So, uh, you know, we went to the Ocean View Seafood Restaurant, a beautiful sunny day today in Greenwich, Connecticut. Um, we plan to do some more walking, uh, mountain trailing, maybe hiking to help and strengthen my emotions on game day picks. So, when you go hiking, do you have a hiking stick or do you just you go without the stick? Uh, we just go without stick with the dog. We just explore the Is the dog on the leash or no leash? On leash, obviously. Yeah. Okay. And some people some people have no leash and the dog I know they always say on the trails is to to always have a leash, but um that’s awesome. I personally like hiking as well. Um it it’s it’s really good to get out there and decompress in general and to be healthy. And to be healthy, you have to be physically healthy to be mentally healthy. And you know the the life of a handicapper is more than just us on video giving you the prediction. It is to be healthy all around. So meditation comes in various forms and for me hiking and playing golf is a big meditation for me to to decompress and get dialed in. So we’re going to be breaking down um the Minnesota Twins and the Oakland Athletics. Right now I’m showing the listed pitchers as Matthews and Springs and you had a play on this game and strategy as well for us. Yeah. So, so this matchup so Sar Health Park I’ve been following the stadium has proven to be more hitter friendly. So with early the major league baseball games u they’re averaging uh over 11 runs per game. So there is a there’s a smaller like fall territory compared to the the Oakland Colossium and the warmer evening temperatures contribute the increased increased uh offensive production and you know the starting pitchers the Matthews and Springs are returning for their injuries may face limitation in their pitch counts placing additional pressure on their bullpens. So given the parks conditions and you know the status and the potential startup p pitching m duel I expect this to be a highscoring uh game pro is likely. So I’m picking over here on this matchup. Got it guys. So, take the over in this matchup as well as make sure that the pitchers are listed. And, you know, it’s it’s just has been happening for the entire season that this Oakland team playing at home is in a very hitter friendly ballpark. Um, kind of didn’t have this data going in. We anticipated it. Um, you were not the first to mention it as well. I’ve had my eye on it with the foul ter but the foul territory I actually didn’t know about to you just mentioned it where it’s giving the advantage to the hitters. So these are some of the things that you have to know when you’re betting baseball. It’s not a factor in football. The stadiums are the same. It’s not you know the totals in football don’t don’t affect the stadium uh situation and it doesn’t happen in basketball. So the fact is when you’re a totals better in baseball, you really have to know these things as part of the the big picture as part of the pie when you’re selecting these things. So I I I really enjoyed I never knew that before as well. So I’m learning uh speaking to you every day with uh this vast database that you keep for for sports betting and it’s it’s very efficient. Yes. as you told me that over under the park vector, the weather vector, starting pitcher vector, the offense vector, all has to be cooked in and applied to the system to come up with a even even with the free pick. I I I you know use a lot of time to uh choose it. So now on a daily basis um you know the wins and the losses happen when you’re when your sports handicapping. I know you mentioned in the beginning of of of this video about what you do to to take off the steam. Um, is there something you do on a day-to-day basis to control your emotions even if you’re not away? Yeah, there’s like there’s no like pill to take to get, you know, my emotions out. But I do have downturns. That’s the hardest part of this job. And there are times I just cannot give a W to for my clients. Then I think the simple thing you and I should remember is that we should trust mine or your process or system and u the results obviously matter long term like one day or two doesn’t define your success or failure and you know I think the no double down or revenge bets are just killers and I think you bet on teams not favorites or underdog you bet on value. So once you think about the principles of you know betting sports I I hope you can get another W um and have a winning games today. No it makes perfect sense. Um uh we love bringing the knowledge to the pick dogs community and besides just giving them the games giving them an understanding of what’s going to make them a smarter, better player as we head into the second half of 2025.
