LIVE: Knicks vs Pacers Game 6 | 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Finals 🔥 May 31, 2025 2K25
You’re exactly right, BA. And I think that’s where the game’s going to ultimately be decided. I mean, we have to see which set of these bigs is going to impose their will, not just offensively, but defensively, too. Now, New York starting five. Carl Anthony Towns is out there with Ojanobi. Then it’s Male Bridges. Then there’s Mitchell Robinson. And it’s Brunson in at the point. Now here’s Matherin. Five on the clock. shoots over Anobi. The rebound by Bridges. Here’s Brunson. And the layup falls. Now, he may only be 6’1, but Brunson plays much bigger than that. I mean, he plays with a physicality. Hallebertton finds Seakkum. Back to Hallebertton. Nice spin off the left rim and in. Pick works well there, but the defense left a lot to be desired. Yeah, that’s not the defense you need. You got to be tougher defensively. Now here’s Brunson. No good with a layup. Well, you got to miss sometimes, but that one seemed like a gimme. To the inside. Here’s Seakkum and some solid defense from [Applause] Towns. Bridges outside. Pass to [Applause] Anobi. Brunson with it. Defended by Hallebertton. And it’s Brunson missing. The Pacers have gone one for three so far. Turner. A screen on Bridges. Nimhard. the pass to [Applause] Turner and he can’t get that one. Good work defensively by Robinson. All right, let’s get a report from Alli. Rick Carile and I got a chance to talk for a bit and it’s no surprise that Jaylen Brunson is at the top of the scouting report. Coach told me Jason is a three-level scorer and a master of the pick and roll. And no matter what you do, you can’t speed him up. He’s going to read the defense, play at his pace, and try to pick you apart. It’s always a chess match against Brunson, guys. Okay, good stuff. Thank you, Ally. Aggressive mindset, but the defender just as determined to send him away empty-handed. Here’s Bridges. Oh, and makes it with the kiss. Yeah, relentless worker. Bridges so tough inside. Hallebertton. The pass to Deart. Seakkum outside. Sends it home from three-point land. And that’s what they want to do. Get him open looks early. And we’ll have a timeout called by Tom Pivot. He’s going to gather the troops and talk it over. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat up [Applause] here. [Applause] And New York has possession. They trail by [Applause] one. Towns against Seakum. Towns passes to Brunson with the tear drop. No luck on that one. Hallebertton with some nice D. Matherin with a ball and it’s Anobi picking him up. It’s Matherin with a drive and it’s good. First made shot in four attempts. Yeah, this is Matherin at his best driving hard to the cup and finishing in style. Brunson finds Towns. Oh, and Turner with a block. Oh, and Turner with a block. Morin passes to Seakkum. lays it up and in off the pretty assist. Seakum’s got five now. And just a straight baller move from Seakkum. I mean, shrugging off the coverage and keeping his focus on that [Applause] basket. It’s his first trip to the line. [Applause] And the first one at the line is good. [Applause] Both free throws good from Brunson. Making it look effortless. Send this guy to the strike. He’s going to cash in more than not. Nimhart. The pass to Matherin. Here’s Hallebertton. Here’s Nimhart off the mark there with a three. You know, at the end of the day, size does matter, especially on the glass. And you think about the value Andrew Nimhard provides. Clark, he really excels at running the offense. He’s the quintessential point guard. BA has a great feel for setting up his teammates for what they’re trying to get done. Plays with tremendous pace and great great confidence. Typically doesn’t over dribble and is unafraid of any moment. I like how Seakum uses his body control to adjust to what the defense is doing. Indiana shooting their first free throws of the game. [Applause] Shooting two. [Applause] And he makes a first [Applause] Seakum hits them both. Knicks trail by five. Brunson passes to Bridges. Towns with the ball. Fires the three. It’s good on the put back. Great job of crashing the offensive glass. He stayed with it. That’s hard nose tough basketball. [Applause] Pass to Turner throwing inside. And there’s a whistle. He’ll head to the line to shoot two. And Turner’s length causes defenses all kinds of problems. I mean, he really uses that length extremely well to draw fouls. Indiana shooting their third and fourth free throw shots of the night. [Applause] He’s off on the first. And you know, because Turner is such a good free throw shooter for his position, defenses really can’t send him to the line too often. He’ll make him pay. [Applause] both. Knicks trail up by three and Anobi finds Brunson. It’s Bridges on the [Applause] wing. Matherine against Brunson. Five to shoot. The shot is good and this game is back to even. Brunson’s got seven points in the game. You know, some threes look better than others, and Brunson’s lefty stroke from three is a beautiful thing. Here’s the pick. Hallebertton outside. Turner. A screen on Brunson. Here’s