I don’t think Doris knows that free-throw merchant is a derisive term and not a compliment about his ability to draw fouls.

Well if you actually listened to the broadcast you would hear then discuss how his stats dont reflect this narrative and Reggie Miller claims he played the same way he did and averaged more free throws in the playoffs. They’re just talking about how star players strategically draw fouls not saying if its true or false
