on the win! And what a great series! Every game could have gone the other way. It feels like every single year when these two teams play, each game is so damn close, even regardless of the teams’ records. The Royals and Twins, it’s really a great rivalry, without much of the vitriol we commonly see between some fan bases.

You have a very good team, with maybe the best heart of the lineup in the AL in Witt, Pasquatch, and Salvy. There’s so much baseball left to play this summer — and so many more games for both of our teams to play against the White Sox! Last year the Royals proved they’re a legitimate playoff contender — unlike the Twins, they made it to the postseason! And this year is looking really good, too.

So let’s hope the AL Central stays competitive all year, where we can have plenty of exciting games, and just maybe we’ll see three or four teams from our division going to the postseason… and then proceed to beat the damn Yankees and Astros!

  3. Some one dumb it down for me and explain why they bader take flight with 2 outs and runner on 3rd?

  4. The day is coming, and it’s coming soon, when we might see perfect Boobs.

  5. Waaaay harder than it needed to be, but we got the win. This twins team is no joke, every game is so important. On to the next one

  6. good to see that being really needy to win a game actually led up to a win

  7. Vinnie has to love the Twins’ ballpark.

Overall we got lucky at the end but because of great defense by Bobby the runners Clarke put on didn’t rip the game open again.

It would still be more favorable if they didn’t leave as many on base as today and if they could win by more than 1 run.

  8. That was too close for comfort but I won’t complain about a win. Go Royals.

  9. Despite what the doomers may say the royals are still 4-3 on the twins this year and there’s still over 100 games left. A very good chance that we may never lose again

  10. Man, after the last two games, this win feels especially sweet. I know that these were coin flip games that didn’t fall our way, which baseball being baseball happens not infrequently, but after the high of Wednesday the walk-offs hurt. We needed that. Go Royals.

  11. 3 hit pitching for our guys. Waters 3 hits Pasquatch 2. Another big clutch hit for Fermin. He needs to play more.

  12. if you were a top position player prospect, you gotta love playing your first 6 AAA games in a great hitters park like the 4000+ft above sea level Salt Lake City

  13. We lead the season series against the twins 4-3. Won’t be seeing them again till August