Hallebertton. Drilled from 11 ft out. Hallebertton’s gotten his second bucket of the game. Whenever that mid-range jump shot is available, Hallebertton is going to take advantage of it. He’s a really good passer, but also an opportunistic scoreer. And timeout is called by Tom Thibido. Coach wants to speak to his guys, maybe alter some of the game [Applause] plan. [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Towns passes to Brunson. Now Anobi Towns outside over Seakum. Six to shoot. The shot by Towns. No [Applause] good. Hallebertton. The pass to Seakum. [Applause] Pass to Turner from outside the ark and he’s in the books now. One for two. Really like it when Turner squares up from outside because he’s got a sweet stroke and because of his size hard for defenders to get to the shot and it also stretches the floor which is good for his team. Now here’s Towns still no points and that one’s good. Brunson, that’s how you up the ante. Come right back at him. A little back and forth from long range. I love it. That’s a terrific answer there. Nimhard with it. He’s guarded by Bridges. Hallebertton looking for an opening. And the dunk by Hallebertton. Now that was nasty. Absolutely nasty. Hallebertton looking like a street baller with that kind of dribble move. Major handles. Elbow shot on the way. And the Knicks getting another bucket right there. He just brings a great feel for the game at the offensive end. Hallebert against Brunson for three. It’s hauled in by Jaylen Brunson. New York trailing. Pass to Robinson. Towns outside. [Applause] Brunson with it. and an obi for three. No good there. The Pacers have gone seven of 14 and looking in control. Seakum gets doubled. Here’s the three. Nimhar good. And the Pacers lead by five. Defensively there was a lack of aggressiveness and it really made it easy for him to knock that shot down. Towns passes to [Applause] Bridges outside. and Anobi from the ark drains the triple. Yeah, making the smart pass there. I mean, Bridges doesn’t just hold the ball. Nhard. The pass to Hallebertton. So, it’ll be two free throws. He was fouled in the active shooting. Indiana shooting their fifth and six free throws of the game. [Applause] shooting two [Applause] and he knocks down the first one. I tell you, one of the things I’ve noticed about Hallebertton is his endurance, man. It is off the charts. He’s always pushing the pace and really outworking other guys most of the time. He’s constantly revving up the motor and taking things up a notch. New York making a switch here. Aua checked in for Robinson. Hart comes in for Anobi. McBride, he’s checked in for Bridges. And Payne is subbed in for Brunson. Now here’s Payne. [Applause] From down in the low post it goes. And the defense no factor which is why he simply laid it in [Music] on the night. He’s two for two at the stripe. Yeah. You know that was one spot where they didn’t have to worry about him at all. I mean at the free throw line he was automatic. [Applause] shooting two. [Applause] That one misses. [Applause] Not and the second free throw is good. Knicks trail by three. Now pay [Applause] inside. It’s tipped. Here’s McBride. Ooh, can’t tie it up as that one’s no good. Indiana has gone three for five from deep so far in this matchup. Seakum no good. New York shooting around 44% in this opening quarter. Pass to Hart. Hey, right there. Towns looking for an opening. [Applause] [Music] And he’s now one for four after that one. Towns attacks the basket with such a ferocity and never give up attitude. I love that about him, guys. McConnell outside to a screen on pain. Toppin outside. lets it go from deep. That one’s good on the assist from McConnell. The defense really fell apart there. You can’t afford to leave them all alone at the arc. And the call is going to be Yes. an illegal screen. The screener was leaning a bit right there. His feet may not have been planted. Pretty obvious call by the officials. Yeah, I agree. You know, sometimes that can be a tough call for the refs to make, but not that time. It was easy there. Jackson, he’s checked in for Seiakum. Minot’s checked in for New York. Brunson comes in for Payne. Now here’s Hallebertton. Nine points in the game from deep. Hart pulls it in. Just terrible defense. I don’t know how he missed that shot. Outside Brunson. Three-pointer. Rebounded by Hallebertton. Indiana leading by four. To the paint. Here’s Jackson. And there’s the rejection. Pass to Brunson. [Applause] Now it’s hard. Six on the shot clock. 