What’s going on, guys? This is Costi and Jay Yang for another edition of the Yang Angle. Jay, what’s going on, man? Yeah, I decided to watch a Mets game on TV. We won 8 to three hit under. You know, rain stopped but still freezing for some reason. So, wind and shower. So, we’ll stay home for the rest of the evening watching some games at home. Yeah, it would have been nice for you to go. I know you were really excited about going to see them in person, but the good news is uh they play 162 games in baseball, and I’m sure in the coming days you’ll be able to actually catch a game. It’s I’m about 3 hours or 4 hours south from where you are in Baltimore, Maryland. And it’s supposed to be in the ‘9s all next week. So, I think this cold front’s gone. So, fingers crossed that you’re going to be able to go see your favorite team um at the park. But what I do like is the fact that just because you’re a favorite of the Mets, it’s not because you just give out the Mets blindly every day, you’re you’re not an emotional better, which gives a lot of testament to your system and your strategy that you put out. Um, the pick that you wanted to break down today is the Colorado Rockies traveling to the Miami Marlins. Currently scheduled to pitch at Marquez and Meyer. Um, and I know you said you had a prediction and strategy on this game. Yeah. Rockies versus Marley. Marcus versus Mayer. So, Marquez has been struggling this season 1 to7 record with a 7.13 erra indicating he’s not in good form. Uh, Meyer um I mean his performance have been more promising. Uh, showing better control and effectiveness on the mound. I think Miami offense has been more consistent. Uh while the Rockies have the worst record as you know 9 to49. So I think you know the pitch there’s a starting pitching edge the homefield advantage for Miami. So Miami is probably in a strong position to secure this win. So I’m taking minus Miami minus one and a half run spread. Got it. So the bet is once make sure the pitchers are listed guys Marquez and Meyer based on these two pitchers we like Miami while Jay likes Miami minus one and a half runs plus money plus 112 but this is a favorite. It is a pretty heavy favorite. I kind of want to hear your uh position on this. What do you go how do you select a big favorite or what kind of process goes into it when selecting a big favorite? Yeah. So, uh when handicapping super favorite, we should see if the line is justified. You know, obviously to dominating pitching, bullpen, offense, current form has has to be met to current standard of mind. The let down and trap spot. We should consider that we should check the winning losing streak historical trend. You know the over inflated the underestimated lines. We should focus on that whether you should play minus one and a half runs or you should play one plus 1.5 runs based on that indicator. So you know hope this helps you win today. Um um and hope I can come up with another lesson next uh in the next video. Now, we always do. We always break it down for you guys.
