MLB Highlights | Blue Jays vs. Rangers – May 27, 2025
And Bette swinging and he hits it hard and down the left field line. That will snap that 0 for 18 and he glides into second with a well struck [Applause] double. Guerrero sends one high and deep right center field. And back on the track to make the catch is Langford. Bette of course can easily tag and come to third. And he gets him swinging and picks up out number [Applause] two. Grounded down to third and the lead off double by Bette. Cannot come [Music] home. A 263 hitter on the season. He goes after the first pitch, pops it up, and Bette will, excuse me, Clement will go out to get it. He brings some good recent numbers into this game as well, and he’ll send one high in the air down the right field line. Santandere, a long run towards the corner. He’ll make the catch. The runner is tagging and is in there ahead of the throw. Langford the lead at second. A look back by Francis and he got him. A swing and a miss and a strike out for Francis to strand a runner at second here in the bottom of the first. Second most in baseball now. Here’s a good swing by George Springer. Speaking of hard hit balls and he is digging for second and is in there ahead of the throw. Oh, good contact, good hustle, and a leadoff double for Springer to left center field and caught. The two outfielders almost came together. It’s the rookie [Applause] Osuna and a swing and a miss to get Clement. Two down. They had a big strike out in the first inning of Dalton Basher. I guess another popped up foul territory and playable caught by Young. And again, the Blue Jays can’t capitalize, give him a little energy. Strike three called as Francis gets him. Yeah, it’s good start for Bowen who has really worked on ironing out his mechanics and off of Bow and Francis 12 of the 15 home runs and he’s faced more lefties than righties but not by a a huge amount. He tied him up and he struck him out. So, Hy misses a home run by a few feet and then Francis comes back to strike him out. And now right down the middle with a fast ball that Santandere takes for strike [Applause] three. And there’s a fast ball at 95 right on the corner to end the top of the fourth. Strike three called a fast ball at the bottom of the zone. Two down. Well, that is a terrific sign for Basters. He is hitting his spots now. An RBI double to Addison Barger. Swing and a miss. Lads gets Stefanic out number one. Not going. And a swing and a miss. And Lance gets Bette. [Applause] not going and a swing and a miss. Francis strikes out Garcia on three pitches. And a swing and a miss. He strikes out another one. And that fast ball was 95 m an hour. Draws a throw and back safely. And Guerrero is pointing to the dugout. And there he goes. Taken. Kirk’s throw. Not in time. Stolen base. Hagerty. And it’s into center. A base hit. And the Rangers have the lead. Runner from first goes again. Throw to third and it’s in left. And another run comes in. And that strike three called. That’ll end the inning. But the Rangers have the first two runs of the night. They take a two to nothing lead to the night. And that’s the ball game. Boy, that’s a frustrating one for John Schneider and the Blue Jays to have all the chances they they had, all the base runners they had, and eventually Texas broke through with two in the bottom of the eighth to even up the
The Toronto Blue Jays couldn’t get their bats going as they suffered a 2-0 shutout loss at the hands of the Texas Rangers.

Jays suck
The Blue Jays have got to be the most frustrating team to watch.
Maybe they’re just mediocre?
Jays suck
Eovaldi leaving due to ''tricep fatigue'' is a scam, as the Jays would've eventually battered him (based on previous meetings).