19-footer. Brunson misses. Well, you know, he wants that one back. I mean, more often than not, he’ll sink that mid-range jumper. Now, here’s Hallebertton. McBride covers. A nice shot by Hallebertton. Hallebertton’s got 11 points. That shot by Hallebertton. Not easy. Taking the hit and still finishing the play. [Applause] Aua with a screen on McConnell. Pass to McBride. Three-pointer. Indiana’s gone four of seven from three-point range here in the first. Got a hand on it. Here’s Brunson. [Applause] high arcing shot. It’s not going to go for him. And so it’s Indiana leading by six as we wrap up the quarter. Their work from distance has been impressive and it’s put them in this lead right now. We’ll be right back after this word. [Applause] Hope you’ve enjoyed the broadcast so far. Halfway through the first half in this one. And a closer look here at the scoring breakdown for the Pacers. You know, so far in this one, these guys have been knocking it down from distance. You’ve got to like their confidence as this game continues. They’re on a nice roll and I just love playing on teams like this, passing teams. You can tell they really like playing with each other and hopefully they keep this up. Well, despite the effort to create super teams, the league has a lot of parody right now, Grant. It really does, and I like it. It’s not quite like the 80s Celtics and Lakers or the ’90s Bulls. Partly because of the salary cap. It’s so hard to pay more than two, maybe three stars at a time. We’ve got to Hallebertton is out there with TJ McConnell. Then it’s Aaron Nmith and it’s Jackson in at the five spot. That’s the five for the Pacers. Now here’s McConnell. No made baskets yet. [Applause] Now here’s Jackson tightly guarded. Hallebertton. Pass to Jackson and the dunk by Jackson. Sweet dime that time from Hallebertton. This combo guard has really impressive floor awareness, [Applause] folks. Aua up top. Back to Brunson. Aua with a screen on McConnell. Brunson assertive on the take outside. McBride from downtown. He drains that one after two misses. Now one for three. He kicks it out. Takes advantage of the open space. That’ll leave a defense scrambling. Here’s McConnell and he banks in the layup. McConnell’s got his first bucket in this one. When they get their opportunity to punch it inside, they don’t hesitate. Pass to Sims. Now Brunson. He’s marked by McConnell from 13 and he gets the jumper to drop. Brunson’s got 14 points for the game. And no matter how the D’s coming at him tonight, Brunson has adapted and that’s what great scorers do. They figure it out. Now here’s N Smith. No points yet. Toppen with it. [Applause] Indiana needs to get a shot off. Here’s Nesmith Hart with the defensive effort. Knicks trail by three. [Applause] And here’s Brunson. 14 points for him. A Chua with a screen. Hart from long range. Back to Brunson outside. McBride for three. Basket is good. Off the assist from Brunson. McBride’s got six here in the quarter. And Hallebertton has got the ball here for the Indiana Pacers. [Applause] And we’re just over two and a half minutes into the second. Jackson gets the bucket. And once more this half, they find a way to get great position inside. McConnell against Brunson. Brunson is doubled outside. McBride. fires from deep. Indiana with a rebound. McConnell [Applause] outside. Pass to Hallebertton. Fires for three. It’s rebounded by New York. Aua’s got four rebounds now. Hart finds Brunson. [Applause] And so he draws the foul headed to the line to shoot a pair. Aaron Nesmith picks one up. And you have to avoid getting too physical with Brunson because he’ll get these calls. This is his second trip to the free throw line in this one. [Applause] That free throw good from Brunson. Some changes for Indiana. Miles Turner, he’s checked in for Jackson. And it’s Nimhard in for McConnell. Robinson, he’s checked in for New York. Bridges comes in for Aua. [Applause] Both shots good from the strike. And here in the second quarter of action as we approach four minutes played Nimhard. The pass to Hallebertton [Applause] over Brunson misses off the left iron. The Knicks have gone four for seven in the second quarter. And Male Bridges still one of the better wing defenders in the league. Grant. Yeah, he’s so great at pestering a shooter. Good lateral movement and wingspan makes him hard to get around. He might not be the best in the league, but he is well above average. Now here’s Hallebertton. 11 points in the game. Pass to knee Smith. [Applause] Just five on the clock. Hallebertton. The pass to Smith. These are his first free throws of the [Applause] game. Shooting two. First one falls for him and the Knicks making a change here. Now Chu has checked in [Applause] [Applause] and good on the second. So he makes them [Applause] both. New York has gone two of four from the perimeter in the second so far. Outside Hart pass to Aua. Hey, puts up a three. The rebound by N Smith. Indiana’s gone four of eight from three. A nice percentage. And plays like that one can make the difference in a close game. And it definitely got the bench on their feet, too. Making a statement for sure. I mean, we’ll see if they can maintain that aggressive approach, guys. To the middle. Here’s Bridges. Fades back and it falls all over the rim and in. Yeah, there’s so many different ways Bridges can pick a defense apart. I mean, just dissecting them there. Pass to Turner. Back to Hallebertton. They double team Hallebertton. There’s Nesmith with the three. Knocks down the long J. Nesmith’s got five points in the quarter. Could have been much better defense. I mean, you can’t give this guy any room to operate. Bridges down low. Nmith covering. Bridges misses. Indiana leading by five. Nimhard. The