The aura
Shias a smart guy. He’d do the same thing. Respect the hustle and don’t complain. Complaining doesn’t solve shit. Play the game in front of you.
This is so funny. Can’t imagine not liking SGA.
He’s completely unfazed and composed as can be, just no way they don’t steamroll the rest of the way
Smart by the fan yes, but still gotta be some kinda interference rule for that kinda situation right? Never seen something like that in the NBA, more so MLB
My boy’s wicked smaht
He’s a good guy tbh guys getting way too much hate all of a sudden
Shai thinking about how our fans can give the thunder another edge. Thank you 🤣
SGA to fan: how could you do something so controversial yet so brave?
Having the MVP calling you smart would be a lifetime highlight. Like when Luka told me to shut the fuck up when walking into the tunnel. I’ll never forget.
Game knows game
Did the ball hit Rudy’s pinky?
how can u hate this man
Happens when you beat r/nba’s poster boy
This should have been the top highlight on Reddit instead of foul merchant
Why was it considered smart?
Is the rule that the clock stops once it touches a fan?
How can you hate this man?
A real MVP would have wrestled the fan for the ball.
Did anyone on this sub ever why they put .3 back on the clock when it showed .6 in the fans hands?
Patrick Ewing stopped and stood over my friend and I (we were teenagers) and said “what’d you say motherfucker?” before having to be pulled away by security. He had been ejected in Sacramento and my friend was yelling boo and doing a thumbs down motion as he passed us going into the tunnel. He took offense to that and came back to confront us. I was the one sitting closest to him and he literally blocked out the lights at Arco Arena as he towered over us with sweat dripping off his face. We even made Sportscenter that night which we realized when we went to a sports bar after the game.
SGA’s move when he was on the ground to just throw the ball as far as he could in the air was very smart as well. Instead of waiting for the defence to collapse and force a jump ball, or losing it trying to pass or do almost anything else with it. Just get rid of the thing in the other direction.
Pretty funny to be having fun with the opposing teams fans when you’re trying to seal an important playoff game that isn’t over yet
SGA quickly understood the ref’s ruling and called the good play of a fan opposing him. MVP just got a bit more credibility with me.
Funny Rudy changes the trajectory of the ball, should have been OKC ball anyway.
Damn do I like sga now?
Why was it smart ?
Considering how the fan interference could have gotten the Wolves another chance, I think it’s pretty impressive that Shai is just able to shrug it off like that and even praises it lol
I feel like SGA would do this same thing to each of our Reddit comments everyday in r/NBA. Mine for sure.
I knew this series was over during Game 3 when OKC was getting blown out by 40 and SGA was mic’d up on the bench talking to teammates how this is good to get humbled and further explained why they lost this game and what changes to make.
He was calm, relaxed, and methodical.
Not gonna lie, I’ve seen a few non basketball clips like this of Shai. After this one, I went from semi-hater to fan. He’s locked in over every angle.
Man can hoop at the tippy top level and is a genuine human being.
