Game 2: Friday, June 6 at 8 p.m.
Game 3: Monday, June 9 at 8 p.m.
Game 4: Thursday, June 12 at 8 p.m.
*Game 5: Saturday, June 14 at 8 p.m.
*Game 6: Tuesday, June 17 at 8 p.m.
*Game 7: Friday, June 20 at 8 p.m.
It doesn’t start until Wednesday and then possibly 16 days to finish…great job NHL
I personally think Monday would have been adequate, but I’d also rather have both teams have healthy players as much as possible. Yes I think hockey in the middle of June is fucking ridiculous. But unless the NHLPA wants to force the league to have shorter seasons, it’s never going to happen.
Wow Deja Vu.. let’s see if Florida can keep the cup or Canada actually wins in the sport they invented.

What a shit schedule. I always felt like one of the great things about hockey playoffs was the grind of four rounds, games every other night unless you finish off your opponent early. Now they’re giving them damn near a week before game one then multiple days off. Typical brain-dead decision by the NHL.
2 days off between Games 3 and 4, when those games are at the same location? Then 1 day off between Games 4 and 5 when travel is involved?
What gives? Venue un-availability on June 11 I guess?
Another failure by the NHL. Yes the hardcore fans on here won’t be phased by the long delay to get the final started but the casual fans will forget hockey is even still going on. You’ve lost any momentum. Series should be starting tonight!