pass to [Applause] Nmith up top. Turner Aua [Applause] defending back to Turner over Brunson. Turner no good. The Knicks have gone five of 10 in this second quarter. Pass to Bridges. Second chance effort and he sinks the layup. Bridges has got six. And Bridges is used to having to make contested shots. Good defense just doesn’t phase him. Top it against Hart. Toppin passes to Hallebertton. Limhard left side. Off target from outside. Knicks trail by three. Pass to Brunson. right here, baby. [Applause] Clock at four. The rebound by Turner. Turner’s got four rebounds in the game. Nesmith with it. And Bridges picks him up defensively. [Applause] Brunson against Hallebertton outside. Nice. Here’s Turner. Doesn’t go for him. Aua with some nice D. Launches it. Yes. And a nice assist from Brunson. It’s all knotted up. Brunson with a sixth sense. I mean, always knows where his teammates are. And we’ll have a timeout here. Called by Rick Carile. He’s going to talk it over with his [Applause] guys. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Let’s go. Let’s go. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] And Indiana with some changes. Seakum comes in for Tophen. And Matherin subbed in for Nissan. And the Knicks making a change here. [Applause] pass to Hallebertton. [Applause] There’s a screen by Turner. Oh, yes sir. Hallebertton from deep. All Hallebertton needs is a little dancing room. Once the screen provides that, he’s ready to roll. Payne finds Towns. Bridges outside now. Here’s Hart. Screen by Bridges. Just five to shoot. Shoots from the elbow. Hart can’t hit. And the shooter had very little space on that attempt. And guys, that’s exactly the kind of high impact defense they want to see out of him. [Applause] Nimhard outside. Down low. Here’s Hallebertton. Pass to Matherin. No good with the triple. Knicks trail by three. And here’s Hart. [Applause] Here he goes. Oh, and Turner with a block. There’s the defensive presence they want from Turner. Hustling and using his mobility to send it back. [Applause] And it’s the Knicks with the ball. Four on the clock. And here’s Payne outside. Boy, good contest that time by Howard. The combination of quickness and length allows him to defend at a high level. Tyrese playing big in the painted area and he can take over in a nancond. I mean, once he catches fire, it’s difficult to squelch it. Pay the pass to [Applause] Bridges. Back to Payne. hard against Seakkum. Lets it go and Muel Bridges picks up the foul. That’s his first foul of the [Applause] game. Pacers leading by five. [Applause] Nimhard outside pass to Seakkum. This one for three. The Knicks with the rebound. They’ve been having major problems offensively. Definitely in a bit of a dry spell. Offensive rebound. Pay. Oh, a clear foul there on the miss shot. So, he’ll get a pair at the line. They’ll pin that one on Pascal Seakum. And even from where we’re sitting, you could clearly tell it was a foul. No question about it. I mean, a ton of contact and a good call by the officials. [Applause] The first free throw is good. [Applause] And so he hits both Indiana leading by three. Hallebertton outside. Turner. A screen on Payne. Pass to Turner. The three is up. Down it goes. And a great assist by Hallebertton. Hallebertton’s got four assists in the game. Boy, and Turner’s really good at picking the defense apart, especially with the catch and shoot jumper. Now here’s Hart. And here’s Payne. Defended by Hallebertton to the paint. Pan the basket by Bridges. Bridges has got eight. No need to risk a shot from range when you can take it inside. Hallebertton. The pass to Demar. Back to Hallebertton. [Applause] Hallebertton draws the double to the inside. Turner controls the rebound and the put back. And the defense pays the ultimate price when they don’t box Turner out. I mean, he’s more than happy to throw it down if nobody puts a body on it. Now, here’s [Applause] Towns outside. Payne Bridges. A screen on Hallebertton. Down to five on the shot clock. Pay the pass to Towns. [Applause] And the ball goes out of bounds. Last touch by Turner. [Applause] 40 seconds left to play in the second quarter. And so it’s Hallebertton with it. He brings it up for Indiana. They lead by six. That’s their biggest margin. Pass to Matherin. Turner in the high post. Five on the clock and he got the whistle on the way up. So he’ll be headed to the line for a pair. Man, excellent patience from Turner close to the basket there. I mean, forced the defense to get a little handsy with him in the paint. Shooting two. [Applause] And the first one at the line is good. The Knicks making a switch here. [Applause] out. You got it out. And so Turner nails them both. 15 seconds left in the second. Hallebertton against Brunson. Oh, look at Jaylen Brunson. Don’t let that size fool you. That lack of defensive intensity is not going to stop a player of his caliber from scoring. It doesn’t go for him. And so it’s the Indiana Pacers leading by six as we wrap up the quarter. And their defense has stood out, wreaking havoc for the opposition. Time for a quick break, then back to the