PDB made zero adjustments the entire series and just watched his team do the same thing every game and get beat every game. He finally makes an adjustment and it’s to pull your starter after two goals. That’s fine and all, sometimes or creates the spark that’s needed. But obviously those goals were not on Ott, he was left hang to dry by his team twice. Easy for PDB to simply say it wasn’t on Ott but he’s too, I dunno, stubborn to say it?
To have a goalie with this level of poise after going through adversity like he has is pretty impressive. I think it says a lot about Otter. I personally think he’s a stud goalie, plenty of teams would love to have him as their number 1
When devils fans wanted DeBoer fired, Jagr said he was a great coach and wouldn’t be unemployed too long and that’s why he gets another job. He is a good coach but maybe his bedside manner with players wears thin, IDK

Tough one for otter, feel for him for sure. That said i dont think deboer made a bad call pulling him either, the 18 guys in front of him left him out to dry the last 3 games prior and 7 of 8 games vs edmonton over all the last 2 conference finals
