If we really need that 3 mil yea. He’s a great value 3rd pt guard. If we could get anything for him and Tech then for sure trade them. We need a three point shooter at the back up PF spot.
I like sasser hopefully he takes another step in development be back up pg or just get more pt as combo guard got the skills we need and he cheap
Too undersized to be an effective 2 guard.
Why would we keep Sasser & re-sign Schroeder? What is the point in having 2 undersized point guards, and talk of playing them together?
I would try and package sasser and Fontecchio just to see what we could get because we need to do all the cheap and affordable upgrades we can from players we don’t use in the playoffs
There is no role for him on this team, especially if we bring back Schroder and Beasley, the best use of him could be a trade to help out the PF position, he cant play PG and hes too small to play alongside Schroder off the bench, he could play next to Cade but he sure isnt going to start and whos minutes is he going to take? Not Ivey, Schroder or Beasley, he doesnt fit this team rn
Sasser doesn't have to be a point guard, though. The NBA is so different now that it really are no positions. His position is off the bench bucket who makes plays for others sometimes. Like Vinnie Johnson used to be…Bad Boys😊
He was a late 1st rd pick. That being said he has to go I'll package him with a player and a 2nd to see if we can move up a few spots to a late 1st