action. [Applause] [Music] [Music] And we’ve Got second half action for you thus far. A pretty evenly contested game. You look at Jaylen Brunson in this game. He’s been everywhere. They’ve leaned on him to provide a lot of offense and that’s how he likes it. And you know what? They’ve come at him a few different ways defensively and nothing has slowed him down. [Applause] Knicks trail by six and on the floor for Tom Tibido as we get into the second half they’ve got Jaylen Brunson Mitchell Robinson is out there with Carl Anthony Towns then it’s Male Bridges and it’s Anonobi in at the three the small forward Hallebertton the pass to Seakum [Applause] Back to Hallebertton. Throws it down and the official calls a foul. It may be a three-point play. It’s going to go on Mitchell Robinson. This will be his third trip to the free throw line. Harts checked in for Robinson. [Applause] And that one misses. Knicks trail by five. Pass to Bridges. Oh, and Turner with a block. Oh, and a fast break for the Pacers. And then Seakkum with the jam. And just such a long and powerful player. I mean, once Seakum gets inside like this, he’s ready to jam. And an Obi for three. Indiana with a rebound. Seakum’s got his fourth rebound in this one. Here’s Turner. Pass to Seakum. There’s the triple. That’s good. And Hallebertton gets the assist. Hallebertton’s got five assists in the game. And just so accurate off the pass. I mean, I love whenever Seakum decides to go right up with it like that. Brunson good on the baseline. J Brunson’s got 20. Boy, clearly embracing the game with his whole heart there. Love showing up for the team and just playing the game. Here’s Hallebertton. Hallebertton finishes strong. Like the way Hallebertton continues to take more responsibility on the offensive end his game. Warren said he does that. Hart finds Bridges and he comes up with a bucket. Bridges has got 13 now. Doing all he can so far, but they still find themselves trailing. [Applause] Hallebertton on the wing. Brunson defending pulls up and all around the rim that time before dropping. 22 points for him. Pick works well there, but the defense left a lot to be desired. Yeah, that’s not the defense you need. You got to be tougher defensively. Now here’s Hart. Back to Brunson. An aggressive pump fake move by Brunson pulling the defender in close. New York shooting their seventh and eighth free throw attempts of the [Applause] game. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. And he drops a first. [Applause] Both free throws good from [Applause] Brunson. Second half of play here with just under 2 and 1/2 minutes [Applause] past Nhard. The three ball down it goes. And a great assist by Hallebertton. Give him eight. and just totally relentless, only increasing the intensity level. Yeah, I love the fact he doesn’t play the score. He just keeps coming attack mode. He doesn’t know how to step off the gas pedal. And we’ll have a timeout called by Tom Thibido. He wants a few moments to regroup with his players. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. Pass to Bridges. Now here’s Brunson. Towns. A screen on Hallebertton. Here’s Brunson. The rebound by Turner. Turner’s got rebound number nine now. What an effort here tonight. Look at Hallebertton converting through contact. Hallebertton has a nice combination of smarts and skill. Makes him a KY scorer. Well, Clark talking about Benedict Matherin. He’s another great young Canadian player. Yeah, they’ve got a ton of them coming from north of the border. PA, I mean, Matine, you got RJ Barrett, SGA, Shay Gil, just Alexander. I mean, at this point, you could probably fill a couple of rosters with highlevel players that come from Canada. And from the sideline, let’s catch up with Allie Brian. One of the great challenges of an NBA player’s life is being traded. Veteran PJ Tucker said, “In 24 hours, you’re playing for another team in another city. Getting all of your stuff, uprooting your kids, changing schools, your whole entire life changes in a blink. If you’ve never experienced it, you’d never understand.” NBA. Pretty heavy stuff, Ally. Thank you. Given his range, you’d expect him to capitalize on that open. Turner for three. The Knicks with the rebound. Towns has got four rebounds now. It’s Bridges on the wing from outside the ark. Yes. And a nice assist from Brunson. Brunson’s got his fourth assist in this one. Oh, productive from back there. Bridges showing the range. Now, here’s Seakkum. 12 points for him. Here’s Hallebertton against resistance. Hallebertton gets it to go and despite the height disadvantage. Oh my. He just attacks that interior. You know what guys? Honestly, I didn’t think he’d win that battle. I mean, that’s a lot of height to give up. A flashy ball handler at times. Brunson knows how to carve up scoring opportunities for himself. Pass to Turner. Math against Hanobi. Inside the dunk by Hallebertton. High energy throw down that time by Hallebertton. Not wasting any time or motion. And timeout is called by Tom Thibido. He’s going to talk it over with his guys. Boy, you got to like what Tyrese Hallebertton has done in this game. He’s getting loose and doing work. They want to talk this over and find some answers. [Applause] Heat up here. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] N Smith, he’s checked in for Matherin. And the Knicks making a change here as well. McBride’s checked in. [Applause] Here’s Towns. Pass to Harden. And it’s Miles Turner with the foul. That’ll be his second foul of the game. [Applause] Towns passes to Hart. Towns is green on Seakkum. Hart goes in. Bridges with it. Shot clock at six. Here’s McBride. The kick out to Brunson. The rebound by Nimhard. That’s the shot they wanted. It just didn’t fall. You know what? That’s a confidence shaker for him though. I mean, that’s a shot he expects to make every time. Now, here’s Hallebertton. 28 points for him. Shoots from 12. Hart pulls it in. Hart’s got six rebounds in the game. Right side. Brunson out of bounds. It’ll be Indiana’s ball. Indiana leading by 10. Here’s Hallebertton. Turner passes to Seakkum. Hallebertton left side. Back to Seakkum. Five to shoot. Turner. A screen on Hart and here’s Seakkum for three and it’s New York with a rebound. Towns has got his fifth rebound in this one. Offensively, it’s been a struggle for him. Yeah, they need to string together some shots to have any kind of chance. Bridges outside. Here’s McBride off target from three-point range. And this is exactly who you want taking that shot. He just missed it. Turner finds Hallebertton. There’s Nith with the three. Art pulls it in. Art’s got his seventh rebound here tonight. [Applause] Bridges outside. [Applause] Now here’s McBride. He’s guarded by Nimhart. New York needs to get one up quick. The timer ticks. The lead now in single digits. Bridges has got 10 points here in the second half. Yeah, the quickness from Bridges there looking like a guard. Seakum outside. Pass to Hallebertton. Here’s Hallebertton on the take. And the layup is good. Hallebertton’s got 30 points. Great speed displayed that time by Tyrese Hallebertton. Went right to the rack when he saw the gap in the defense and Turner with the block on the wing. Nemhart to the paint. Here’s Seakum. Ooh, give him his fifth make of the game in 10 attempts inside. Seakum gets the better of the defense using his agility clearing himself a path to a shot. Bridges outside. [Applause] Double by Turner. Check out Brunson going to work inside. Brunson doesn’t fear going in amongst the trees. Remarkable poise there inside. [Applause] Brunson against Hallebertton. Over Brunson. Hallebertton. No good. And so it’s Hart with it. He brings it up for the Knicks. It’s a 10-point game. Bridges outside. Pass to Towns. The kick out to Brunson. Here’s the three. That’s in. Coming off an assist from Towns. Brunson’s got 13 points now in the quarter. Pretty much the second Brunson gets the ball, he’s into motion. And that’s how it’s done. Nimhard outside. Turner up top. Seakum. There’s a screen by Turner. Here’s Nimhard. Sinks the tray. Nimhart’s got 11. Got to fight harder to get over those screens. Well, I’m going to credit the screen. I mean, that’s a good strong pick he lays there. Now, here’s Hart. Towns. A screen on Seakkum. Art passes to Towns. Here’s McBride trying to come right back with a three of his own, but it’s no good. Pass to N Smith. Back to Hallebertton. Here’s an eight-footer. Can’t hit that one. Good work defensively by Towns. Bridges passes to Hart. The Pacers pull it in. 13 points was their biggest lead of the game. [Applause] Now here’s Hallebertton. Brunson defending and down it goes. Two points and it’s a 12-point Pacer lead. And the defense has no one to blame but themselves. I mean, they just let him get right to the rim. You know, he should be getting extra attention from the defense, not less. Now, here’s Brunson. Gibbon 31 now. The Pacers pull it in. Seakum’s got his sixth rebound on the night. Nimhard outside. Pass to Hallebertton. And he was fouled while in the act of shooting. So, he’ll take two free throws. Jaylen Brunson picks one up. Typically crafty offense from Hallebertton. I mean using a fake that time to his advantage. And let’s quickly check out the scoring breakdown here for the Pacers. You know, all game long they’ve imposed their will on the interior, scoring a lot of points in the painted area. Yeah, and their team first approach is another thing you have to like. And they’ve had great ball movement and are getting a lot of points off assist. [Applause] Free throw good. Hallebertton Toppin. He’s checked in for Indiana. McConnell comes in for Nimhart. Auis checked in for New York. Payne comes in for Brunson. [Applause] Good on both. And the Knicks with the possession here. They trail by 14. Kane the pass to Towns. Towns double team outside. [Applause] Hart. Wellplaced jumper from the free throw line. Hart’s got his second basket. A very high percentage look when the D is nowhere to be seen. Outside Nmith pass to Seakkum up top toppen. No debate there. He he got hammered. Blatant contact. Straightforward call. Simple. First trip to the free throw line for him in this one. [Applause] The first one falls. [Applause] rebound. Big