Eriq Gardner of Puck News revealed that Williamson has been accused of rape. A woman claiming to be his ex-girlfriend filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles on Thursday. 

Williamson has been accused of showing "abusive, controlling, and threatening behavior" toward the plaintiff. 

"This was submitted to Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday: NBA superstar Zion Williamson accused of rape. Plaintiff says she was in a dating relationship with him at Duke—before it got abusive," Gardner wrote on X.

  7. Somehow it’s worse than it sounds. Allegedly he threatened to have his paid security guard shoot the Plantiff in the head, same with the Plantiff’s parents

  17. This dude had all the hype and potential in the basketball world. But threw a fit when he had to go to New Orleans and has never bought into being the superstar he could be. Consistently overweight, bad attitude CJ called out, never plays, pornstar drama, and now this. Sucks to see how his NBA career has turned out. He wants to be a superstar but doesn’t wanna put in the work. Like Ronnie Coleman said “everyone wants to be a body builder nobody wants to life the heavy ass weight”

  27. Man. It’d be so nice if Zion wasn’t dumb as a fucking rock. I’m not even saying he’s a rapist – maybe he is, but maybe he isn’t, hopefully we get real clarity on that. But when you look at his, uh, romantic history, he is indisputably a fucking dummy.

  28. It’s usually hard to prove that when you are in a relationship, she had better hope she documented it and he was dumb enough to admit to it/apologize for it in texts or a voicemail.

    Is Zion currently a positive asset? He’s a on max contract and out of 6 seasons in the NBA he’s only managed to play at least 60 games in 2 of them.

    His game doesn’t seem to have grown all that much since he entered the league, he appears to have lots of off court distractions, I can only imagine the disappointment of Pelicans front office and fanbase. Zion when drafted was looked at as a generational talent.

    Now? He’s a footnote or a headline like this…

  29. Jay Z and Rex Orange County are two recent examples of people accused of rape where it was complete bullshit. A lot of you need to shut the fuck up until everything is settled.

  30. Is it wrong for me to give most players the benefit of the doubt when they are sued for rape instead of charged with rape — especially when they haven’t had a history of such things previously?
