Are the Washington Nationals Actually a Good Team? | MLB Power Rankings Tease (5/25/25)

Honorable mention number two, bet you didn’t know this one was coming. The Washington Nationals. Yeah, they’re seven and three in their last 10 and they’re only a game and a half behind the Braves for third in the NL East. Um, a lot of people have been talking about the Braves run that they’ve made, but the Nationals are right there with them. Jake Irvin and McKenzie Gore might be the most underrated one two starting pitcher punch starting pitcher duo in all of baseball. I think you’re going to be hearing a lot more about them in the years to come. And then CJ Abrams and James Wood. They’re both batting over 300 in the last 30 days, providing the average and the power that they need. They have a west coast trip to the Seattle Mariners and the Arizona Diamondbacks that if they can somehow take advantage of this could push them towards 500.