and so he makes both from the line. 27 seconds left in the third quarter. Payne against McConnell. Towns a screen on McConnell. Payne the pass to Towns. No good on the triple. Hallebertton with a ball. Launches a three. Tyrese Hallebertton getting it done for Indiana. He’s been an offensive force now with over 30 points after the quarter. More 2K action in just a [Applause] [Applause] moment. All right, let’s take a look at our assist of the game presented by State Farm. This is the definition of team chemistry. I love to see this kind of communication and connection between teammates leading to the perfect pass for me. Next to the big time alley oops and monster throwdowns. Passes like that are probably the next best thing when it comes to sweet looking NBA highlights. And as we head into the fourth, we’ll see if there’s a comeback in the works or if it’s more of the same for the first three quarters. TJ McConnell is out there with Tyresese Hallebertton. Then it’s Obie Topphen. Then there’s Isaiah Jackson and it’s knee Smith in at the small forward position. That’s the five for the Pacers. Jackson the screen to the inside and the dunk by Jackson. He’s so dangerous in the pick and roll. Hallebertton beating the defense with that pass right there. Outside Hart. [Applause] And they recover it. Here’s Aua. Aua with the dunk. Oh, nothing soft about that. Was not going to be denied. Just took the dunk that was right in front of him. Well, you know, if nobody’s going to put a body on him, then that’s going to be the result. Now, here’s Hallebertton. Pass toppin. Just five on the clock. Toppin a screen on Brunson. Shot from 12 again. Indiana. Knicks trail by 16. Boy, they need something to go to regain some confidence. No question. Way too many empty possessions for them. Fourth quarter now. We’re about a minute and a half in. I’m open. I’m open. Hallebertton outside. 43. Oh my goodness. He’ll go to the line with a chance at a four-point play. Miles McBride picks one up. [Applause] Come on. Let’s go. Next trip by 20. Pass to Hart. Here’s Brunson. He’s marked by McConnell. And the shot counts. He’s fouled. And it’s a chance for a three-point play. Okiki’s checked in for New York. [Applause] What’s [Applause] up and the free throw no good. Indiana leading by 18. Nmith passes to [Applause] Hallebertton. McConnell outside the three. Aua with a rebound for New York. They’ve gotten half of their attempts to fall in the fourth. Two for four now. Pass to Brunson. shoots over Nesmith and Brunson with the bucket on the assist from Hart. Brunson’s got 17 points here in the second half. Hallebertton outside. Hart pulls it in. Art’s got nine rebounds in the game. Boy, he’s getting it done. [Applause] And here’s McBride. Back to Hart. Pass to Brunson. And the rebound goes to the Pacers. Fourth quarter keeps moving along. Three minutes gone by now. [Applause] Now Topphen. Hallebertton outside to the middle. Count it. Hallebertton’s got 40 points, guys. It’s a one-man show out there. I mean, he looks like he’s willing to handle all of the offensive duties for his team. Here’s Brunson. Counted. He’s scoring the rock at will, but he needs more help from his teammates. Pacers leading by 16. Pass to Jackson. No good on the shot. Aua with some nice D. And so it’s Hart with it. He brings it up for the New York Knicks. [Applause] Here’s Brunson and he drives in. That one drops for him. Brunson’s got eight here in this quarter. Now you see Brunson with that quick dribble. I mean that is a nice play. Take it away. Hard with it. Hallebertton picks him up. Hart passes to Brunson. It’s hauled in by McConnell. The Pacers have gone four of seven from the field in the fourth quarter. [Applause] Back to N Smith over Brunson and Nmith gets it to go and the Pacers lead by 16. The Knicks have gotten five shots out of nine to go in this fourth. Okiki the pass to Brunson. Oh, it’s blocked by Jackson. Here’s Hallebertton. Good D by Brunson. Knicks trail by 16. McBride passes to Aua. The put back. Oh, he hangs in there and cashes in on the second chance points. Tremendous hustle. Working hard for that bucket. Indiana’s gone one of two from deep in this quarter. McConnell [Applause] outside. Shot clock puck at five. Here’s Jackson. Oh, a dunk and a foul. A powerhouse move. He’s got a chance for one more at the line. Precious Achua picks one up. And some changes here for the Pacers. Miles Turner, he’s checked in for Tophen. Pascal Seakum comes in for Nmith and it’s Nimhart in for McConnell. [Applause] [Applause] Knicks trip by [Applause] 17. Brunson up top defended by Hallebertton. Brunson. A screen on Seakum. Hart passes to Towns outside. Hart just five to shoot. Shot is up. The rebound by Turner. Turner’s got rebound number 12 now. Tenacity on the glass and Indiana misses again for New York. They’ve gotten six of their 13 shots to go. Brunson finds Hart. Towns outside. [Applause] Back to Hart. Fires the three. Indiana with a rebound. They led the game at one point by 20. Pass to [Applause] Jackson. Here’s Nimhart. Turner. A screen on Bridges. Here’s Nimhart. banked it in off the glass and the