Orlando Magic need a MAJOR 3-point boost
As even those numbers tell us, the Magic don’t have to be much more than average to be good at three-point shooting or to be good offensively. They just have to be respectable. And they were so far below respectable this year that it didn’t matter. And that’s where we’re heading. That’s the path ahead for the Magic is they’ve got to get to that level of respectability, for lack of a better way to phrase it. They’ve got to get to a level where teams aren’t ignoring them at the three-point line. And that’s why the playmaking part and the three-point part are so interconnected because better playmaking is going to lead to better three-point shooting. The question is, do the Magic have that on the roster more than they think? This is the ultimate question and this is probably what the Magic wanted answered this this season that they didn’t get answered because of all the injuries.
The Orlando Magic need to address their shooting issues. But they don’t need to do a lot to improve their offense:
