Being in the playoff picture in April was not even close to my expectations for this year, let alone up until game 81.

So far yeah. We will see how long he can keep the locker room together but I like the brand of hockey he wants the team to play and I think we have enough skill and toughness to execute on it we just need experience and goal tending, or maybe just experience because both Elvis and Jet are young and have room to grow.

I would die for this man. So yes.
In the final post game of the season, watching him get teary when talking about the guys in the locker room, and then pissed a minute later that we missed the playoffs is exactly why he’s right for the job.

Kind of cool that he didn’t take shots at the team after the season ended like a certain someone from Dallas
Dean Evason told Fantilli to cut the fancy shit out and turned him into a 30 goal-scoring 2-way centerman. The last time we had a young center score 30 goals was 21 year old Ryan Johansen in 2013-14. Fants did it at 20.
Last year Vincent’s dumb ass had him playing 3rd line winger by the end of the season.
This man got us within a hair’s breadth of the post-season, so yes.