Pacers lead by 19. And you know, coaches will take possessions like that all day long. Phenomenal use of the screen there. Bridges feeling it out a little bit. Hart passes to Bridges. [Applause] Screen by Robinson down low. The shot no good. Ooh, excellent D there from Jackson. Indiana leading by 19. Seakum [Applause] outside. Back to Hallebertton. It’s rebounded by New York. Towns has got his seventh rebound of the game of that last one. Hart passes to Brunson. Floats one and it’s good on the layup. Brunson’s got 41. Such a strong floater game. Just another part of Brunson’s expanding arsenal. Hard against Seakum. Back to Hallebertton. And the dunk by Hallebertton. Now that’s how you use the screen right there. And it leads to a thunderous finish. That was nice. And you know, not enough help from the defense there to compensate. He gets a clean look. And that’s exactly how you draw it up. Hart rejected by Seakkum. And the coaching staff, they love this. I mean, Seakkum, he’s engaged, aggressive, just getting after it on the defensive end. Hard against Seakum. Hart passes to Bridges from outside. Off the mark and Mitchell Robinson picks up the foul. That’ll be foul number five on him. And we’ll have a timeout here. Called by Rick Carile. Coach clearly has something he wants to say to his team right now. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. The Pacers making a switch here. Mather’s checked in. And the switch here also for New York. Anobi. He’s checked in for Hart. And now, let’s present our New Balance Player of the Game, Tyrese Hallebertton. This has been one of the most dominant performances I’ve ever seen. What’s incredible is he has no off switch, just a tremendous motor. And he’s making an impact on every single possession. And look at him. You think it’s just another game. He is totally in control of his emotions. And you know, this whole arena really appreciates this guy. And it’s clear that he takes pride in playing his best in front of them. Indiana leading by 19. Seakum left side. Brunson against Hallebertton. The Knicks pull it in. Robinson’s got four rebounds now. Trying to find a spark here. Yes indeed. A rough stretch offensively. They could really use a basket. Brunson misses. The Pacers have gotten eight of 16 attempted shots to go here in the fourth. Seakum left side. Oh, and there’s the whistle on the shot. So, two free throws for him coming up. You can see the length come into play whether Seakum’s facing up or back to the basket. [Applause] First free throw is good. [Applause] Seakum hits them both. Knicks trail by [Applause] 21. Brunson taking his time here. Towns for three. Yes. And a nice assist from Brunson. Brunson’s got five assists in the [Music] game. Pass to [Applause] Hallebertton. Turner. A screen on Brunson. Three-pointer. Hallebertton. Carl Anthony Towns comes up with a rebound. Towns has got rebound number eight here already in the game. Bridges passes to Towns over Seakam and he can’t bank that one in. And here’s Hallebertton. He’ll bring it up for the Pacers. Their biggest lead of the game was 21 on the wing. Nimhart. Pass to Hallebertton. Turner in the high post working on Robinson. Turner a screen on Anobi. Down to five on the shot clock. Valerie passes to Turner and it’s blocked right out of the air and controls it and they were really able to find the mismatches they wanted and exploit those all night. Great execution from the players and coaching staff for the Pacers. In today’s game, you need to shoot it well from three. That was the difference maker. Exactly. And the defense didn’t rotate out quickly enough to disrupt their shooters. And one player just stole the show tonight, doing everything for his team. A monster night for Tyresese Hallebertton. Boy, from a scoring standpoint, he was absolutely sensational. Made the game look easy tonight. Their home crowd has energized them all game. Now they’re closing it out. And I think they can start that celebration right now. I mean, what a terrific team victory. Now here’s Towns. for three. Bridges. That’s in. Coming off an assist from Towns. Nice vision that time from Towns and you know he’s got that skill set. Boy, you love how guys are making plays for one another here. Yeah, just a balanced attack. A total team effort. Seakum against Towns. Back to Hallebertton and the layup is good off the glass. Hallebertton’s got 44. This is what winning is all about. Playing your best when it matters most. Yeah, you know, once they got victory in their view, a huge injection of energy and a great run to finish it off. They are blowing this one open. Maybe the only question is how big will this lead grow. [Applause] And so Indiana takes this one by a big margin, showing that they’re the far superior team. They win it going away. I’ll tell you what, give it up for their fans. They love to watch this team dominate. You best believe they’re all going home happy tonight. And that’ll do it, folks. For Clark Kellogg, Alli Leforce, and Grant Hill. This is Brian Anderson. And as we leave you, here’s a look at our player of the game, Tyrese Hallebertton. [Applause]
