1. I think if the Stars concentrate on what makes them successful and play physical they’ll make it to the Stanley Cup Final. Jake Oettinger stopped the bleeding 🩸 kept them in the game after it was 3-1 in the second period. Amazing Comeback, game 2 is gonna be a physical battle. They’ve got some things they need to clean up and do better next game. The depth is starting to show up hopefully it keeps rolling. The Tyler Seguin breakaway was pretty awesome to watch and I’m sure it felt good to him as injured 🤕 as he’s been lately.. lower body injury.

6. This truly felt like a team effort in the third period. The first two were pretty bad though. I get it, new team, new series. But they have got to get into the game quicker. They need to pressure the other team more often. Edmonton lived in the O-zone the first two periods. They needed this win far more than Edmonton did. They need to keep home ice and they need to push McDavid further toward the boards also. Driving down the middle of the ice and where his bread and butter is, and he will make you pay more often than not. It was awesome though to see multiple players get involved. This looked like the Stars team we watched early on in the season.

7. Look at Pete Deboers reaction late in the game when we hit the empty net and game was won. No reaction. Love that!! Look at this game as a loss and play that way game 2. No reason to celebrate right now

9. This series starts and stops at the fact it’s Otter vs Skinner. McDavid will have to be other worldly for them to win and he probably will of 1-2 games but this isn’t going past 6 games

10. That was really classless at the end of the game by the Oilers. For a truly classy team, that was really disappointing. Perry should be ashamed of himself. I mean seriously man, "scoreboard". No idea what they were try to accomplish there. Stars have to play a full 60 minutes to win Game 2. You can't show up for just the third period!!

15. Dallas needs to let jamie benn be a menace on mcdavid and distract him from scoring. Hard to focus on scoring if jamie benn is trying to throw hands on ya 😂

16. Please review that 1st Oilers goal. On that possession, off sides should have been called, play should have been stopped. I believe there was an Oilers shot on goal, another Oiler caught the rebound and passed it back to their defenseman. Right then, the puck crossed the blue line, coming OUT of the Oilers offensive zone. Linesman missed it too.

17. The Stars were playing in slow motion the first 2 periods. It was hard to watch. Im glad they played with urgency in the 3rd. I hope that this will unlock the team for the rest of this series.

18. Come on Joey… ya don't "take" goals away and say if you take 3 pp goals away the score is 3-3 and if you take away an empty netter away the score is 3-2 Oils. If you going to play that game (pun intended) then take away the Oils pp goal and the score is 2-2.

19. Sloppy play and a slow start. I was not worried about this game because I’ve seen this before. Unfortunately I had start work at 3am today so I couldn’t stay up for the game. I wish I could have! I watched the first period and some of the second. After the Seguin breakaway goal I was like same ol Oilers. Having to outscore their mistakes. Dallas have a legit shot at winning this series before game 7. They just have to consistently test Skinner. And capitalize on Edmonton’s mistakes.

20. 3 PP under 5 min, and people are cheering Dallas "player better" ??? How about this is quite astonishing, and border line game manipulation? Oilers were stomping Dallas until the refs changed the outcome. Bunch of cheaters as usual, just like vs the Jets.

25. The Dallas Stars are, as the cool kids say, clutch. This Stars team is a clutch moment team, they will find a way to win, and this is why I believe we will win a cup this year. They always find a way.
