  1. Mahomes reached to my eye his statistical peak in his last MVP year.
But imo he absolutely has alot more to go in terms of cerebral peak.
He's still young I expect him to have atleast 2 or 3 more years like his MVP years and many more above average seasons. Hell last year his low was still a peak for mediocre QBs.

  2. You don't comeback from a beat down like they received in the Superbowl and we seen all year there slipping!!!! Barely won most of there games that easily could have went either way so yeah the kingdom has fallen and if you are having trouble believing that because last time you said that the chiefs won again miss me with that if you didn't see it in the Superbowl then you don't know football 🏈😂

  3. They got so lucky in 2024. I don’t think they will be able to recreate that luck. 9-12 wins probably. I think the other AFC west teams are only getting better, which means a 1st in the division will not be a gimme.

  4. Huge Chiefs fan and every point made about our offense I totally agree. Mahomes has been off and I think a lot of it has to do with declining o-line play and I don't think we all realized how much of an effect Tyreek Hill had on that offense. Hopefully this Worthy guy can bring some of that 2019/2020 offense we had into 2025. But as much as I hate to say it, I think it'll be too hard to get back to the big game again. Bills, Broncos, Chargers, Ravens, and Bengals are all going to be way better this year. Wouldn't be surprised if we didn't make it past the divisional round of the playoffs this year. The AFC is stacked with great teams.

  5. Every year we do this same song and dance just for the chiefs to end up back in the Super Bowl and the bills/ravens doing thier yearly disappearing act in the playoffs

  6. The clip of Kingsley at 10:06 looks really bad, but you can see how upset Mahomes was because Carson Steele was supposed to go left and chip the DE. He was expecting the chip, so he set up more inside, but when help didn't come, he was easily beat around the edge. I still have hope he can be a good guard or RT someday.

  7. Chiefs O-line should be better next year. They finished the season essentially without Thuney as he was playing out of position and replaced him with a bad guard

They signed a tackle and drafted a tackle this year, and drafted 3 interior O-lineman the year before. They should be better on the O-line

  8. The chiefs glaze is crazy. Especially coming from the dude who refused to acknowledge the refs helping the chiefs in both of their playoff wins, this analysis missed. The chiefs are simply not a good team and should’ve missed playoffs last year, and got worse this offseason.

  9. What’s amazing is how well the Chiefs have held up over the last several years. They’ve drafted fairly well despite not really being in prime spots to get top talent. They’ve added really good FA pieces. When you add in the fact that the Chiefs are probably the best coached team over the last 7 years, I’d call their run remarkable. But, there will be a slide. I really think that with deft drafting, solid FA pickups, and a great succession plan for Andy Reid, the Chiefs could have a second run in a few years. Think the 2011-2018 Patriots.

  10. The Chiefs got so many game changing calls go their way last season. It was so bad I started to agree with the conspiracy theories about the refs and KC. Seriously every week

  11. Jesus people do not know how to analyze games. Mahomes put up a better year than lamar jacksons 2023 MVP season with less total turnovers more wins and more injuries on his side of the ball while lamar has a triple crown defense. If you can't comprehend that he was playing with guys that he didn't know what they were going to do because Worthy was a rookie. He couldn't anticipate what the receivers were going to do on a play by play basis. You are clearly unrealistic

  12. Your points about Mahomes are valid but I think his declining statistics are more complicated than you how present them. Teams are getting a lot more experience and a lot more tape on him and are adjusting their defenses accordingly. The Chiefs have been relying on their passing offense more than their running offense, so it's getting to be more predictable to play against them. Vic Fangio just showed the blueprint on how to beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, and since the Chiefs didn't go out and get a star RB (a pretty good counter to a defense that never blitzed), teams will likely adopt a similar strategy this year causing the Chiefs to have a worse record than last year (on top of likely having fewer fluke wins). While it's less measurable, I think there's also an element of defenses playing up to competition against the Chiefs since Mahomes has become the league's boogeyman. People want to ignore Bieniemy leaving the team as a component of the offense's regression since it's "Andy's offense and Andy's plays" but there correlation is still there. Nagy has not been getting the job done and I think we'll continue to see this issue until a better OC comes in.

  13. I could make a 2 hour compilation of the referee bias against teams the last 6 years in favor of the chiefs, its ridiculous

  14. Prime kelce and Prime hill have carried mahomo his whole Carear, Allen, Burrow or Lamar will exspose him in the playoffs next year

  15. Fantastic time for Andy Reid to go ahead and retire. Has nothing to prove. Already has his rings. He could he going out on top. The division is only going to get harder to win in, and it risks tarnishing his legacy. I'm just a concerned fan, folks
